While the campground itself receives high marks for its amenities and atmosphere, some reviewers have highlighted aspects of the entrance that potential visitors should be aware of. Notably, the speed bumps on the access road have been described as excessive and potentially damaging, so caution is advised when entering and exiting the park. Additionally, the turn into the gated entrance is noted to be tight, particularly for very large rigs. However, those towing vehicles, including a 40’ 5th wheel mentioned in a review, have reported navigating it successfully by proceeding slowly.
One camper specifically mentioned the narrowness of the driveway, describing it as smaller than a single lane. This can create challenges when entering or exiting, especially if another RV is trying to pass. One reviewer even shared their experience of having their children walk to the entrance to ensure a clear exit, highlighting the potential difficulty of maneuvering larger vehicles if encountering oncoming traffic. While these entrance concerns exist, many reviewers still found the overall experience at Sweetwater Valley Park to be positive.
The newer section of Sweetwater Valley Park has been particularly well-received, with guests expressing their appreciation for the landscaping between the lots, which promises increased privacy over time. This investment in the aesthetics and comfort of the sites demonstrates the park's commitment to providing a quality experience for its visitors. The positive feedback regarding the internal systems and the overall location further underscores the appeal of this RV park.

Sweetwater Valley Park Reviews
Watch the speed bumps! Lovely campground a few miles off the interstate. Easy access to large, newly added pull thru spots. Spacious spots, enough nature, but enough clear sky for the satellite internet to work. Landscaped between spots. Slightly terraced. Full hookup. As mentioned by other campers, the road in is tight and the speed bumps are terrible. They should grind them down or take them out. So excessive they could cause damage. The turn into the gated entrance would be very tight for a big rig, but anything towing is okay. We have a 40’ 5th wheel and had no trouble. Just go slow.Enjoyed our brief, overnight stay. Really nice spots.
Dec 21, 2024 · Christy ShetlerWe stayed in the new part and it was great! Loved how they had landscaping in between each lot, will be nice for privacy when it grows up a little more! Only reason that I'm not leaving 5 star is because of the entrance--After driving several hours a *scary* entrance is just too much. Am I going to hit all of these guard posts turning in? Could they widen the driveway, remove a few trees along the way and move the gates wider just a few feet? The driveway is smaller than a single lane. When we left I sent the kids walking down to the entrance so they could call and let me know that no one else was trying to enter while I was exiting. Towing a vehicle makes it impossible to back up if we encountered another rig coming in while we were exiting and it's far too narrow for two to pass each other. I really hope that Santa brings them a concrete grinder for Christmas so that they can minimize those steep speed bumps that are totally unnecessary (because the hills are so steep anyway) and smooth out all of the terrible bumps in the black top. But the rest of their systems were great and location was nice!
Nov 29, 2024 · April BradleyThis hidden gem is a must visit! We have visited rv parks all across this part of Georgia, and I have to say this park is by far our favorite. I was hesitant after reading reviews, but as a small business owner we decided to check it out for ourselves. The bathrooms are cleaned daily and available 24/7. Laundry facility is large and stocked and clean. We haven't had one single bad encounter and the lady who handles the reservations is prompt and extremely courteous. The entrance road is narrow, however is not hard to access or a nuisance. Please give this gem a try I promise you wont be let down!
