So I very rarely leave reviews, but I felt like it was necessary to share my experience there.I drive through Eureka a lot. I stop at the gas station at the top of the hill fairly often. They’ve always been very nice. When I saw that they were building RV slots I thought that was pretty cool! I’d support them whenever I had an opportunity! So August of 2024 I did, I met with him, paid cash, and as I was talking to him I asked if we could park on the gravel (which is in between the slots) He said we’d prefer if you didn’t but never said no about it.So I have 2 vehicles, a car and truck so I started to park the car on the “uncompacted gravel” which wasn’t a problem for me. I guess if you do more than walk on it you’ll damage it pretty much.So you only have about 1 to 2 spots to park a vehicle, either at the front or rear of your RV. About 6 weeks in staying there I started to park my truck with a trailer on the gravel, I pulled in one day supposedly way too fast (which I did respect a lot about that place) and “She” met me at my door about 30 seconds after I got to my unit. She told that they have told me and told me not to park on the gravel and I was going way too fast……. No one has told me not to park on the gravel once since I had been there. She said “sorry I’m being b$&ch but I have a chip on my shoulder” those are her words. They don’t have bathrooms, they don’t have tables or any other amenities that an RV park should have if you’re paying 1000 a month, it’s just the slot you’re renting with sewer, water and power. On top of that they’re charging 1200 now to anyone who stays there from now on according to the neighbors. I know many other RV parks within 100 miles that are cheaper and better or you get a heck of a lot more for the price they’re charging. My experience for the first month wasn’t bad but the second month 👎🏽It does have a lot of access to trails and such which is cool. - Scott Johnson

Tintic Trails RV Park Introduce

Welcome to Tintic Trails RV Park, located at 536 Main St #6, Eureka, UT 84628, USA. For local users searching within the “RV parks near me” category, Tintic Trails RV Park offers a location with notable access to trails and outdoor activities. You can reach the park management at (801) 669-0508 or +1 801-669-0508 for inquiries. However, a recent detailed review provides insights into the park's environment, services, and features that potential guests should carefully consider.

The environment of Tintic Trails RV Park is highlighted by its "lot of access to trails and such," which suggests a significant advantage for outdoor enthusiasts. The town of Eureka is located in an area known for its mining history and surrounding natural landscapes, likely offering opportunities for hiking, biking, and exploring. The reviewer, who drives through Eureka frequently, initially viewed the development of RV slots as a positive addition to the area. However, the review also points out an aspect of the physical environment within the park itself: the presence of "uncompacted gravel" in between the RV slots. The reviewer noted that parking on this gravel, even with a car, could potentially damage it if more than walking occurs. This suggests that designated parking for vehicles might be limited to one or two spots at the front or rear of the RV site. Potential guests with multiple vehicles should inquire about parking arrangements and any restrictions on using the gravel areas.

The services at Tintic Trails RV Park, according to the review, appear to be quite basic. The reviewer explicitly states that the park does "not have bathrooms" and does "not have tables or any other amenities that an RV park should have" for the price being charged. The only services mentioned are the essential hookups provided at each rented slot: sewer, water, and power. This lack of common amenities such as restrooms, showers, picnic tables, or potentially laundry facilities is a significant point to consider for those accustomed to more full-service RV parks found through an “RV parks near me” search. Potential guests should verify the availability of any amenities beyond the basic utility hookups when making inquiries.

The features of Tintic Trails RV Park, based on the single detailed review, are primarily its location providing access to trails and outdoor activities. This could be a major draw for RVers who are self-sufficient and prioritize exploring the surrounding natural environment. However, the limited amenities within the park itself are a notable feature. The parking situation, with potentially only one or two designated spots per RV and restrictions on using the gravel areas, is another feature to be aware of, especially for those traveling with multiple vehicles or trailers. The reviewer also mentions the cost, stating they paid $1000 per month and that the rate has since increased to $1200 for new stays, according to neighbors. The reviewer felt this price was high for the limited services and amenities offered compared to other RV parks within a 100-mile radius. For those considering a stay at Tintic Trails RV Park, the access to trails should be weighed against the potentially higher cost and lack of typical RV park amenities.

Promotional information for Tintic Trails RV Park is not available in the review. However, the park's proximity to trails and the natural beauty of the Eureka area could be considered an inherent promotional aspect for outdoor enthusiasts. For local users searching “RV parks near me” who are primarily interested in a basecamp for hiking, biking, or exploring the Tintic Mining District and surrounding landscapes, Tintic Trails RV Park's location might be its strongest selling point. However, potential guests should be fully aware of the limited amenities and the reported pricing before making a decision.

The review also raises a significant concern regarding management interaction. The reviewer recounts an encounter with "She" (presumably the manager) regarding parking a truck with a trailer on the gravel. The reviewer claims they had not been previously told not to park there and describes the manager's demeanor as unprofessional, including the use of strong language. This anecdote suggests that potential guests might experience less than ideal customer service. While a single review does not provide a comprehensive picture of the management style, it is a factor that prospective residents might want to consider or inquire about further.

For local users specifically searching within the “RV parks near me” category, Tintic Trails RV Park offers a location in Eureka with direct access to trails, which can be a significant draw for those planning outdoor adventures. However, the park appears to be more of a basic setup, providing essential utility hookups without the common amenities found in many other RV parks. The reported pricing suggests it might not be the most budget-friendly option, especially considering the limited services. Self-contained RVers who prioritize trail access over park amenities might find this suitable, but those expecting facilities like restrooms, showers, or laundry should look elsewhere. It is crucial for potential guests to contact the management to verify the current pricing, confirm the availability (or lack thereof) of specific amenities, and inquire about parking regulations and other park policies.

In conclusion, Tintic Trails RV Park in Eureka, Utah, offers a potentially appealing environment for outdoor enthusiasts due to its access to trails. However, a recent customer review indicates that the park has very limited amenities, lacking basic facilities like bathrooms and tables, despite a relatively high monthly cost. Parking may also be restricted. While the location is a significant feature, prospective guests should carefully weigh this against the lack of amenities and the reported management interaction. Local users searching “RV parks near me” who are self-sufficient and primarily seeking a base for exploring the natural surroundings might consider Tintic Trails RV Park, but thorough due diligence and direct communication with the management are strongly recommended.
