US Army MWR Redstone Arsenal RV Park Reviews
Peaceful, quiet, and very roomy in between sites. All are pull through and enough grassy areas for kids to run around and play games. There are plenty of sites to choose from, great for active duty and retired military. I would recommend this place, hands down, and I plan on coming back again.
Oct 13, 2024 · Al ZeroWhat an amazing Army MWR camping facility! Sites are wide and long. Good distance between campers. Easy in easy out. Love the dog park! We will definitely be back!
Aug 24, 2024 · Chris Gimbert (Koriax)Overall park is nice and lots are spacious, concrete. Been here for a week and found that lots 36-37-38-39 will get mud during rain storms, with 39 being the worst and just so happens, I am in 39. Entrance directions are marked and all lots in the front are pull thru. There are about 10 lots in the back in wooded areas on cul-de-sac that are back in.
May 19, 2024 · Perry GuilfordThis campground had all the necessities for a few enjoyable nights in Alabama. Our site features a fully concrete slab and was situated next to a wonderful open field. We met a fellow camper, but for most part, it was a fairly quiet camp ground. To the person running near our campsite one morning, I apologize for our puppy chasing you. We took our eyes off her for just a moment, and she made it clear across the field in what felt like less than 30 seconds. We had no idea she was so fast! You nearly jumped out of your running shoes when you realized something was chasing you. Our cute eight-month-old Golden Retriever puppy. I am truly sorry! We have fortified camp since to ensure a safe place for runners.
Jul 01, 2024 · Erika Lurz4 stars only because there was no shade, except around the perimeter of the park. And we were there during 100° weather in August! Other than that, it was all level concrete pull through sites with full electric, water and sewer connections. The price was right, just enough seclusion from the post and from the town, yet the Exchange and Commissary were close enough to walk to if you wanted to.
