Hilltop Mobile Home Park Introduce
Are you considering a move to a mobile home park in the Orlando, Florida area? Hilltop Mobile Home Park, located at 6101 Beggs Rd, Orlando, FL 32810, offers a residential setting with a history in the Lockhart area. You can reach them at (585) 752-9819 or +1 585-752-9819 for inquiries and to learn more about the community.
When searching for housing options, local users might explore various categories, including "RV parks near me." It's important to distinguish that Hilltop Mobile Home Park is a community designed for long-term residency in manufactured homes, rather than short-term stays for recreational vehicles. Mobile home parks typically provide a different living experience, often fostering a more permanent community with residents who have established longer-term ties to the area.
The available customer reviews for Hilltop Mobile Home Park offer a range of perspectives, spanning different time periods and focusing on various aspects of the community. One recent comment comes from someone with friends and family currently residing in the park. This individual reports positive feedback from their loved ones, stating that there are "no problems" and that "the management is great." They also provide practical advice for those seeking more information, suggesting a visit to the office during weekday hours. A notable positive aspect mentioned is the park's policy of allowing residents to install air conditioning units in their homes, recognizing the necessity of AC in the Florida climate. The reviewer describes the people there as "very generous and friendly," indicating a welcoming community atmosphere.
Another review takes us back to the 1980s, with the commenter recalling a personal connection to the park when their friend Rhonda's parents were the managers. They also mention a family member living in the "very 1st trailer on the front corner of the property," suggesting a long-standing presence of the park in the area. This historical perspective indicates that Hilltop Mobile Home Park has been a part of the Lockhart community for several decades.
Continuing with the historical recollections, the same reviewer from the 1980s notes that "back then it was decent." They share a personal memory of living there when their grandmother passed away. Interestingly, they also recount swimming in a "pond" located in the woods across the street, which they later learned was runoff from a nearby dump. This anecdote, while a childhood memory, provides a glimpse into the past environment surrounding the park.
A final review shifts focus to the educational opportunities in the vicinity of Hilltop Mobile Home Park. The commenter mentions attending Lockhart Jr. High School and having siblings who went to Lockhart Elementary. They were also slated to attend Apopka High School before their family moved. Notably, they point out that these schools were "all A rated schools at the time," highlighting the quality of the local education system during that period. This review places Hilltop Mobile Home Park within the context of a well-regarded school district, which could be a significant factor for families considering the area. The reviewer also mentions hearing about "Skin Heads" in the "heart of Lockhart," a historical social context that may or may not be relevant to the current environment of the mobile home park itself.
Considering these reviews, the environment of Hilltop Mobile Home Park appears to be characterized by a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, at least according to the more recent feedback. The willingness of management to allow AC installation underscores a practical consideration for residents' comfort in the Florida heat. The historical accounts provide a sense of the park's long-term presence in the Lockhart area, though they also hint at past environmental conditions in the surrounding area that may no longer be relevant. The proximity to reputable schools, at least historically, is another aspect of the broader environment to consider.
Specific details about the services offered at Hilltop Mobile Home Park are somewhat limited in the provided reviews. The mention of management suggests that there is on-site administration. The allowance of AC installation implies that residents are responsible for their own utilities within their homes. Typically, mobile home parks provide essential infrastructure such as water and sewer hookups. Further information regarding trash removal, lawn maintenance, or other communal services would require direct inquiry with the management.
Similarly, the features of Hilltop Mobile Home Park are not extensively detailed in the reviews. The presence of an office, as mentioned for obtaining information, is one feature. The historical reference to a "pond" across the street, while no longer a recreational amenity due to its past connection to a dump, indicates the natural surroundings of the area. The positive comment about friendly people suggests a social aspect to the community. However, details about amenities like recreational facilities, laundry rooms, or pet policies are not provided. Local users should contact the office to learn more about the specific features offered within the park.
No specific promotional information is available in the provided reviews for Hilltop Mobile Home Park. To learn about any current incentives for new residents or special offers, interested individuals would need to contact the management directly.
For local users searching within the "RV parks near me" category, Hilltop Mobile Home Park offers a long-term residential option within a mobile home community. The positive feedback regarding friendly management and the allowance of AC installation are notable advantages. The historical context provides a sense of the park's place in the Lockhart area, and the proximity to historically well-regarded schools might be a draw for families. However, detailed information about current services and features requires direct communication with the park's office. The historical environmental anecdote about the pond is less likely to be relevant today but offers an interesting, albeit cautionary, glimpse into the past.
In conclusion, Hilltop Mobile Home Park in Orlando, Florida, appears to be a long-established community with a reputation for friendly management and a practical approach to residents' comfort, as evidenced by the allowance of AC installation. The historical context places it within a community with a notable school district. However, prospective residents will need to contact the office at (585) 752-9819 to obtain detailed information about current services, features, and any available promotions. Visiting the park during office hours, as suggested by a reviewer, would also be a valuable step in assessing whether Hilltop Mobile Home Park meets their long-term residential needs.

Sep 25, 2022 · Scott BarrowI lived there in the 80's my friend Rhonda and her parents were managers. My SIL lived in the very 1st trailer on the front corner of the property.Back then it was decent. That's where we lived when my grandma passed away. We used to swim in the "pond" back in the woods across the street. It wasn't until later in life that's where the run off from the dump was. But we were kids so we either didn't care or didn't know it at the time.I attended Lockhart Jr high school, my brother and sister went to Lockhart Elementary, and I was to attend Apopka High school. But we moved before I was able to go to Apopka High school. They were all A rated schools at the time. Also in the heart of Lockhart I remember hearing about "Skin Heads"
Feb 07, 2023 · Terry RosendahlLive here for a few months and there was sewage coming out of the ground, crack heads and meth heads filled throughout. The manager is a real dick and nothing got fixed. They charge you extra to have an ac and in fl that is illegal. People have 8 to 9 living in one trailer. Electrical problems never got fixed. The bathtub faucet fell off the wall and never have i seen that before. Worst place ever.
