Timberline RV Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Marshall, Texas area, Timberline RV Park, located at 4000 Elysian Fields Ave, Marshall, TX 75672, USA, presents itself as a welcoming and convenient option, as indicated by recent customer reviews. The park appears to cater to both travelers needing an overnight stop and those requiring a longer-term stay, particularly for work-related purposes.
One reviewer who was staying at Timberline RV Park for work expressed their satisfaction, stating, "We love this place. Staying here for work, good space and plenty of room to walk dogs." This suggests that the park offers ample space for RVs and provides a comfortable environment for longer durations. The mention of "plenty of room to walk dogs" highlights a significant feature for pet owners, indicating that Timberline RV Park is likely a pet-friendly establishment with sufficient areas for walking animals.
Another traveler who used Timberline RV Park as an overnight stop en route to Las Vegas also shared a positive experience. They were "pretty pleased at how clean and well kept the grounds are." Cleanliness and maintenance are crucial aspects of any RV park, contributing significantly to the comfort and overall satisfaction of guests. This positive feedback suggests that Timberline RV Park takes pride in maintaining its grounds to a high standard.
This reviewer specifically mentioned their site, A1, noting that it was "level and easy to pull into and through." Level sites are essential for RVers to ensure their vehicles and appliances function correctly. The ease of pull-through access is particularly beneficial for larger RVs and those towing vehicles, as it eliminates the need for backing up, making the arrival and departure process much smoother and less stressful. The fact that this guest, driving a 37 ft Class A with a Jeep in tow, could pull through without disconnecting their Jeep is a significant advantage for those with larger rigs.
The same reviewer did note an area for potential improvement, mentioning that "The roads in between lanes need some TLC. as they are washing and rutting." While their individual site was satisfactory, the condition of the internal roads within the park could be a concern for some visitors, potentially affecting maneuverability or ride comfort. This is an objective observation that prospective guests should be aware of.
Regarding connectivity, the reviewer mentioned that "The WIFI was too weak a signal to use but we have Starlink so we just connected to it instead." This indicates that while Wi-Fi may be offered at Timberline RV Park, its signal strength might be insufficient for reliable use. Travelers who heavily rely on internet access for work or leisure should consider this and potentially have alternative solutions available, as this guest did with Starlink.
A significant positive aspect highlighted by the overnight traveler was the availability of "Lots of green areas to walk my Fur Babies." This reinforces the park's pet-friendly nature and suggests that there are dedicated or ample grassy spaces for pets to exercise. Furthermore, they noted that "The grounds and dog area too were well kept and no evidence of irresponsible pet owners before me," indicating that the park management likely encourages responsible pet ownership and maintains these areas well.
Overall, the overnight traveler stated, "I recommend staying here. ... The area is safe and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and it was priced right." This strong recommendation, coupled with the positive remarks about cleanliness, site quality, pet-friendliness, and perceived safety and comfort, makes Timberline RV Park an attractive option for those seeking "RV parks near me" in Marshall, TX. The mention of the price being "right" suggests that the park offers good value for the amenities and experience provided.
Based on these reviews, Timberline RV Park appears to offer the following features and services:
- Spacious and level RV sites, including pull-through options suitable for large rigs (up to 37 ft Class A with a tow vehicle).
- A clean and well-kept environment throughout the grounds.
- Ample green areas specifically for walking pets, indicating a pet-friendly policy.
- A safe and comfortable atmosphere.
- Potentially reasonable pricing, offering good value.
- Likely essential utility hookups at each site (though not explicitly mentioned, they are implied by RV stays).
Areas for potential consideration include the condition of the internal roads, which may require some maintenance, and the strength of the provided Wi-Fi signal, which may be weak or unreliable for some users.
As promotional information is not provided in the reviews, it is recommended that interested individuals contact Timberline RV Park directly at (903) 930-6640 or +1 903-930-6640 to inquire about current rates, availability, specific amenities (such as water, electricity, sewer hookups, restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, etc.), and any special offers for short-term or long-term stays. In conclusion, Timberline RV Park in Marshall, TX, appears to be a well-regarded option for those searching for "RV parks near me." Its clean environment, spacious and level pull-through sites, pet-friendly policies with ample green spaces, and a sense of safety and comfort make it appealing for both overnight travelers and those seeking longer stays, including for work. We love this place. Staying here for work, good space and plenty of room to walk dogs.
Apr 26, 2025 · David W. UpchurchGreat place for our overnight stop and stay. En route to Vegas and this was our first stop. I’m pretty pleased at how clean and well kept the grounds are. Our site is A1 and it’s level and easy to pull into and through. The roads in between lanes need some TLC. as they are washing and rutting. The WIFI was too weak a signal to use but we have Starlink so we just connected to it instead. Lots of green areas to walk my Fur Babies . The grounds and dog area too were well kept and no evidence of irresponsible pet owners before me. I recommend staying here. I drive a 37 ft Class A with a Jeep in Tow. Our site was long enough to pull through without disconnecting Jeep. The area is safe and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and it was priced right.
Jul 28, 2024 · Tera HoustonMy family and I stayed here for a month and would definitely stay again. The park was clean and plenty of space to walk the dogs. The spot we stayed in was roomy and right across from the laundry and bathrooms. The owners were extremely nice and helpful anytime we needed to call.
Nov 30, 2021 · Ashley HoweryI liked that we could book online. They have a nice bath house and the property is nice to walk around. There seemed to be a lot of dog poop around even though they supply doggy bags. Other than that we had a nice overnight stay.
Apr 10, 2024 · Karina SimoniWe only stayed one short night. Arrived after closing and left before opening. Just passing through. The concrete pad was great and level. However, There was no soap in the restrooms and no towels for drying hands. Air dryer are not sufficient. Worst part, too much traffic in and out all night. Sorry but we won't be coming back.
