You can contact them at (972) 564-3149 or via mobile at +1 972-564-3149 for inquiries. While our platform category focuses on RV parks, understanding the broader options available, including mobile home parks with RV facilities, can be beneficial for those seeking various types of longer-term or temporary housing solutions. It's important to consider all available information, including recent resident feedback, when evaluating such communities.
Summer Haven Mobile Home Park and RV appears to cater to both permanent residents in mobile homes and temporary visitors with RVs. This dual function is not uncommon, as some communities offer a mix of housing options to meet different needs. However, it's crucial to note the recent reviews from residents, which present a mixed picture of the community and its management.
One concerning review from a former resident details significant issues with property maintenance over a six-year period. The resident reported repeated flooding around their home due to unresolved drainage problems, despite numerous attempts to communicate with the management via emails and calls. This lack of action on reported maintenance issues raises concerns about the responsiveness of the management to resident needs. Additionally, the reviewer recounts a dispute regarding their lease-to-buy agreement and the handling of their move-out notice and security deposit, alleging deceptive practices and anticipating legal action. This feedback strongly suggests potential issues with management practices and financial transactions within the community, particularly concerning lease agreements and security deposits.
In contrast, a more recent review from someone whose mother moved into the mobile home park side two months prior offers a somewhat more neutral perspective. This reviewer notes that the mobile home park is "not bad at all." However, they specifically point out areas needing improvement on the "RV side" of the property. The primary concern raised is the condition of the roads and the RV site pads, particularly in wet conditions. The reviewer mentions that the RV areas experience standing water and become very muddy when it rains or even just when there is water present. Despite this significant issue with the RV area's infrastructure, the reviewer concludes that the community is "not not bad for the area," suggesting that while there are problems, the overall environment might be acceptable relative to other options.
Considering these two reviews, it's evident that there are potential challenges associated with Summer Haven Mobile Home Park and RV. The serious allegations of neglected maintenance and deceptive practices from a former mobile home resident should be carefully considered by anyone contemplating a longer-term stay or a lease agreement within the community. The more recent feedback highlighting infrastructure issues on the RV side, specifically regarding drainage and muddy conditions, is also a significant concern for RV travelers seeking a comfortable and well-maintained site.
Given this information, it is essential for prospective residents or RVers to conduct thorough due diligence before making any commitments to Summer Haven Mobile Home Park and RV. This should include a direct visit to the property to assess the conditions firsthand, particularly the roads and RV site pads, especially if there has been recent rain. It would also be prudent to speak with current residents, if possible, to gain a broader understanding of their experiences with the management and the overall living conditions in both the mobile home and RV sections of the community.
When contacting Summer Haven Mobile Home Park and RV at (972) 564-3149, prospective residents and RVers should ask specific questions related to the issues raised in the reviews. For those interested in mobile home living, inquiries should focus on the management's responsiveness to maintenance requests, the terms of lease or purchase agreements, and the policies regarding security deposits and move-out procedures. It would be wise to seek clarification on how drainage issues are addressed and what steps are taken to maintain the grounds and infrastructure.
For RVers considering a stay at Summer Haven, it is crucial to inquire about the condition of the RV site pads, the quality of the roads within the RV area, and whether any improvements are planned or underway to address the standing water and mud problems. Information about the availability and functionality of essential RV amenities such as utility hookups (water, electricity, sewer), restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities should also be obtained. Additionally, it would be helpful to ask about the layout of the RV sites, their size, and any other features offered.
Promotional information for Summer Haven Mobile Home Park and RV is not provided in the available reviews. It would be advisable to inquire directly with the management about any current specials, discounts for longer stays (for RVers), or incentives for new mobile home residents. Understanding the full cost of living or staying at the community, including lot rental fees, utility charges, and any other associated costs, is essential for making an informed decision.
In conclusion, Summer Haven Mobile Home Park and RV in Forney, Texas, offers a dual option for both mobile home living and RV stays. However, recent resident feedback indicates potential concerns regarding property maintenance, management practices, and infrastructure issues, particularly on the RV side. Prospective residents and RVers should carefully consider these points and conduct thorough due diligence, including a site visit and direct communication with the management and possibly current residents, before committing to this community. Addressing the issues raised in the reviews directly with the management is crucial to ensure a clear understanding of the current conditions and policies at Summer Haven Mobile Home Park and RV.

Summer Haven Mobile Home Park and RV Reviews
My lawn would flood 4 inches under and around my home for 6 years and they never attempted to do anything despite numerous emails and calls for them to repair the issue. I was in a lease to with option to buy and always had issue there until I decided to put in a 60 day notice which they did not acknowledge until I emailed them after moving out. I will eventually end up in court with this deceptive organization. Do not move here you will loose your deposit no matter what, in my case $3000.
Oct 02, 2024 · Desmond EverettMy mom just moved in this part 2 months ago. Not bad at all. They just need to fix the roads on the RV side and get some gravel hauled in on the R. Vsite pads when it rains or just water. Standing everywhere. It really muddy other than that not not bad for the area
Feb 11, 2024 · Milas MSince current owner purchased property, rent goes up every year. Most communication is in the form of form letters threatening fines for an endless number of "violations". Basically, living a normal life in your own home is a violation. Worse than an HOA. Regular management turnover. Maybe they get tired of being nazis. Most neighbors are pretty nice. It doesn't hurt to know Spanish.
Aug 04, 2022 · Vito CorleoneIf I could give them negative reviews I would. They never answer their phone, they don’t give accurate information about the lease, I had a guest injured on their property and they did nothing about it. I have been trying to get a hold of them for two weeks to give my notice and I’ve emailed and no one has answered. Just dont.
Jan 31, 2022 · kira smithThis place and all their other locations are a dump. To get qualified you have to jump through hoops. Don’t even get me started on the gal named Marina. She thinks she knows everything but she’s dumber than a box of rocks. I don’t see how this place stays in business because they can’t even keep staff. Now they’ve started towing vehicles and it’s out of control.
