Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park Introduce
If you're searching for "RV parks near me" in the Hobe Sound, Florida area, Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park, located at 7770 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound, FL 33455, presents a complex picture based on recent online reviews. It's crucial for potential visitors and residents to be aware of both positive developments and past negative experiences to make an informed decision.
One of the most significant pieces of information available is an update indicating a recent change in ownership at Twin Rivers. According to a customer review, the "old management has finally sold out," and new corporate-oriented owners have taken over. This development is viewed positively by the reviewer, who notes that "things have begun to get much better" and are improving "FAST." This suggests a potential turning point for the park, with a focus on more professional management practices and improvements to the overall environment and services.
However, it's equally important to consider a contrasting and highly critical review detailing a negative experience with the previous management. This reviewer alleges deceptive practices related to lot rentals and deposit refunds. The account describes a situation where a deposit was taken for a lot supposedly becoming available within a month, but the lot remained occupied. The reviewer further claims that the owner refused to return the deposit, allegedly providing receipts with missing dates to dispute agreed-upon move-in dates. The review portrays the owner as hostile, rude, argumentative, and forgetful, accusing them of running a scheme to defraud potential renters. This individual strongly advises others to avoid the park based on their negative encounter.
Given these conflicting accounts, it's challenging to provide a definitive assessment of the current environment, services, and features of Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park. The recent change in ownership offers hope for significant improvements, but the serious allegations against the former management should not be disregarded. Potential users should approach with caution and seek the most up-to-date information directly from the new management.
Based solely on the limited information available in these two reviews, we can attempt to infer some potential aspects of the park, while acknowledging that these may be subject to change under the new ownership:
Environment: The positive update suggests a move towards a better-maintained and potentially more organized environment under corporate ownership. However, there is no specific information about the physical layout, landscaping, or overall aesthetic of the park in either review. The negative review focuses entirely on the alleged mismanagement and does not comment on the physical environment.
Services and Features (Potentially Improving): The positive review implies that services and features are likely to improve under the new corporate management. This could encompass aspects such as:
- Management Responsiveness: The previous management was criticized for not returning calls and being unhelpful. The new management is described as "corporate-oriented," which often implies a more professional and responsive approach to resident needs.
- Transparency and Honesty: The allegations of deceptive practices with deposits and move-in dates under the old ownership highlight the importance of transparency and honesty in park management. The new owners will hopefully prioritize ethical dealings with potential and current residents.
- Maintenance and Upkeep: Corporate management often adheres to standardized procedures for park maintenance and upkeep, which could lead to improvements in the overall condition of the facilities.
Conversely, the negative review does not provide any information about existing services or features, focusing solely on the alleged fraudulent rental practices.
Promotional Information: Currently, there is no promotional information available in the provided reviews. The positive update could be seen as an indirect promotion of the changes occurring at the park, encouraging potential customers to give Twin Rivers another look. However, there are no specific offers, discounts, or highlighted amenities mentioned.
Given the stark contrast in the two reviews, any attempt to provide a detailed introduction to Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park must emphasize the uncertainty and the need for potential users to conduct their own thorough investigation. The recent change in ownership is a significant factor that could lead to a vastly different experience compared to what was described in the negative review. However, it is still too early to definitively assess the impact of this change over the long term, as noted by the reviewer who suggested waiting six months for a clearer picture.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" and considering Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park, the following steps are strongly recommended:
- Contact the new management directly: Inquire about their management practices, policies regarding deposits and refunds, and the current status of available lots or mobile home spaces. Ask about any ongoing improvements or plans for the park.
- Visit the park in person: If possible, schedule a visit to observe the current environment, facilities, and the demeanor of the new management.
- Seek updated reviews: Look for more recent reviews from individuals who have interacted with the new management to gauge their experiences.
- Exercise caution: Given the serious allegations against the previous management, it would be prudent to proceed with caution and ensure all agreements are clearly documented and understood before committing to a rental or lease.
In conclusion, Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park is currently in a state of transition following a change in ownership. While there is optimism that the new corporate management will bring about positive changes and improvements, potential users should be aware of past negative experiences reported under the previous management. A thorough personal investigation and direct communication with the new owners are essential to determine if Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park now offers the environment, services, and ethical standards you seek in an "RV park near me" in the Hobe Sound, Florida area.

Feb 25, 2025 · William RudgeThieves, liars and substance abuse owner. Took a deposit from me on a lot that was not ready to rent in a months time as verbally agreed upon than refused to return my deposit when said spot was still occupied. Owner leaves dates out from receipt for lot rentals which provides her room to argue your move in date was different so she can keep your money. She constantly confuses details and doesn’t remember anything doesn’t return calls was extremely hostile, rude and argumentative when I wanted to show her, her texts to me stating move in dates between us. Get this people she said, ‘I’m arguing about a refund on a deposit that’s on a non refundable receipt.’ Although, she said she would return my deposit if the lot would have been occupied the dates she chose for my move in date. Confusing, right? That’s how you’ll feel dealing with her I’m convinced this isn’t her first time knowingly tricking someone into renting an occupied lot in order to steal money from someone it was a scheme a setup. When I paid her the deposit she said she was sick she had the receipt filled out prior to my arrival and gave it to me on the porch outside. I’m sure that was an act too just to avoid questions or any requests I would have asked for to be made on the receipt like dates. Scammers a true thief!!! Pay attention to the reviews of others I wish I would’ve and avoid this place and shady character like the plague or you will regret it!
Apr 23, 2022 · Norma BI lived here for a few months when I was in high school and had a pretty good time. Jimmy and Catherine are nice people, Jimmy's mother (Sorry, I forgot her name) was very business like and professional. Jimmy mowed the lawn and took care of everything. If someone doesn't like this place, it's probably because they don't like simple things in life.
Mar 25, 2020 · Dane LeeAwful here. The old lady is a drama queen. They don't know me. I'll have this place closed down. Jimmy seems ok but still lots of nasty and disrespect here. Been here 3 weeks. After last night i think I'll leave. Can't believe i had to get out of bed and listen to the old lady who said she owns this place. If I'm renting a lot I own it as long as i pay the rent. I know the rules/laws and a few ate being broken. So pick at me once more and we will see who makes more dust in the air. Nasty place.
