Tanglewood Gardens RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Pensacola, Florida area, Tanglewood Gardens RV Park, located at 6530 N Palafox St, Pensacola, FL 32503, USA, presents a somewhat mixed picture based on the available online reviews. While one reviewer had a significantly negative experience related to a mobile home rental and interactions with the landlord, another reviewer found the RV park to be a great place, highlighting its quiet atmosphere, ample shade, and full hookup amenities. It is essential to consider both perspectives to form a balanced understanding of what Tanglewood Gardens RV Park might offer to RV travelers.
One reviewer recounted a deeply troubling experience that appears to be related to a mobile home tenancy at Tanglewood Gardens, rather than an RV stay. This individual details being removed from a lease at their boyfriend's request, despite their name being on the rent checks and being the sole employed party. They also describe the property they resided in as having minimal security (only standard lower locks, no deadbolt) and being infested with German cockroaches. This reviewer strongly advises against the property, rating it "10/10 do not recommend" and characterizing the landlord as "rude." They also mentioned a desire to pursue legal action if they had the financial means. While this review is severe, it seems focused on a specific rental situation within Tanglewood Gardens and may not directly reflect the experience of RV guests.
In stark contrast, another reviewer who stayed at Tanglewood Gardens RV Park found it to be a positive experience. They described the park as "great," "very quiet," and offering "lots of shade." These are significant advantages for RVers seeking a peaceful and comfortable environment, especially in the Florida heat. This reviewer also noted the availability of "full hook up, including tv and internet," which are valuable amenities for a convenient and enjoyable RV stay. The inclusion of TV hookup information, alongside internet, suggests comprehensive utility connections at the RV sites.
The positive reviewer also specifically mentioned the owner, June, as being "very accommodating." This speaks to good customer service and a willingness to assist guests. Additionally, they highlighted Dean, the manager and caretaker who was their next-door neighbor, as being "very friendly and helpful." The presence of an approachable and supportive on-site manager can greatly enhance the RV living experience, providing assistance and fostering a positive community feel. This reviewer stayed for six days and expressed a clear intention to "come back again," indicating a high level of satisfaction with their RV experience at Tanglewood Gardens.
Considering these two very different reviews, it is crucial for those searching for "RV parks near me" to focus on the feedback specifically related to the RV park aspect of Tanglewood Gardens. The positive review paints a picture of a quiet, shady environment with essential amenities like full hookups, including TV and internet, and accommodating management. These are key factors that many RV travelers prioritize when choosing a park.
The negative review, while concerning, appears to stem from a landlord-tenant dispute within a mobile home unit and issues related to the condition and security of that specific dwelling. While it does mention a rude landlord, this may or may not reflect the interactions RV guests would have with the management, especially given the positive experience reported by the other reviewer regarding June and Dean.
Based on the positive RV-specific feedback, the environment of Tanglewood Gardens RV Park can be characterized as quiet and offering ample shade, which is particularly desirable in the Florida climate. The presence of shade suggests mature trees within the park, contributing to a more pleasant and cooler outdoor living space for RVers. The quiet atmosphere is also a significant draw for those seeking a peaceful retreat.
The services offered at Tanglewood Gardens RV Park, according to one reviewer, include full hookups, which typically means connections for water, electricity (it would be beneficial to inquire about amperage), and sewer. The mention of "tv and internet" as part of the full hookup package is a notable feature, suggesting that these are readily available at the RV sites, potentially saving guests the hassle of setting up their own connections or relying on potentially less reliable park-wide WiFi. It is advisable for prospective RV guests to confirm the specifics of these hookups, such as the type and reliability of the internet service.
Features of Tanglewood Gardens RV Park, based on the positive review, include quiet surroundings, plenty of shade, and full hookup sites that include TV and internet access. The accommodating owner, June, and the friendly and helpful on-site manager, Dean, are also significant features that contribute to a positive guest experience. These personal touches in management can make a big difference in the overall comfort and satisfaction of RVers. While the negative review mentions a lack of security in a mobile home unit and a roach infestation, these issues were not mentioned in the context of the RV park itself.
Promotional information for Tanglewood Gardens RV Park, aimed at those searching for "RV parks near me," should highlight its key strengths as reported by the satisfied RV guest: the quiet and shady environment, the availability of full hookups including TV and internet, and the accommodating and friendly management (June and Dean). The park could market itself as a peaceful retreat in Pensacola with essential amenities for a comfortable stay. To address any potential concerns arising from the negative review (even though it seems unrelated to the RV park), the management might emphasize their commitment to maintaining a clean and well-managed RV environment and providing responsive service to their RV guests. Highlighting the positive interactions with June and Dean could also help reassure potential visitors.

In conclusion, Tanglewood Gardens RV Park in Pensacola, Florida, offers a potentially attractive option for those seeking "RV parks near me" with a quiet and shady environment, full hookups including TV and internet, and accommodating management. Tanglewood Gardens RV Park Reviews
My landlord took me off the lease at my boyfriend’s request even though all of the rent checks came from my name. I was employed, he was not. He was on drugs. I lost my home in a day, rent and a deposit from a home I had only moved into only 4 months before. We had minimal locks on our home, not deadbolt only the standard lower lock and it was roach infested with German cockroaches. 10/10 do not recommend. The landlord is also rude. If I had the money I’d take her to court :D

Feb 13, 2025 · Greg BettsHighly recommend this park, June the owner is a wonderful sweetheart, she's is more than fair, if you want a family rv stop this is the place, I've been here for over 2 years, I love the little community we have here
Apr 17, 2025 · Jeannie VidermanI just spent a few days here after attending Daytona Beach Bike Week. After a little confusion Dean was able to set me up for 3 days. This place is so beautiful with huge trees that provide shade. It's off the beaten path and very peaceful. There are train tracks that run behind it but they didn't bother me at all. I will definitely be staying here on my next trip to Pensacola! Thanks Dean for your hospitality! R
Mar 19, 2021 · rory olsonIf you don't care about the view, these people were very kind and hospitable. The price point brings no complaints. We did experience several power surges and one fried our diffuser, even with a surge protection that shut off our power at every surge.
