Stephens Bay RV Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" that offer a unique blend of lakeside recreation and a welcoming atmosphere? Consider Stephens Bay RV Park, located at 519 Co Rd 237, Eastland, TX 76448, USA. This park appears to offer a picturesque setting with waterfront access, providing opportunities for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. You can reach them for inquiries and reservations at (254) 631-9766 or +1 254-631-9766. Based on the available customer reviews, Stephens Bay RV Park presents a mixed picture, highlighting both positive aspects like its location and amenities, as well as potential concerns regarding management practices.
The environment at Stephens Bay RV Park seems to be a significant draw for many visitors. One reviewer specifically mentioned it as a "great little place to swim, fish and kayak." This strongly suggests that the park is situated on or very near a body of water suitable for these recreational activities. The allure of waterfront access can be a major factor for those seeking "RV parks near me" that offer more than just a place to park their RV. Imagine waking up to the serene views of the water, spending your days fishing or kayaking, and enjoying a refreshing swim right from the park's premises. The natural beauty of the location likely contributes to a relaxing and enjoyable stay for those who appreciate lakeside activities.
A key feature highlighted in one of the positive reviews is the availability of "premium sites" that are "perfect, right on the water." These waterfront sites would undoubtedly offer an enhanced camping experience, providing direct access to the water and potentially stunning views. For RVers looking for the best spots with prime locations, these premium sites at Stephens Bay RV Park could be particularly appealing. It suggests that the park has different tiers of RV sites, with some offering more desirable locations and potentially additional amenities (though these are not specified).
The owners of Stephens Bay RV Park are described by one reviewer as "friendly and obliging." Positive interactions with park management can significantly impact the overall guest experience, making a stay more comfortable and enjoyable. A friendly and obliging owner can be helpful with check-in, providing information about the area, and addressing any needs or concerns that guests may have. This personal touch can contribute to a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere within the park.
Another notable feature mentioned in the positive review is that "WiFi is included." In today's connected world, reliable internet access is often a significant factor for travelers. The inclusion of WiFi as a standard amenity adds value to a stay at Stephens Bay RV Park, allowing guests to stay connected with family and friends, work remotely if needed, or simply enjoy online entertainment.
However, it is crucial to consider the information presented in the other review, which raises some serious concerns. This reviewer, who states they lived at the park for two years, describes a situation where a new pad site was being built in what used to be their front yard upon returning from vacation. The lack of communication from the owner, David, regarding this significant change is troubling. Furthermore, the offer to double the rent if the reviewer wanted to rent both spaces appears to be an unsatisfactory response to the disruption of their living space. This review suggests potential issues with communication, transparency, and possibly the management's consideration for long-term residents.
Given this conflicting information, it is essential for potential visitors to proceed with caution and to seek more detailed information directly from Stephens Bay RV Park before making a reservation, especially for longer stays. It would be wise to inquire about the layout of the park, the proximity of sites to each other and to any ongoing construction, and the park's policies regarding changes to existing sites or the addition of new ones.
While the positive review highlights the appealing waterfront location and the friendly owners, the negative review raises red flags about communication and management practices. It's possible that experiences at the park can vary, or that certain situations are handled differently depending on the circumstances. However, the discrepancy in these accounts warrants careful consideration by prospective guests.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews. To learn about any special offers, discounts for extended stays, or seasonal promotions, it would be best to contact Stephens Bay RV Park directly using the phone numbers listed. They would be able to provide the most up-to-date information on pricing and any incentives they might be offering.
In conclusion, Stephens Bay RV Park offers a potentially attractive option for those searching for "RV parks near me" with waterfront access in Eastland, Texas. The opportunity to swim, fish, and kayak directly from the park, along with the availability of premium waterfront sites and included WiFi, are significant advantages. The mention of friendly and obliging owners in one review also suggests a positive aspect of the park's hospitality. However, the serious concerns raised in the other review regarding communication and management practices cannot be ignored. Potential guests should weigh these points carefully and are strongly advised to contact the park directly to gather more information and clarify any potential concerns before making a reservation. A thorough inquiry will help ensure that Stephens Bay RV Park meets your expectations for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

Stephens Bay RV Park Reviews
I have lived here for 2 years without issue. I came home from vacation to find a new pad site being built in what used to be my front yard. David the owner did not say a word, he did offer to double my rent if I wanted to rent both spaces.Proceed with caution.
Aug 07, 2024 · Aimee CoffeyGreat little place to swim, fish and kayak. The premium site was perfect, right on the water. The owners were friendly and obliging. And the WiFi is included. Will definitely be back.
Dec 26, 2019 · Lori RunyonLegend has it they still haven’t mowed their grass. I see the comments about full timers mowing their own. What are we supposed to do? Suffer? Never had ants at any other park country or not we sure have them now. Couple on the end close to the park host will fight & argue until 3am. If you like your sleep don’t park too close.
Jul 01, 2024 · Courtney HaffWe love it out here. I saw a comment about ants and tall grass, well it's the country and no matter where you live you will have ants unless you know how to get rid of them. We had ants months ago for about two weeks, bought spray from Walmart and sprayed inside and out plus got stuff for the yard. We haven't had ants in 4 months. Plus we are full timers and we mow our own yard. The manager is always here, there is an office, anyone who has been here knows that any and all issues are quickly addressed. We plan on staying for a long time
Oct 31, 2023 · Tiffani SainWe had read good reviews so had high expectations. We were disappointed the minute we drove in and there was no office to check in. I had to call someone and ask where to park and then text someone for the wifi password. The park needed to be mowed. Also in the 5 years we have been full timers, we had ants. I had to throw out some things in my pantry and had quite a mess trying to find them all. The day we pulled out, there was a huge amount of ants climbing up our leveling jack. Was really glad to get out of there; not worth the money.
