The Meadows of St. Johns MHC, LLC Introduce
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in the St. Johns, Michigan area, The Meadows of St. Johns MHC, LLC, located at 2265 W Parks Rd Lot #1, St Johns, MI 48879, presents itself as a mobile home community that may also accommodate RVs. To gain a comprehensive understanding of what this location offers, it's important to consider all available information, including feedback from current or past residents.
The Meadows of St. Johns MHC, LLC, can be contacted at (989) 224-7707 or +1 989-224-7707. This contact information is crucial for anyone seeking to inquire about the availability of RV spaces, the terms of stay, and the amenities offered. As a mobile home community, its primary focus may be on long-term residential living, but it's possible that they also provide accommodations for recreational vehicles on a short-term or long-term basis.
To provide an objective introduction, it's essential to consider the reviews available from individuals who have experience with The Meadows of St. Johns MHC, LLC. These reviews offer direct insights into the lived experiences within the community. It's important to note that the provided reviews raise some significant concerns that potential visitors or residents should be aware of.
One recurring issue highlighted in the reviews pertains to problems with the water supply. Specifically, there are mentions of "constant problems with water" and "several boil water advisories." This suggests potential inconsistencies or issues with the water system that could impact the daily lives and health of residents and visitors. Frequent boil water advisories can be disruptive and may indicate underlying infrastructure concerns.
Another point of feedback relates to communication and management practices. One reviewer mentions "late notices sent early because she's going on vacation." This suggests potential issues with the timing and delivery of important information to residents, possibly due to management scheduling. Effective and timely communication is crucial in any residential or park setting, and inconsistencies in this area can lead to frustration among residents.
Furthermore, there are concerns raised about the completion and maintenance of renovations. The comment "Renovations never finished and left partially done" indicates potential issues with ongoing projects and the overall upkeep of the property. Partially completed renovations can be unsightly and may even pose safety hazards or inconveniences to those living nearby.
In contrast to these negative comments regarding infrastructure and management, one reviewer offers a positive note about the "neighborhood cats" being nice. While this is a pleasant sentiment, it does not address the more significant concerns related to essential services and maintenance.
Another detailed review provides further insights into specific maintenance issues. The reviewer states, "I never have to fix a pipe until they turn back on the water, this happens a lot." This reinforces the issue of frequent water disruptions. The reviewer also mentions incurring personal expenses for repairs due to these water issues and not being reimbursed for fittings or labor. This raises concerns about the park's responsibility for infrastructure maintenance and its policies regarding resident-initiated repairs.
A particularly concerning issue raised is a water leak near the reviewer's dog house that has reportedly been ongoing for "4 years" without being fixed. This suggests a lack of responsiveness to maintenance requests and a potential disregard for water conservation and property upkeep. Such unresolved issues can lead to property damage, increased water bills (potentially affecting the community), and overall dissatisfaction among residents.
Finally, the review details an issue with snow plowing services. The reviewer describes inconsistent service, where one bay receives only a single pass from the plow truck, deemed "sufficient" by the manager, while other bays receive multiple passes. This indicates a potential lack of fairness and consistency in the provision of essential winter maintenance services, which can impact accessibility and safety within the park.
Considering these reviews, individuals searching for "RV parks near me" and considering The Meadows of St. Johns MHC, LLC, should be aware of the potential challenges highlighted by these past residents. While the park is located in St. Johns, MI, and offers a physical address and contact information, the feedback suggests potential issues with water reliability, communication, maintenance, and service consistency.
It is strongly recommended that anyone considering staying at The Meadows of St. Johns MHC, LLC, whether in an RV for a short period or as a potential long-term resident, conduct thorough due diligence. This should include contacting the management directly to inquire about the current status of the water system, maintenance procedures, and any ongoing or planned renovations. It would also be beneficial to speak with current residents, if possible, to gain a more balanced and up-to-date perspective on the living conditions within the community.
Given the information available, it is difficult to ascertain specific amenities or features that might be attractive to RV travelers. Typically, RV parks offer hookups for water, electricity, and sewer, as well as potentially providing common areas, laundry facilities, and restroom/shower buildings. However, the negative feedback regarding basic infrastructure and maintenance raises concerns about the overall quality and reliability of any amenities that may be available at The Meadows of St. Johns MHC, LLC.
As there is no promotional information provided, and the available reviews highlight significant issues, it is challenging to recommend The Meadows of St. Johns MHC, LLC, without reservation. Potential users should weigh the convenience of the location against the reported problems and ensure they have addressed these concerns directly with the management before making any decisions about staying there.
In conclusion, while The Meadows of St. Johns MHC, LLC, is located in St. Johns, MI, and may technically fall under the category of "RV parks near me" if they accommodate recreational vehicles, the available reviews present a concerning picture regarding water issues, maintenance, communication, and service consistency. Prospective visitors and residents are strongly advised to conduct thorough inquiries and seek current information before considering this location for their RV or long-term living needs.

Jan 22, 2025 · Alex xI never have to fix a pipe until they turn back on the water, this happens a lot. I keep good maintenance on my place and they never reimburse me for the fittings or my labor. The water by my dog house has been leaking for 4 years and they still haven't fixed the leak. And every year maintenance guy Leo will come through the first bay with one pass in the plow truck. Says Joe the manager says that's sufficient enough. But if you look at other bays they are done with several passes.
Feb 21, 2025 · MYLES KEPHARTI would not recommend living here unless you know your rights. Management consistently try’s to go against the lease that they provided. On top of that if you have a safety Concern, good luck. I had a manhole flooding human Feces into my yard. The very first time it happend it was over a week before I had to threaten to call the likes of the health department on them. Then they say that they will work with you if you are having Financial trouble. but by that they mean they will make a payment plan with you, then, when you are making all your payments on time. You will recieve a court summons. So you have to stop making payments to be able to pay in full by 1 week. Then they will say that they can’t help you because you stopped making payments, because they sent a court summons. That’s just an few examples, I have several more. You will be fighting tooth and nail with the management here over simple stuff.(With the pictures I went and checked my camera and they actual time I was given was 24 hrs and 10 min and an eviction threat. They threatened me with eviction over a few toys, and it’s not like they have been asking me to clean them up for a while, no this was the first time they ask, and this is how they ask. Why?Because management had inspections the next day. I understand I have a few toys that need to be cleaned up but that’s not only rude, but it goes against our lease agreement)I would love to file an official complaint against management, however I don’t know how.
Dec 15, 2024 · Alex WenzlickIt's a good place to live. Nice, quiet community. Nice to have neighbors you can count on. Close to local businesses and schools. Nice little playground up front. The manager and maintenance man are great, quick to get things fixed.
Mar 18, 2025 · Julie FulmerSo overall this trailer park has its pros and cons the water obviously can be a bit of an issue but with a decent filter system not a problem. Affordable housing and the neighbors are really cool. Main reason for the 5 star is my man Leo tho. He is an awesome matnience man and if you are cool to him he'll be cool to you. We locked out keys in out car and he just pulled up and unlocked it in like 2 min. He's not weird and he's a genuine guy that will tell you if he doesn't know something. Autumn is awesome too the both of them keep this place going!
