Silver Star Village Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Orlando, Florida area? Look no further than Silver Star Village, a mobile home park located at 2530 S Hiawassee Rd, Orlando, FL 32818, USA. Offering a distinct residential experience, Silver Star Village presents itself as a community with a mix of positive and concerning aspects, according to available customer reviews.
Silver Star Village can be contacted at (407) 745-0236 or +1 407-745-0236 for inquiries about availability and other details. While categorized under "RV parks near me," it's important to understand that Silver Star Village primarily functions as a mobile home park, suggesting a focus on longer-term residency rather than short-term RV stays typically associated with recreational vehicle parks. This distinction is crucial for local users seeking suitable accommodations.
Based on the provided customer feedback, the environment at Silver Star Village appears to have both positive and negative attributes. One long-term resident of three years described the park as "very clean" and highlighted a strong sense of community among the neighbors, particularly the older residents who look out for one another. This suggests a potentially supportive and close-knit environment, which can be a significant draw for individuals seeking a sense of belonging in their living situation.
However, another review paints a less favorable picture, raising concerns about management practices and security. This feedback mentions recurring rent increases, despite alleged promises to the contrary. The reviewer states that rent has been raised twice since the initial promise, placing a significant financial burden on residents, particularly retirees living on fixed incomes. This is a critical point for prospective residents to consider, as predictable and stable housing costs are often a priority, especially for those in their retirement years.
Furthermore, the negative review raises serious allegations regarding the security of the mobile home park, citing "burglary activity between midnight and 5 am." Such concerns about safety and security are paramount for any residential community. The reviewer also expresses worry about the potential "abusing of the elder," which, if substantiated, would be a grave issue requiring immediate attention and resolution. These allegations should prompt potential residents to inquire further about the security measures in place and the overall management practices of Silver Star Village.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," Silver Star Village might appeal to individuals seeking a more permanent or semi-permanent living arrangement in their RVs, provided the park accommodates such setups. However, the reviews suggest that the primary focus is on mobile homes and long-term residents. Therefore, it is essential for those searching for typical short-term RV park amenities and services to verify if Silver Star Village caters to these needs.
In terms of services and features, the positive review alludes to a clean environment and a watchful neighborly community. This implies a degree of informal social support and potentially a well-maintained physical space. However, the lack of specific information about formal services or amenities, such as laundry facilities, communal areas, recreational facilities, or on-site management, makes it difficult to provide a comprehensive overview. Prospective residents should proactively inquire about the availability of such services to determine if Silver Star Village meets their requirements.
The features of Silver Star Village, based on the limited information, seem to revolve around its location in Orlando, Florida, and the sense of community experienced by at least one long-term resident. The address indicates proximity to the amenities and attractions of Orlando, which can be a significant advantage. However, the negative review casts a shadow on these potential benefits by highlighting concerns about cost and security, which can significantly impact the overall quality of life for residents.
Regarding promotional information, there is no specific promotional content provided in the given data. Therefore, it is not possible to share any special offers or incentives that Silver Star Village might be currently advertising. Interested individuals are advised to contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers to inquire about current promotions, availability, and pricing.
In conclusion, Silver Star Village presents a mixed picture based on the available customer reviews. On one hand, it appears to offer a clean environment and a supportive community, particularly for older residents. On the other hand, serious concerns have been raised regarding rent increases, security, and the treatment of elderly residents. For local users searching for "RV parks near me," Silver Star Village might be an option to consider for longer-term stays, but thorough due diligence is crucial. Potential residents should directly contact the management to address the concerns raised in the reviews, inquire about services and amenities, and understand the current rental policies and security measures in place. It is essential to weigh the positive aspects of community and location against the potential drawbacks of rising costs and security issues before making a decision about residing at Silver Star Village.

Silver Star Village Reviews
I lived in that mobile home park for 3 years Very clean the neighbors are always aware of what is happening around so we can take care of each other because we are older people,It made me very sad but for family reasons I had to move I recommend it✌🏼
Apr 17, 2023 · Sheila VargasThey raised the rent again, they do this every year, even though they promised not to do so. Since then they raise the rent up twice. They don't even secure the place there's burglary activity between midnight and 5am and they are abusing the elder. Do this people know that the retired members of this community do no get raise? We need them to adjust the rent lower. Practically we're losing all our retirement pay to the rent. Have mercy.
Apr 13, 2024 · Just meWe also used to live there. We found a mobile home we liked and it was at a price we thought we could afford. After buying the home we started finding things wrong. The guy we bought it from lied to us and said everything worked. First off we had to have all the electric redone because someone had double wired the main electric box. That was a bad fire hazard. There were two baths in the home and in both bath rooms the floor started falling through. Could not flush the toilet with paper in it cause it would not go down. The management never announced when the water was being shut off which was almost every week. They started complaining about our kids being there also. The new girls is very rude and the so called head manager is very rude. So no I would not go back there again Oh by the way when we told management about the bad deal we had with the one we bought the mobile home from she said we know all about him. if they knew about it why didn't they say something to us before we bought the mobile home? I think he is some how helping them by selling bad homes so people have to move and they get the profit. It is so sad because I really liked the people who lived there.
Mar 14, 2022 · Agrimony's CraftsDisgusting mobile home park located in high crime area. Silver Star Village has a rats, roaches and fleas infestations beyond words! We visited our family members and when we realized how poorly run the community is we immediately had our aunt put a For Sale sign up. We really don't care if the mobile home sells or not. The truth is we feel guilty selling it to anyone. Management is a shame! The staff is downright rude and unapproachable once you become a resident. The only time they will be nice is to get your application money and sell you one of their seized mobile homes. Eviction is very common at Silver Star Village. The office manager evicts people and seizes their home to make a profit.
Feb 26, 2020 · PATA RAJAStay away!!! This place is horrible and seems to get worse every year. I wish I had the money and means to move my parents out of this place. The management here is always changing and seem to be corrupt and take advantage of the elderly residents who live here. They are also very rude if you question them about anything. At least once or twice a month residents here have to boil water for a week or more because the water main is always bursting somewhere in the neighborhood due to old pipes and it takes them forever to fix. There are farrel cats everywhere and they pee on everything.Fleas in the grass because they don't treat the property. You can also see rats running around if you drive through at night. They also raise the rent every year, but no improvements are ever done.If you are trying to find a place for your loved ones to live, I repeat, stay away from this place. They will be taken advantage of and you will regret allowing them to live here.-----UPDATE!!!What do you know? The water is shut off again (10/13/19) and there is a boil water notice.Like I said, this is a monthly thing here. The residents here will now have to boil water for at least a week or two.I'll continue to update this thread everytime this happens for everyone to see. It's only a matter of time before a lawsuit is filed.
