Southbound RV Park Introduce
When searching for "RV parks near me" in the Stillwater, Oklahoma area, Southbound RV Park, located at 606 E 32nd Ave, Stillwater, OK 74074, USA, is one option that may appear. They can be contacted at (405) 258-8444 or +1 405-258-8444 for inquiries regarding availability and other details.
Based on the limited customer feedback available online, experiences at Southbound RV Park appear to be significantly negative, highlighting several potential drawbacks for prospective guests. One reviewer recounts an initial issue upon arrival, where a staff member seemed unaware of their prepaid reservation, causing initial confusion and questioning. This suggests potential issues with reservation management or communication within the park staff.
The same reviewer also mentions ongoing construction or maintenance activities at the RV park, noting that "workmen and trucks working on the RV park were a little too much, no peace." This indicates a potentially disruptive environment during the day due to noise and activity related to park operations or improvements. Additionally, they describe the pull-through sites as being arranged "back to back" and the parking areas as having "gravel throughout," which might affect the ease of maneuvering larger RVs and the overall aesthetic appeal of the sites.
Furthermore, this review notes that the park was "noisy at night," which could be a significant concern for travelers seeking a restful overnight stay. The reviewer also suggests that a "comparable price should be $25," implying that the actual price charged was perceived as too high for the quality and experience offered.
Another highly critical review paints a very unfavorable picture of Southbound RV Park. The reviewer uses strong and negative language, describing the park as looking like "crackhead heaven" and mentioning "burnt down rvs," which raises serious concerns about the park's overall condition, safety, and management. Such descriptions suggest a potentially neglected or unsafe environment that may not be suitable for RV travelers.
This negative review further elaborates on several specific issues. The cost of water is described as "so expensive you can afford nothing else," which could indicate unusually high utility charges for guests. Trash disposal is mentioned as costing $55 per month with only a once-weekly pickup "if lucky," suggesting an expensive and potentially unreliable service. The reviewer also points out a lack of essential amenities, stating "no payment," "no shelter," "no extras," and "no on site mrg" (presumably meaning no on-site management), which could lead to difficulties in addressing issues or accessing necessary services.
The presence of a "dump behind the residence" is also mentioned, which could indicate poor sanitation practices or an unsightly environment. The reviewer notes a large number of cats and a minimum number of children in the park. While the presence of older, quiet neighbors is mentioned positively, this is overshadowed by the numerous negative aspects described. Finally, the park is described as being "TO far out from any store, grocery etc.," indicating a potentially inconvenient location for accessing essential supplies and services, despite being in the Highland Park school district.
Considering these two available reviews, the overall impression of Southbound RV Park is overwhelmingly negative. Both reviewers highlight significant concerns regarding the park's environment, management, amenities, noise levels, and value for money. The strong language and specific issues raised in the second review, such as the description of burnt-down RVs and the high cost and infrequent service of trash pickup, are particularly alarming.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" on platforms listing such services, Southbound RV Park appears to be an option that warrants extreme caution based on the publicly available feedback. The issues raised extend beyond mere inconvenience to potential concerns about safety, sanitation, and financial value. Prospective guests should be aware of the reported lack of on-site management, which could make it difficult to resolve any problems that may arise during their stay.
Given the severity of the negative feedback, it would be highly advisable for anyone considering Southbound RV Park to seek alternative "RV parks near me" in the Stillwater, OK area. If this park remains a consideration, it would be prudent to seek significantly more recent reviews from various sources to ascertain if any improvements have been made to address the serious issues highlighted in the existing feedback. Direct contact with the park management to inquire about and verify the current conditions and policies would also be a necessary step before making any commitment.
In conclusion, the limited online information for Southbound RV Park paints a concerning picture. The reported issues with reservation handling, ongoing construction noise, nighttime noise, potentially high pricing, and, more seriously, the descriptions of the park's condition and lack of amenities strongly suggest that this may not be a desirable option for RV travelers seeking a comfortable, safe, and well-managed stay in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Local users are advised to carefully consider these points and explore other "RV parks near me" that may offer a more positive and reliable experience.

Southbound RV Park Reviews
I stayed one night. When I was setting up, prepaid site, a young lady drove up wondering what I was doing there. Asked if I had a reservation...then found it and said she thought it was for the next day. Workmen and trucks working on the RV park were a little too much, no peace. Pull through sites are back to back. Gravel parking throughout. Noisy at night. Comparable price should be $25.
Mar 08, 2023 · Luann J KellyLooks like crackhead heaven. Burnt down rvs! No way! What a joke! Water so expensive you can afford nothing else. Trash is 55 bucks month. Once week if lucky, they pick up. To pricy. No payment. No shelter. No extras. No on site mrg. Dump behind the residence. Lots cats. Kids minimum. Established neighbors wonderful when quiet..... TO far out from any store, grocery etc. Highland park school district. Lots of older people so quiet
Aug 22, 2024 · Leslie GillpatrickI spent a few weeks here this fall and it was absolutely fantastic! The park is clean and quiet, it has full hookups, and the staff have been wonderful. No Laundry or WiFi but if you want left to your own peace and quiet this is the place. Only 1 mile south of Stillwater had no trouble getting deliveries, only a few minutes from Spin City, all in all a great time and a great place to stay. Thank You Sarah, see you guys next time.
Oct 29, 2022 · Rog Mthe people here in this park sit here and lie and let these people get away with it I think they like to bully . Me And my wife and she is on oxygen she cannot take that kind of stress and harassing this is the Worst campground we’ ever stayed in. We have traveled through 50 states over last 4 years and 2 months and this campground is a dump. It looks nothing like the pictures and there isn’t even A office. And they put their camera facing my front door. That’s our privacyLet me tell you something I am more than a man you think I am you would never take that away what you are just a fool PS let me tell you This God is more powerful than all of us you would never take that love in my heart Away I am a lot stronger than that we are veterans we will 🇺🇸stand tall 🇺🇸
Aug 20, 2023 · Bill P “Wild Bill Cowboy”Stayed here for almost two months in the fall. No complaints at all. Management was great to work with , very nice and seems to have a vision to keep improving the park. Park was overall quiet and would stay there again. Location to Stillwater is great as well.
