Snowbird South RV Park Introduce
Looking for exceptional 'RV parks near me' that combine natural beauty with affordability in Central Florida? Snowbird South RV Park, located at 6914 SE 77th Dr, Center Hill, FL, might be the perfect destination for your next RV adventure. This park has garnered attention for its picturesque environment and budget-friendly rates, making it an attractive option for both short and potentially long-term stays. Let's delve into what Snowbird South RV Park offers, based on available customer feedback.
One enthusiastic reviewer highlights the park's scenic appeal, noting it as "the most scenic" among numerous options in the area. The presence of a pond, woods, and a creek offers residents and visitors ample opportunities for leisurely strolls and immersion in nature. This natural landscape provides a tranquil backdrop for your RV experience, setting Snowbird South apart for those who appreciate outdoor beauty.
For pet owners, particularly dog lovers, Snowbird South RV Park appears to be a welcoming haven. The same reviewer raves about "the largest dog park that I've ever seen," suggesting an exceptional space for furry companions to run and play freely. This significant amenity can be a major draw for RVers traveling with dogs, providing a dedicated and spacious area for their pets' exercise and enjoyment.
Beyond the natural environment and pet-friendly features, the sense of community and management can significantly impact the overall experience at an RV park. The positive feedback regarding the park managers, Teresa and Wendel, describes them as "patient, friendly, and accommodating." Such positive interactions with park management can contribute greatly to a comfortable and stress-free stay, making visitors feel welcome and well-cared for.
The presence of a clubhouse and organized activities like BINGO suggests that Snowbird South RV Park fosters a sense of community and provides opportunities for social interaction among guests. This can be particularly appealing for longer-term residents or those looking to connect with fellow travelers. A clubhouse often serves as a central hub for activities and gatherings, enhancing the social aspect of the RV park experience.
While the park offers a rural feel, its location still provides convenient access to nearby towns such as Leesburg, Wildwood, Bushnell, and Webster. This balance of peaceful countryside and proximity to urban amenities allows visitors to enjoy the tranquility of nature while still having access to shopping, dining, and local attractions.
However, it's essential to consider all feedback to gain a balanced perspective. Another reviewer described the stay as "quiet" with everyone keeping to themselves and noted the location as being "out in the middle of nowhere" with "no real attraction to the place." This suggests that while some appreciate the peace and quiet, others might find the location less engaging if they prefer more on-site activities or immediate access to tourist attractions.
Furthermore, the second review raises a significant concern regarding a security deposit. The reviewer recounts a negative experience involving difficulty in contacting management regarding an early departure and a subsequent dispute over the return of the deposit, ultimately claiming the deposit was unfairly withheld. This feedback is critical for potential guests to consider and perhaps discuss with the management prior to booking, particularly regarding deposit policies and communication procedures.

Snowbird South RV Park Reviews
My wife and I chose this RV park after doing lots of research. There are plenty of parks in that area, but the Snowbird South RV Park is the most scenic and it's one of the least expensive parks. My wife and I loved walking around the pond, through the woods, and along the creek. My two dogs loved running around the largest dog park that I've ever seen. My neighbors were all really friendly and quiet. The couple who manage this park, Teresa and Wendel were so patient, friendly, and accommodating. It was much appreciated. We also really liked playing BINGO in the club house. Although it feels very rural there, you're still close to fun towns like Leesburg, Wildwood, Bushnell, and Webster. Overall, I had a wonderful time during our 2 month stay and I highly recommend that you give this RV park a chance. You won't be disappointed!
Mar 26, 2025 · Jeffrey BermanIt was not a terrible stay quiet. Everybody kept to themselves no real attraction to the place either out in the middle of nowhere. The thing that gets me was something as simple as a deposit that was discussed to be returned at the end of the stay .. ended up staying 3 of the 4 weeks I paid upfront I tried reaching out to the owners/management several times in that third week trying to inform them I was going to be leaving early. They did not even bother to answer my calls or call back. Finally I was able to speak to somebody three weeks later, I called out of the blue after sending several emails with no response. I got somebody on the phone to discuss my deposit. I was informed that my electric was going to be taken out of it. I’ve had it hooked up for months at a time before so I know approximately the usage of my RV they’re claiming it was $85 of use in three weeks it was actually cool in Florida during the time period so nor heat nor air conditioner was used to an over extent to create that type of bill, but I agreed with their billing and was informed that I would get my $15 back within the next few days and it’s going on several weeks later again and they decide not to answer the phone or return emails so they had no intent on returning any of that money, these places should not be able to call them a deposit and keep your money. I did nothing wrong. My site was cleaned up thoroughly. I caused no problems. No complaints but yet they still decided that I did not deserve my deposit back after telling me they were going to send it to me. Stay there at your own risk. Just know you won’t get your deposit. Return returned.
Feb 01, 2025 · Eric ColemanLove this place. The Rv spaces are large and it is very quiet here. Just the way we like it
Mar 06, 2025 · tracy peersA small, tucked away, quiet campground, with mostly live in folks. It's pretty far from anything, not very scenic, but peaceful. I did find the bugs to be rather intrusive...roaches, mice, and crazy amounts of fire ants, however as stated this is mid fl summer country living
Jun 30, 2024 · Venture LoverVery friendly tenants that camp there they were actually very helpful. The guy at the front desk knows the people in the park personally he is involved in the pleasant ambiance of the place. I was impressed.
