Hobe Village Mobile Home Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" that might also offer longer-term residency options in the Hobe Sound, Florida area, Hobe Village Mobile Home Park, located at 11411 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound, FL 33455, presents a complex and somewhat contradictory picture based on recent online reviews. It's essential for potential residents to carefully consider the various perspectives presented to form a comprehensive understanding of this community.
One of the most concerning reviews details a deeply negative experience involving the new management. This reviewer alleges that their grandmother was evicted from her home of 45 years while hospitalized, with the new management reportedly refusing payment and moving into her residence. This account paints a very unfavorable picture of the new owner, identified as Anna, and suggests a severe lack of compassion and ethical conduct. The reviewer states that their grandmother has been homeless for two years as a result of this situation. This is a serious accusation that potential residents should be aware of and consider in their decision-making process.
In stark contrast, another reviewer who grew up in Hobe Village offers a more positive perspective on the changes under the new management. This review indicates that the community has been improving with each visit. Specific positive changes mentioned include the addition of a park for children, the cleanup of yards, the removal of individuals involved in drug-related activities, and the transformation of the clubhouse into a more desirable space. This reviewer explicitly states a preference for the current state of the park under the new management compared to its condition under previous management and commends the ongoing improvements.
A brief third review simply encourages the management to "Keep up the great work," further supporting the notion that positive changes are indeed occurring under the new leadership. This suggests that at least some residents are satisfied with the direction the park is heading.
Given these divergent accounts, it's crucial to approach an evaluation of Hobe Village Mobile Home Park with a balanced perspective. The serious allegation of mistreatment and eviction should not be taken lightly and warrants careful consideration. However, the positive feedback regarding improvements in the community environment and facilities under the new management also suggests a potential for a better living experience for new residents.
Based on the available reviews, we can attempt to outline potential aspects of the park, keeping in mind the conflicting narratives:
Environment: The positive review indicates a trend towards a cleaner and more family-friendly environment. The cleanup of yards and the addition of a park for children suggest an effort to improve the overall aesthetic and appeal of the community, particularly for families. The removal of "druggies" implies an attempt to enhance safety and security within the park.
Services and Features (Potentially Improved): The positive review highlights specific improvements in services and features:
- Children's Park: The addition of a park specifically for children suggests that Hobe Village may be aiming to be more inclusive of families with young children.
- Clubhouse: The transformation of the clubhouse into a "somewhere you want to be" indicates that it may now offer more amenities, activities, or a more welcoming social space for residents.
- Management Responsiveness (Contradictory): While one review praises the new management for improvements, the other details a horrifying experience of alleged mistreatment. This highlights the critical need for potential residents to assess the current management's practices and responsiveness directly.
- Community Safety: The "booting of the druggies" suggests an effort to improve the safety and well-being of residents by addressing potential issues related to substance abuse within the community.
The negative review, while deeply concerning, does not provide information about the general services or features of the park, focusing solely on the alleged eviction and mistreatment.
Promotional Information: There is no explicit promotional information available in the provided reviews, such as special offers or incentives for new residents. However, the positive reviews could be interpreted as indirect promotion, highlighting the positive changes occurring within the park under the new management.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" that might also accommodate mobile homes and considering Hobe Village Mobile Home Park, a thorough and cautious approach is strongly advised. The conflicting reviews present a complex picture that requires careful investigation. Potential residents should:
- Attempt to contact the new management directly: Seek information about their current policies, community rules, and the overall environment of the park. Inquire specifically about their management practices and how they address resident concerns.
- Visit the park in person: If possible, schedule a visit to observe the current conditions, the children's park, the clubhouse, and the general atmosphere of the community.
- Seek more recent and diverse reviews: Look for a wider range of recent reviews from different sources to get a more balanced perspective on the current state of Hobe Village under the new management.
- Exercise extreme caution regarding tenancy agreements and resident rights: Given the serious allegation of wrongful eviction, potential long-term residents should be particularly diligent in understanding their rights and the terms of any lease or agreement. Seeking legal advice before committing to residency might be prudent.
In conclusion, Hobe Village Mobile Home Park in Hobe Sound, Florida, appears to be a community undergoing significant changes under new management. While there are positive indications of improvements in the environment and facilities, the deeply concerning allegation of wrongful eviction casts a serious shadow. Potential residents searching for "RV parks near me" with longer-term options should proceed with extreme caution, conduct thorough due diligence, and seek comprehensive and up-to-date information before making any decisions about residing in Hobe Village Mobile Home Park.

Hobe Village Mobile Home Park Reviews
New management kicked my grandmother out while she was in the hospital, refused our payment and moved into her home of 45 years. Now she’s been homeless for 2 years thanks new owner Anna. You’re a horrible person.
May 12, 2024 · Max McKinleyGrew up here, gets a little better every time I come back to visit. They've got a park for the kids, cleaned up the yards, booted the druggies, and the clubhouse is somewhere you want to be. Wish it was this good under previous management.Keep up the great work, guys
Jan 30, 2021 · Caleb WassonHobe (ho-bay) Village is a quiet little trailer park where I lived for a few months and I still visit a friend who lives there. Improvements are being made with regards to the overall appearance and quality of living there. New landscaping, street lamps and driveways have recently been added and it seems like more improvements are coming.
May 25, 2019 · Mike ALived there as a child. Drove through recently and saw lots of improvements. From playgrounds to improved roads. Looks great. Cleaned up a lot. Keep up the great work.
Jan 30, 2021 · Cynthia WassonVery dirty and unclean kept. Some nice people live there a mixed community where family oriented. Visited a house with lots of roaches!
