Pine Lake Community Introduce
For individuals seeking "rv parks near me" in the Douglasville, Georgia area that might accommodate mobile homes or offer long-term RV residency, Pine Lake Community, located at 6266 Dorsett Shoals Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135, USA, is a potential listing that may appear. However, it is critical for prospective residents to approach this community with significant caution due to concerning feedback found in online reviews. These reviews highlight serious issues with the management and application processes, which could directly impact the experience of potential residents.
The limited reviews available for Pine Lake Community paint a picture of unprofessionalism and significant challenges in dealing with the management. One reviewer expresses extreme dissatisfaction, stating that their application, submitted after the 20th of April, had not yielded results even after multiple visits to the office in the following weeks. This individual reports that the office was frequently unattended during advertised office hours and suggests that their calls were being deliberately avoided once their number was recognized. The reviewer goes so far as to speculate that the community might be taking application fees without actually filling vacant spots, pointing to multiple apparently unoccupied trailers within the park. This raises serious questions about the efficiency and integrity of the application process and the management's responsiveness to prospective residents.
Adding to these concerns, the same reviewer indicates that the prolonged delay in processing their application forced them to incur an additional month's rent at their current residence while awaiting an answer that never came. This highlights a potential financial burden and significant inconvenience caused by the alleged delays and lack of communication from Pine Lake Community's management. The reviewer concludes their feedback with strong negative sentiments, urging others not to waste their time, money, or effort on this community and reporting their intention to contact the Better Business Bureau (BBB) due to these issues.
Another review echoes the theme of unprofessional and disrespectful management, specifically mentioning an individual named Ron or Derone. This reviewer describes this person as the "rudest person ever" and suggests they might be the owner, given the apparent lack of other staff and the refusal to escalate concerns. The reviewer strongly advises against wasting money on application fees, predicting regret due to the absence of customer service and the negative attitude encountered in the office. They further corroborate the issues of the office being frequently closed, phones going unanswered, and the mailbox being full, painting a picture of significant mismanagement and lack of accessibility for both prospective and current residents.
Based on these severely negative reviews, it is impossible to provide an objective description of the positive services or features of Pine Lake Community. The feedback overwhelmingly focuses on the negative experiences encountered during the application process and interactions with the management. There is no information provided regarding typical RV park or mobile home community amenities such as utility hookups, laundry facilities, recreational areas, or community events. The absence of such details, overshadowed by the reported management issues, suggests that these aspects may either be substandard, poorly communicated, or irrelevant in comparison to the difficulties faced by those trying to become residents.
Similarly, the reviews offer no positive insights into the environment of Pine Lake Community. There are no descriptions of the landscaping, cleanliness, noise levels, or overall atmosphere of the park. The focus is solely on the frustrating and unprofessional interactions with the management and the problematic application process. Therefore, potential residents cannot glean any information about the living environment from these accounts. The lack of any positive commentary in this regard is also concerning, as it suggests that the primary issues overshadow any potentially positive aspects of the community itself.
Given the nature of the available information, there is no promotional content to report. The reviews serve as stark warnings against engaging with Pine Lake Community due to alleged unprofessionalism, poor communication, and potentially unfair practices related to the application process. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) has also issued a rating for Pine Lake Community, indicating a "F" grade and a pattern of complaints, including failure to respond to one complaint and a total of five complaints filed against the business. This external validation of the negative feedback found in individual reviews further underscores the significant risks associated with this community.
In conclusion, for those searching for "rv parks near me" in Douglasville, GA, Pine Lake Community is an option that appears in listings. However, the available reviews paint a deeply concerning picture of unprofessional management, a flawed and lengthy application process, and a lack of customer service. The negative experiences reported by prospective residents, coupled with the BBB rating, serve as strong indicators that potential tenants should exercise extreme caution and thoroughly investigate these issues before considering Pine Lake Community as a place to reside. The lack of any positive information regarding amenities, environment, or services, overshadowed by the significant management concerns, makes it difficult to recommend this community based on the currently available feedback. Prospective residents are strongly advised to seek alternative options for RV parks or mobile home communities in the Douglasville area.

Pine Lake Community Reviews
SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I put in my application on the after the 20th of April my application results are STILL not back. I've gone multiple times in the past few weeks to the office and most of the time no one's there during office hours. Seems like he Dodges your calls if he knows your number. At this point I think they just take people's money and never fill the spots because if you drive through there there's multiple trailers that are open I honestly don't know.. if I was the owner I would fire the current manager cause he's not doing his job AT ALL. I KNOW MY FIANCE AND I MAKE ENOUGH AND I KNOW WE BOTH PASSED BACKGROUND CHECKS SO THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR THIS TO TAKE THIS LONG. Had to pay another month's rent at my place just waiting on an answer which I still have not gotten.. SHAMEFUL 💯 WHAT IS HE DOING ALL DAY?? If you check the other reviews is obviously not helping the people that actually live there already sooo?? I'm contacting the BBB today 🤗 DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, OR EFFORT 🫠
May 08, 2025 · RayI wish I can give them a 0 star. The guy named Ron or Derone or whatever is very disrespectful, he is the rudest person ever, he must be the owner as he don’t have anyone else there and refuse to escalate, otherwise, like another review said, he should be terminated. Do not waste your money in application fees, YOU WILL REGRET IT. There is no customer service here and Ron in the office has a nasty attitude, we were trying to give them a chance. Look somewhere else. This guy is not capable to be working on that office and running things. They close most of the time, phones are not being answered and the mailbox is full. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
Apr 07, 2025 · Rosa AllicockMy kids father started renting here in the winter of 2024, after 3 weeks, heat wouldn't work, it's march 2025, still no heat. They didn't show up to court for him responding to not paying because he can't get anyone to come fix it. Noone is ever there to answer. Not to mention when he signed the lease, he took the kids over that night to see it, they took a few things. Next evening, when they went to stay, all the stuff they took were gone. Daughters pictures and drawings in the trash can, but her trophy and my all my sons 10 1/2 mens Jordan's were gone. AFTER getting the keys a maintenance man entered and I guess cleared what he assumed was left AFTER THE LEASE WAS SIGNED AND KEYS HANDED OVER, he went in and removed and kept whatever he found. My son never got his shoes back , and months later they found my daughters trophy. My sister in law across rhe street seen the maintenance man here that day. It has totally went down hill there over the years. Used to be nice. It's the owners, maintenance people , etc that are causing it do go to shit. The tenants and people are trying to get the assistance they r entitled to as renters and etc. People are scared to with hold rent and go to court, so it's getting over looked and passed by. Renters, yall have rights!!! Stand together and get what you are paying for. Do not keep paying , put that money away like ypu are paying and demand your residence be maintained! Respond and go to.court and speak up!!!! They are also required to keep the outside up, they don't do that either! They are required to have people come and treat for roaches etc, they don't do that! They allow the trash at the mail boxes to pile up which results to insects critters etc. Stand up!!!!! They can't keep pushing people out , and getting away with this. Someone has to be held accountable
Mar 25, 2025 · Kelley StricklandThey will not give you your deposit back and will insult you instead of helping you, they don’t fix any issues inside or outside the residence and sometimes they won’t even be in the office, don’t rent here!!Derone or whoever is in the office is very disrespectful
