Welcome to Treasure Island Mobile Home & RV Park, located at 1700 El Camino Real, South San Francisco, CA 94080, USA. You can contact them at (650) 731-6049 or +1 650-731-6049 for inquiries and reservations.
When deciding on an RV park, safety, cleanliness, and customer service are often primary concerns. Treasure Island Mobile Home & RV Park has received mixed reviews regarding these aspects, providing potential guests with varying perspectives on what to expect during their stay.
One reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction with their experience at Treasure Island Mobile Home & RV Park. This individual, who travels the country for work and has stayed in numerous parks over four years, described it as "easily the worst Park I've ever stayed at." Their complaints include difficulty in contacting the management, taking four days to get a phone call answered. Furthermore, they allege being denied long-term stay prices despite the apparent availability of numerous empty sites. The reviewer also recounts issues with payment flexibility and the refusal of a refund for unused days, leading to a feeling of being "scammed." This feedback highlights potential concerns regarding communication, pricing transparency, and customer service, particularly with an individual named Henry, presumably part of the management.
In contrast, another reviewer had a more positive experience, specifically focusing on the sense of safety provided by the park. They chose Treasure Island RV Park as a safer alternative to parking their RV in downtown San Francisco. This reviewer noted that while the park itself might not have extensive features, they felt secure leaving their RV there during the day. They also described the parking spot as having "plenty of room" and found the park to be "quiet and clean." Additionally, this reviewer praised the on-site bathrooms and showers for being "secure and clean" and commended the customer service provided by Henry, recommending the place.
Considering these contrasting reviews, it is evident that experiences at Treasure Island Mobile Home & RV Park can vary. The park's location on El Camino Real in South San Francisco places it in a potentially convenient area for accessing both San Francisco and the broader Peninsula region. South San Francisco offers various amenities, including shopping, dining, and transportation links, although the immediate surroundings of the RV park are not detailed in the reviews.
Regarding the environment of the park, the positive review mentions it being "quiet and clean," which are desirable qualities for any RV park. The negative review does not comment specifically on the physical environment or cleanliness, focusing instead on management and pricing issues. The availability of space, as indicated by the negative reviewer's observation of numerous empty sites, might suggest that booking availability is generally not a problem, although the pricing structure for different durations of stay appears to be a point of contention.
The positive review mentions "on-site bathrooms and showers" that are "secure and clean," indicating that these essential facilities are available for guests. The negative review does not comment on these facilities, so their overall condition and accessibility might be acceptable to some but were not a focus of their dissatisfaction. Other typical RV park services, such as hookups for water, electricity, and sewer, are not explicitly mentioned in either review, but it can be generally assumed that these basic amenities are provided at an RV park. Wi-Fi availability and other potential features like laundry facilities or recreational areas are also not discussed in the provided feedback.
Promotional information is absent from the given reviews. To learn about any special offers, long-term rates (and their availability), or specific amenities, it is advisable to contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers. Potential guests may also want to inquire about the park's policies on reservations, cancellations, and refunds to avoid the issues encountered by the dissatisfied reviewer.
For those searching for 'RV parks near me' with a priority on safety while visiting San Francisco, Treasure Island Mobile Home & RV Park appears to offer a secure location, at least according to one reviewer. However, the significant concerns raised by another reviewer regarding management communication, pricing practices, and refund policies should not be overlooked. It is recommended that prospective guests carefully consider both perspectives and perhaps seek additional recent reviews or information from other sources before making a reservation.
In conclusion, Treasure Island Mobile Home & RV Park in South San Francisco offers a location that some visitors have found safe and convenient for accessing the city. The park is described as quiet and clean, with secure on-site bathroom and shower facilities. However, there are serious concerns raised about the management's communication, pricing, and refund policies, which potential guests should be aware of. It is recommended to contact the park directly for detailed information and to consider the full spectrum of available feedback when making a decision about your stay.

