It is important to consider recent feedback from residents when evaluating Valley Wood Mobile Home Community. Several reviews express significant concerns regarding the current management and the overall living experience within the park. One reviewer states that the "New management is... not competent. Very money hungry, with zero regard to your wellbeing or how pleasant your stay is." This sentiment suggests potential issues with management responsiveness and a focus on financial aspects that may negatively impact residents' comfort.
Further elaborating on these concerns, the reviewer advises potential residents to "Be prepared, they are delusional, and will gladly take your money while expecting you to thank them for ignoring maintenance requests." This indicates potential challenges in getting necessary maintenance issues addressed in a timely manner, which can significantly affect the quality of living for residents.
The review also raises a serious allegation regarding inconsistent enforcement of community rules, stating, "New rules, that aren't enforced (if you're a certain ethnicity), too." Such claims, if accurate, point to potential issues of unfair treatment and discrimination within the community, which would be a significant concern for prospective residents.
Adding to the list of grievances, the reviewer mentions a contractual dispute, stating, "They're also removing our home to put a new one in after a verbal and written contract they didn't sign, just to be able to screw us and other people over." This suggests potential instability and disregard for agreements made with residents, which could lead to significant disruption and financial strain for those living in the community.
Another reviewer echoes the concern about financial practices, stating they are "money hungry and raise the rent every couple of months." Frequent rent increases can make budgeting difficult for residents and may indicate a lack of stability in housing costs.
Regarding amenities, the information provided by this reviewer indicates potential issues with their availability and upkeep. They mention, "There is a gym but its just open whenever they feel like working and opening the doors." This suggests unreliable access to the fitness facility, limiting its usefulness for residents.
Furthermore, the reviewer points out a long-standing issue with the pool, stating, "The pool has been under construction/broken for about 2 years not and was only open for a period of about a week." The prolonged unavailability of a key amenity like a swimming pool can be a significant disappointment for residents, especially during warmer months. The fact that it was only briefly operational in a two-year period raises serious questions about the management's commitment to providing and maintaining promised facilities.
Based on the information available from these recent customer reviews, prospective local users searching for ‘RV parks near me’ in Irving, TX, should approach Valley Wood Mobile Home Community with caution. The feedback highlights significant concerns related to management practices, including potential financial exploitation, neglect of maintenance requests, allegations of discriminatory rule enforcement, and issues with amenity availability and upkeep. While the community's location and contact information are provided, it is crucial for potential residents to conduct thorough due diligence and seek further information before making any decisions.
It would be advisable for interested parties to contact the management directly using the provided phone numbers to inquire about these concerns and get their perspective. Additionally, if possible, speaking with current residents who have not left reviews online could provide a more comprehensive understanding of the current living conditions at Valley Wood Mobile Home Community. Visiting the property in person to assess the environment and the state of the amenities is also highly recommended.
In conclusion, while Valley Wood Mobile Home Community is located in Irving, Texas, and can be contacted via the provided phone numbers, recent customer feedback raises serious concerns about the management, financial practices, rule enforcement, and the availability and maintenance of amenities. Nov 29, 2021 · Sam MoralesStay clear of this place. Their attitude changes from being nice guys to being better than you after you sign their lease. All they care about is their pocket book and their appearance. They will nitpick about every little thing and they could care less about personal situations. It’s not even a matter of not paying rent or not paying rent on time. It’s things like how you park your vehicle, what you have in the yard, how long you let your grass get (even in the event of flooding and mud), what time you put the trash out, and other stuff like that. They excuse it as being the city but it’s the owner driving around in his Corvette. They will mow your yard without warning and expect you to pay, they will also tow your car without warning and expect you to pay. Don’t let them fool you, it’s their tow truck, and what the owner who lives right in the park thinks. It has nothing to do with a city law it’s all how they want their property to look, and they will keep you reminded that it’s their property. They look down on people; you will be treated like an uneducated animal. It’s not worth paying any amount of money to be treated like they will treat you find someplace better even if it means driving further.
Mar 26, 2012 · Marshall TIt's quiet and peaceful trailer home neighborhood. Sometimes in the night we hear wolves or dogs but other than that its a really nice place,Although I don't see my neighbors that often
Dec 17, 2016 · arturo CI live in this community. We have alot of construction going on to improve our community BUT when it gets finished it will be a great place to live. It's fairly quiet considering we are surrounded by Industrial area.
