Village Squire Mobile Estates & RV Park Introduce
For those exploring "RV Parks Near Me" or seeking long-term manufactured home living in the Raleigh area, Village Squire Mobile Estates & RV Park in Knightdale, NC, offers a dual-purpose community. Located at 2048 Village Squire Cir, Knightdale, NC 27545, USA, this establishment serves both mobile home residents and RV campers, though its RV offerings appear to be focused on monthly rentals rather than transient overnight stays. For inquiries, you can reach them at (919) 266-1101.
Village Squire Mobile Estates & RV Park is situated in Knightdale, North Carolina, a growing town in Wake County that borders Raleigh to the east. Knightdale offers a blend of suburban convenience and a developing community feel. The environment surrounding the park would reflect this, likely featuring residential areas with both manufactured homes and RV sites, along with some maintained green spaces. The climate in Knightdale is humid subtropical, characterized by hot, humid summers and mild winters, with pleasant spring and autumn seasons ideal for outdoor activities.
Knightdale has experienced significant residential and commercial growth, providing residents with an increasing array of local amenities. The town features various parks, including the expansive Knightdale Station Park, which offers recreational facilities and cultural events. Shopping centers, restaurants, and essential services are within easy reach, with some shopping centers like Knightdale Business Plaza and Steeple Square within a 9-minute walk of the park.
The park's location offers convenient access to major roadways, including US-64/US-264 and Interstate 540, facilitating commutes to downtown Raleigh, Research Triangle Park, and other parts of the Triangle area. This accessibility makes it an attractive option for those working in the greater Raleigh metropolitan area. While the area is largely suburban, residents can still access natural spaces and greenways for outdoor recreation. It is important to note that like many developed areas, Knightdale has designated flood hazard areas, and prospective residents should be aware of their specific lot's location relative to these zones. Wake County actively manages floodplain areas, and information is available to determine if properties are located in a FEMA flood zone.
Village Squire Mobile Estates & RV Park offers a blend of options for both manufactured home owners and RVers looking for extended stays.
- Mobile Home Lots: The park provides lots for mobile homes, typically leased on a monthly basis. These lots are designed for long-term residential living, with essential utility hookups (water, sewer, and electricity). Information suggests "Large Landscaped Mobile Home Lots" with water, sewer, garbage & recyclables service, and yearly large items/leaf removal included in the lot rent.
- RV Lots: The park also features RV lots available for monthly rental, not typically for nightly or weekly stays. These "Large Landscaped RV Lots" come with water, sewer, garbage & recyclables service, and lawn service included in the monthly rent, with electrical service charged based on usage.
- Connectivity: The park's website explicitly states that "Cellular Reception is excellent on all lots" and that "Broadband Internet and Cable TV services are available" (though presumably at the resident's expense for setup and subscription).
- Appliances (for rental homes): For any rental homes (which might be distinct from mobile home lots where residents own their homes), appliances including a washer and dryer, and central air-conditioning are mentioned.
- Background Checks: Background checks are required for prospective residents, indicating a commitment to community safety.
However, customer reviews highlight significant concerns regarding park services and management:
- Pet Policy Issues: One reviewer expressed frustration over being denied a spot due to having a pit bull, citing a perceived violation of law regarding service animals. While specific breed restrictions are common in many residential communities, the manner of communication and the specific breed mentioned suggest a strict or perhaps misinterpreted pet policy that can lead to negative experiences for pet owners. The park's pet policy for mobile homes generally states a three-pet maximum, with a two-dog limit, and includes pet fees and monthly pet rent.
- Management Accessibility and Responsiveness: A particularly negative review mentions that "getting a hold of the owner or his son is damn near impossible," and reports issues with power to their RV site upon arrival, leading to a hotel stay. This indicates potential challenges with communication and timely resolution of critical issues.
- Site Issues: The review also notes "tight spot" for the RV and "no place to park our vehicles," suggesting potential overcrowding or design limitations for certain sites.
The park's own website promotes "Village Squire Mobile Estates" as offering "a blend of quality, design and comfort" and a "professional leasing team...ready for you to come by to check us out." It emphasizes being a "pet friendly apartment community" which seems to apply to the mobile home rental aspect, although the review contradicts a positive pet experience for an RVer. The positive aspects promoted by the park include spacious, landscaped lots and inclusion of several utility services in the rent.
However, the direct customer reviews provide a stark contrast to this promotional messaging. The severe negative experiences regarding pet policies, lack of management responsiveness, and immediate utility problems upon arrival are critical points for prospective residents. While one review mentions "the neighbors are very friendly," suggesting a positive community amongst residents, this is overshadowed by the operational and management issues reported.
For those searching for "RV Parks Near Me" for a monthly stay, or considering purchasing/renting a mobile home here, the mixed reviews necessitate caution. It is crucial to:
- Verify Pet Policies: Directly contact management to confirm current pet policies, especially regarding specific breeds, and understand all associated fees.
- Confirm Site Specifics: For RVers, inquire about the exact size and parking availability of assigned RV spots, and ensure all hookups are fully functional before committing.
- Assess Management Responsiveness: Attempt to communicate with management several times to gauge their responsiveness and willingness to address concerns.
- Visit in Person: A personal visit is highly recommended to assess the park's condition, the size of lots, and the overall atmosphere. Speaking with current residents, if possible, could provide invaluable firsthand insights.
In conclusion, Village Squire Mobile Estates & RV Park aims to serve as a long-term residential option for mobile homes and monthly RV stays in Knightdale, NC. Its location provides access to a growing suburban area with various amenities. However, significant concerns highlighted in customer reviews regarding pet policies, management accessibility, and site functionality warrant thorough investigation by any interested party. While the park provides essential services, the consistency and quality of these services, particularly customer support, appear to be areas of contention based on available public feedback.

Village Squire Mobile Estates & RV Park Reviews

Jul 29, 2021 · Alexsandr De CourvalAfter a long journey from new mexico, my husband and I arrived today only to be disappointed and angered by this place. We somehow squeezed into the tight spot only to realize there is no place to park our vehicles and to also find out no power coming from the pole! I should also mention getting a hold of the owner or his son is damn near impossible. Since there's no power to our rv, we are staying in a hotel for the night..or two. One good thing about this place is the neighbors are very friendly..we may move depending on if this issue gets resolved.
Aug 23, 2017 · Kimberly YoutzyWould have liked to stay here, but apparently no one works there because I can’t get a phone call back or seems like nobody is around to answer the phone. I must have left three or four messages and called numerous times.
Jan 28, 2020 · Eddie MacLost cause guys. I’ve called, left voicemails and emailed multiple times. I even drove out here to inquire about renting. The office says open but it’s dark and no one is answering the door. I’m moving on to another place.
Aug 04, 2020 · Brittany CI been trying to call this place for the last 3 days but it's impossible to get it touch with someone, I left 3 voicemail and as of right now no one has call me back.
