Sky View RV & Mobile Home Park Introduce
Sky View RV & Mobile Home Park, situated at 8431 State St, Sandy, UT 84070, USA, presents itself as a distinctive option for those searching "RV parks near me," particularly if a long-term stay is desired. This establishment uniquely caters to both recreational vehicles and mobile homes, aiming to provide a stable and comfortable living environment. Its strategic location in Sandy, Utah, within the vibrant Salt Lake County, places residents amidst the stunning natural beauty of the Wasatch Mountains while offering convenient access to urban amenities. The park's dual nature means it serves a broader audience, from those with large RVs seeking extended stays to individuals and families owning mobile homes.
The **environment** at Sky View RV & Mobile Home Park is designed to offer a blend of comfort and accessibility. The surrounding area boasts picturesque views of the Wasatch Mountains, providing a beautiful backdrop and opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking and biking. Being located on State Street in Sandy means residents have direct access to a major thoroughfare, facilitating easy commutes and access to a plethora of local conveniences. Shopping centers, diverse dining options, entertainment venues, and essential services are all within a short drive, ensuring that daily needs and recreational desires are easily met. The park aims to foster a "beautiful, clean, quiet place to call home," as noted by a positive customer review, indicating a focus on maintaining a pleasant and orderly living space. The blend of natural scenery with urban proximity creates a unique living experience, making it appealing for those who appreciate both.
In terms of **services and features**, Sky View RV & Mobile Home Park is geared towards supporting long-term residency for both RVs and mobile homes. While specific detailed amenities like swimming pools or clubhouses are not consistently highlighted across all available information, the park does offer full hook-up sites, which are essential for extended RV stays. A key feature emphasized by reviews is the accessibility and responsiveness of the park management. One review specifically praises the manager, Tammy, as "absolutely fabulous! She is friendly, kind, and very helpful! Not to mention if there is anything you need she is very accessible and promptly gets back to you." This highlights a significant service advantage: dedicated and attentive on-site management, which is crucial for fostering a positive living experience in any residential community. For big rigs, finding long-term RV space in the Salt Lake area can be challenging, making Sky View's ability to accommodate them a valuable feature.
However, it is important to provide an objective overview, which includes acknowledging diverse customer experiences. While some residents express immense satisfaction, describing the park as a "home away from home" and highly recommending it, other reviews present a starkly different picture. One detailed account describes "the least pleasant experience" with alleged issues such as termination of leases for "no less than 7 visitors," gossiping about previous guests, and manager knocking on doors at "any hour." Concerns were raised about honesty regarding previous tenant information, enforcement of unstated rules, and threats of eviction over minor issues like decorative plants. This review suggests a potentially challenging dynamic with management for some residents, citing a lack of professionalism, respect, and rationality. It describes attempts at reasonable conversation being met with superficial agreement, only for eviction threats to surface indirectly through neighbors. The reviewer explicitly states they "watered our neighbors lawns for them, attended to our elderly neighbor across the street, ripped all weeds out of our lawn and watered OVER the mandatory times per week and somehow she still took a disliking from us. Nightmare is an understatement." These contrasting accounts underscore the importance of direct inquiry and perhaps visiting the park to gauge the current environment and management style.
From a **promotional information** standpoint, Sky View RV & Mobile Home Park would likely highlight its prime location in Sandy, offering both scenic beauty and urban convenience. The ability to accommodate "big rigs" for long-term stays is a significant draw in an area where such spaces can be scarce. The positive testimonials, particularly those praising the manager's helpfulness and the park's clean and quiet atmosphere, would be leveraged to attract new residents seeking a stable and pleasant environment. For mobile home owners, the park offers a community setting for their manufactured homes, providing a more permanent alternative to transient RV camping. The phone numbers, (801) 255-2229 and +1 801-255-2229, are provided for direct contact, enabling interested parties to inquire about availability, rates, and specific rules. Given the varied feedback, a promotional message might emphasize the benefits of a direct conversation with management to clarify policies and ensure a good fit for potential residents.
In conclusion, Sky View RV & Mobile Home Park at 8431 State St, Sandy, UT, presents a unique proposition for individuals and families searching for long-term RV or mobile home living solutions in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. Its advantageous location offers access to both natural beauty and urban amenities. While positive experiences highlight a welcoming and well-maintained environment with accessible management, prospective residents should be aware of and inquire about concerns raised in some reviews regarding management style and rule enforcement to ensure it aligns with their expectations for a "home away from home."

Sky View RV & Mobile Home Park Reviews
By far the least pleasant experience we’ve had in any campground, as well as most expensive. She has had no less than 7 visitors leases terminated (we were informed by neighbors), gossips about previous guests, knocks on doors at any hour. We are both professional adults under the age of 30 and evidently we are not appealing tenants due to that. She lied to us about previous tenant information, painted in a way to enforce a narrative of imposed rules that aren’t clearly stated on the lease. We were informed by neighbors she disliked our decorative plants that were intentionally planted, built, and planned. She threatened eviction after a simple conversation, we attempted to have reasonable conversation with her and she would act as if everything was fine, so we naturally carried on with day to day life. Only to hear from neighbors she wanted to kick us out. By far the least professional, respectful, or rational living situation we’ve had the misfortune of planning on calling home. We watered our neighbors lawns for them, attended to our elderly neighbor across the street, ripped all weeds out of our lawn and watered OVER the mandatory times per week and somehow she still took a disliking from us.Nightmare is an understatement.
Oct 29, 2022 · brooke waszWhat a great location! The manager Tammy is absolutely fabulous! She is friendly, kind, and very helpful! Not to mention if there is anything you need she is very accessible and promptly gets back to you. We have been very pleased to have a beautiful, clean, quiet, place to call our home away from home! Salt Lake is a tough place to find a long term RV space for a big rig! We love it here! I highly recommend it!
Jul 07, 2021 · Lea Willer880 bucks a month to park your rig. No laundry room or any amenities. The property managers only job is overseeing this small park, and she lives on site, so she takes it very personal and will come knock on your door at anytime for anything. Lots of sketchy people walking by. My neighbors and I both had our bikes stolen. Loud street noise from state street. Mandated lawn watering but no hose or sprinkler provided. So many box elder bugs they cover anything left outside and have even made their way inside my camper. Decent water pressure unless there's no water at all that day. The ONLY good thing about this park is it's location.

May 02, 2021 · Shane MorganSkyview Mobile home park is a nice place to live. The location makes it easy to get to places with quick freeway access and State street right there. The neighbors are friendly and no drama. I had a wonderful little garden spot that I grew tomatoes.Tammy the manager is easy to talk to and fun to work with. She keeps the park in great condition and takes any complaint seriously. I have moved out of state and will miss my spot there!