Treasure Island Mobile Home & RV Park Reviews
I don't know where these five star ratings are coming from especially when they talk about Henry. It took me 4 days of calling to get someone to answer the phone and after staying here for 2 months and 2 weeks I can say this is easily the worst Park I've ever stayed at and I travel the country for work and been doing so for 4 years. He refused to give me long-term stay prices because he said that there weren't any available for a year but I can count probably 30 to 40 different sites that have been empty the entire time I've been here and I will post pictures. He wouldn't let me pay the last 3 weeks one week at a time (even though he was charging me short-term prices) because I was not sure when I was leaving but when I called him a week before I needed to leave he refused to give me a refund on the last 6 days I would not need. Sometimes it's hard trying to figure out when to make your next reservation without losing a couple days here or there but when management acts like Henry it's impossible. Unfortunately it was the only park near my job, if you come to San Francisco with an RV it's worth staying at an outside Park and driving just to avoid Treasure Island mobile home and RV. I feel like I've been scammed.
Mar 21, 2025 · Corbett StirlingWe did not feel comfortable parking our RV in the downtown San Francisco area. We wanted to park it somewhere safer. Treasure Island RV park was great. Although there's not much to say about the park itself, we felt safe when we left the RV for the day, and the parking spot had plenty of room. The park is quiet and clean. The on-site bathrooms and showers are secure and clean. The customer service provided by Henry was great. Highly recommend this place.
Mar 20, 2025 · GaryVery Clean quiet RV park with good facilities and only a ten Minute walk to the Bart Station and then 15 min into San Francisco. Great for seeing the sights and feeling Safe. Only four Stars because the fact that you have to Reserve at least 48 hours before and there are No options fir more soontaneous bookings IS a pain. But Manager was very prompt and helpful with his E-Mails. It's Not a Green park, but for a City RV park good prices and nice honey touches all around!
Mar 29, 2025 · Nat TokaReally great RV Park! This is our 5th year staying here for 5 months at a time, and we absolutely love it. Henry, the office manager, is sensational! He is so on top of his game, professional and responsive to anything that comes up during your stay. He is actually physically present in the office which is a nice change compared to previous Office Managers. He's very kind and treats you like a friendly neighbor and makes you feel right at home. He's just a fun guy to deal with! The main maintenance and grounds guy, Vidal, is absolutely outstanding! This place is super well maintained and very clean. Both guys (we haven't met the new guy yet so we don't have his name) are very diligent about driving around the park, fixing things, beautifying the grounds, etc. Super hard working staff and very, very friendly. The bathrooms and the laundry room are nice and clean. We highly recommend this park if you are just coming for a few nights, or staying long term, you won't be disappointed. :-)
Mar 12, 2025 · Savior PapettiStayed here for a couple nights while traveling to visit the area.Communication from the office was not clear. We arrived on a weekend and wasn't told there was no one on call or what to do when arriving at the park. I did get a response via email when the phone was a bust upon arrival. We ended up pulling into the area with arrows on the fence pointing to the office. BIG MISTAKE! Not only did we end up damaging our new fifth wheel, we also damaged the park's fence trying to get ourselves out of the parking situation. This wouldn't have happened if 1) we were told before arrival what to do or received a map via email and/or 2) there were signs or personnel to guide us on where to pull in.We found out the spot we were given was occupied and ended up just picking a space and emailing the location.Next issue we encountered was having to ask a full timer to move their vehicle to allow us into the very narrow, tight space to get to our spot. Our fifth wheel is 44 feet long and though the park states we were good to go. We believe it was a bit too tight for our length but we did make it with no more incidents.Once in our space, it was TIGHT. There's not really any room to even open up your awnings and you could be next to people leaving for work at 6 am which isn't ideal when you're on vacation. The park was clean and looked nice. We did notice that the dog park doesn't get the attention daily that it should. Not all guests clean up after their dogs unfortunately. We also want to say that the park's manager, Henry was very kind about the damage, and definitely a pleasure to speak with which was appreciated.Overall if you have a large rig, we'd suggest looking elsewhere to stay. The cost to stay is very pricey for space and besides laundry and bathhouse, there arent any amenities. The park's location was convenient for our visit so we were definitely not unhappy with our stay just felt a little cramped. If you do choose this park realize you're on your own after hours or on weekends unless the park changes their procedures.
