Skyview Terrace Mobile Home Introduce
For individuals seeking "RV parks near me" with a long-term perspective or those considering a mobile home community in Foresthill, California, Skyview Terrace Mobile Home, situated at 21200 Todd Valley Rd, presents a community with mixed reviews regarding resident experiences. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based on the limited information available from online reviews, highlighting both the positive aspects and significant concerns raised by residents. Potential residents or long-term RVers should carefully consider these contrasting perspectives.
One reviewer expresses a highly positive sentiment about living at Skyview Terrace Mobile Home. They state, "My family and I LOVE living here! It’s super quiet for most of the year except when all the neighborhood kids come out to play which I love to see!" This paints a picture of a generally tranquil environment, appreciated by those seeking peace and quiet. The exception, the sound of children playing, is viewed positively by this reviewer, indicating a family-friendly atmosphere where children are active and visible. This could be a significant draw for families with young children or those who enjoy the vibrancy of a community with kids.
The same positive reviewer also commends the park's management, describing the park manager as "super awesome and sweet as well!" Positive feedback about the manager often reflects a well-run community where residents feel supported and valued. The reviewer concludes by stating, "We couldn’t ask for a better place to live!" This strong endorsement suggests that for some residents, Skyview Terrace Mobile Home offers an exceptional living experience.
However, a starkly contrasting review presents serious and deeply concerning allegations regarding the park's management and its impact on a long-term resident. This reviewer states that they "Lived in Skyview terrace since I was a kid" but subsequently "lost my home due to management not knowing her job." This is a severe accusation, suggesting potential mismanagement that had significant negative consequences for a resident's housing situation.
The reviewer further details a troubling experience involving a court case, alleging that "the park attorney didn't even know I gave her 4,000 dollars, nor did she tell her attorney about the rent relief program that I learned about through her." This raises serious questions about the competence and communication of the park's legal representation and, by extension, potentially the management's handling of resident financial matters. The fact that the $4,000 was reportedly returned only when legal action was being taken for a lesser amount adds to the concerning narrative.
Another significant allegation is that the park brought an attorney to a civil case involving less than $10,000, which the reviewer claims is not permitted. This suggests a potentially aggressive or inappropriate legal approach by the park management. The reviewer then states, "Now they are saying they sold my home but can't find lein sale so I can't sell in myself in which I have a buyer." This incredibly serious claim implies a highly problematic situation regarding the ownership and transfer of a resident's mobile home, potentially preventing the resident from selling their property.
The concluding remark, "Thank you Skyview terrace moblie home park," is delivered with obvious sarcasm, underscoring the profound dissatisfaction and negative experience of this long-term resident.
Based on these two reviews, the experience of living at Skyview Terrace Mobile Home appears to be highly variable. One resident reports a quiet, family-friendly environment with an "awesome" manager, while another details a deeply distressing experience involving alleged mismanagement, legal issues, and the loss of their home. This stark contrast makes it challenging to provide a definitive assessment of the park.
Information regarding the environment beyond the "super quiet" description in one review is limited. The presence of neighborhood children playing suggests an outdoor space where kids can be active. The overall aesthetic and maintenance of the park are not described in either review.
Details about services and features are also absent. There is no mention of the availability or quality of RV hookups (water, electricity, sewage), laundry facilities, restrooms, recreational areas, or pet policies. For individuals considering Skyview Terrace Mobile Home as one of their "RV parks near me" for a long-term stay, these are crucial details that would need to be obtained directly from the park management.
Similarly, there is no information provided about any promotional offers or the cost of lot rentals for mobile homes or RV spaces. Interested parties would need to contact the park directly to inquire about these details.
Given the serious allegations in one of the reviews, potential residents or long-term RVers should exercise significant caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering Skyview Terrace Mobile Home. This could include seeking additional reviews or information from other sources, contacting local consumer protection agencies, and potentially visiting the park to assess the environment and speak with current residents (if possible).
The contrasting experiences highlight the importance of looking beyond a single positive or negative review and attempting to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the community and its management practices. The severe nature of the claims in the negative review warrants careful consideration and investigation.
In conclusion, Skyview Terrace Mobile Home in Foresthill, CA, appears to be a community that elicits strongly differing opinions from its residents. While one reviewer praises its quiet, family-friendly atmosphere and "awesome" manager, another recounts a deeply troubling experience involving alleged mismanagement, legal issues, and the loss of their home. Due to this significant discrepancy and the severity of the allegations in the negative review, individuals searching for "RV parks near me" for a longer stay or those considering mobile home living in Foresthill should approach Skyview Terrace Mobile Home with caution and seek substantial additional information before making any decisions. Contacting the park directly at (530) 367-2218 or +1 530-367-2218 for further information is essential, but corroborating these details with other sources is strongly recommended.

Apr 22, 2025 · Mylee NapolesLived in Skyview terrace since I was a kid now I've lost my home due to management not knowing her job, went to court the park attorney didn't even know I gave her 4,000 dollars, nor did she tell her attorney about the rent relief program that I learned about through her. She returned my 4,000 dollars when they were sueing me for less than. Also just so you know if u ever have a civil case less than 10,000 dollars they are not allowed to bring an attorney but they did. Aug 10, 2024 · Kassieann Renee BaumgarnerI’ve lived here for 5 years now. Both Carrie (previous manager) and Michelle (current manager) did and do a wonderful job to maintain this park and take care of all of us residents. Beautiful scenery, excellent place to have children, great weather even in the winter. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.
Feb 20, 2023 · Delilah PalenGreat kids, good families animal lovers, older people friendly, school bused to a safe place.
Oct 02, 2024 · Victoria StephensI love the community here. The management is wonderful and does a great job with maintenance around the park. Carrie handles all paperwork from Bill paying to helping people save money on the PGE bill. It's a great place to live.
