Weatherstone Lakes Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Sauk Village, Illinois area, you might also be interested in exploring other residential options such as mobile home communities for potential long-term living. While our platform category primarily focuses on RV parks, we aim to provide local users with information about various housing choices in their vicinity. In this context, we introduce Weatherstone Lakes, located at 21191 Torrence Ave, Sauk Village, IL 60411, USA. You can contact them by phone at (708) 758-8122 or +1 708-758-8122.
To provide local users with a detailed and objective overview of Weatherstone Lakes, we will analyze the available feedback from customer reviews. These reviews offer contrasting perspectives on the community, which is important to consider when evaluating potential long-term living options.
One reviewer shares a positive experience with Lisa Lalich in Sales, noting her helpfulness in navigating an application renewal at what they refer to as "Alpine Village," which appears to be associated with the same management or location. This reviewer expresses appreciation for Lisa's efforts and notes a perceived positive change in how management operates, indicating a potentially improving aspect of the community.
However, other reviews present significant concerns. One reviewer describes the "place is hole" and recounts a negative experience where management was reportedly unaccommodating regarding a minor shortfall in lot fees for their dying father. This reviewer also details significant issues with a brand-new home they purchased, including a leaking roof and windows that required numerous fixes over ten years, yet continued to leak. They also mention that the "subdivision floods," instances of vandalism (broken window and car break-ins), infrequent functioning of ground lights, non-residents fishing in the community, and an abundance of "goose poop." The reviewer concludes with strong negative sentiments about the office staff, calling them "lying thieves."
Another detailed review focuses on a specific property at 189 Blue Jay Dr, which the reviewer states was their parents' house that was "stolen" and is now up for sale. They list several significant issues with this property that they claim potential buyers won't be told. These include leaking windows and skylights, problematic plumbing that prevents dishwasher use, a refrigerator left with rotten meat causing a fly infestation, a back sliding door left open to the elements for over two years, and trees/bushes growing from under the house, suggesting a compromised slab and root intrusion into the main drain, causing slow-flushing toilets. Additionally, this reviewer corroborates the goose poop issue, stating that geese from the lake will defecate on lawns, and residents will then be ticketed for animal waste on their property. They also mention increasing lot fees for homes that are difficult or impossible to move without falling apart. The reviewer expresses disbelief at the listed sale price compared to what their family paid in 2003 and the extensive repair issues they faced, strongly advising against buying in this park or mobile home parks in general, labeling it a "scam."
Based on these reviews, Weatherstone Lakes presents a mixed and concerning picture. While there is a positive note regarding the sales representative and a perceived improvement in management by one reviewer, the other feedback raises serious issues about property conditions (leaking roofs, windows, flooding), safety (vandalism, lack of police presence, malfunctioning lights), management practices (unwillingness to work with residents, ticketing for goose poop), and overall living conditions (goose poop, non-residents fishing). The detailed account of problems with a specific property further underscores potential risks associated with buying within this community.
Typically, an introduction to a mobile home park would cover the types of homes or lots available, amenities, community environment, and management. However, the provided reviews offer limited information about amenities but significant details regarding the environment and management, mostly negative. The environment is described as prone to flooding and affected by goose poop, with safety concerns due to vandalism and infrequent police presence. Management is portrayed negatively by some reviewers, citing issues with fees, maintenance response, and honesty.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" who might be considering a move to a mobile home community for long-term living, the information available for Weatherstone Lakes suggests the need for significant caution and thorough investigation. The stark contrast between the positive mention of a sales representative and the numerous serious complaints about property conditions and management indicates a community with potential challenges.
Given the strong negative feedback, there is no basis for presenting any promotional information for Weatherstone Lakes at this time. Instead, it is crucial to highlight the concerns raised by residents to ensure that local users are aware of potential issues if they consider this community.
If you are considering Weatherstone Lakes, it is strongly recommended that you conduct extensive due diligence. This should include visiting the property, speaking with multiple current residents to get a balanced perspective, and thoroughly investigating the condition of any property you might be interested in renting or buying. Inquiring about the community's policies on lot fees, maintenance, security, and animal control (specifically regarding geese) would also be essential.
In conclusion, the available reviews for Weatherstone Lakes in Sauk Village, IL, present a community with significant concerns regarding property conditions, management, safety, and the overall living environment, according to some residents. While one positive note mentions a helpful sales representative and perceived management improvement, the overwhelming feedback points to serious potential drawbacks for prospective residents. Local users searching for long-term housing options near "RV parks near me" should carefully consider these points and conduct thorough research before making any decisions regarding Weatherstone Lakes.

Weatherstone Lakes Reviews
Lisa Lalich in Sales continues to be a helpful rep of Alpine Village, assisting me in navigating to a successful application renewal. I couldn’t be more appreciate of her efforts and I have definitely seen change in how management operates ♥️🙏🏼
Jun 27, 2024 · Bri MPlace is hole. They wouldn't even work with my dying father when he was 40 dollars short on lot fee. We bought brand new and had to have the leaking roof and windows fixed at least 30 times, i still have the work orders. They still leaked 10 years later. The subdivision floods. Riff raff broke a window on our house and broke into our cars. Police are never present. The lights on the grounds rarely work. People who dont live there come fish. Goose poop all over. The office are lying thieves. They couldn't pour pi*s out a boot with directions on the bottom.I see my parents house that was stolen is finally up for sale. Here's what they wont tell you about 189 Blue jay dr.The windows leak when it rains. Each and every sky light leaks. The plumbing is so bad you can't use the dishwasher. The fridge was filled with rotten meat for months and the house filled with flies. The back sliding door was left open to the elements for over 2 years. There shouldn't be trees and bushes growing out from under the house. It means the slab is prob compromised and the roots have taken the main drain. Which is why the toliets slow flush. Additionally, the geese will come from the lake, poop on ur lawn, and then weather stone will ticket you for animal poop on your property. All while raising your lot fee for a house you can't move or it will fall apart. We paid 63,000 for it back in like 2003. We had over 40 plus work orders put in for the ceiling and windows leaking. I cannot believe they think it's worth 70,000. 150,000 on a spent for a trailer that has been rained in for decades has got to be a crime. Do. Not. Buy. Here. Or trailers in parks in general. Its a scam.

May 20, 2023 · Elenia HudsonIngrid has been amazing and provided me great advice encouraging me to be a home owner at your property! I cannot believe she's been there less than a month. Her and her RCM made me a homeowner within 2 days! Definitely check out Ingrid at Inspire communities!
May 02, 2023 · Glenn VinesI went into the office on 3/9/2023 I walked into the office to get information about renting a home the two ladies were very rude and unprofessional. They did not attempt to ask if I needed help. There was Noone in the office when I walked in I sat for 15 minutes without any assistance. The moment another lady walked in of a different race one of the ladies jump up to help her. If this was any indication of what living here would be like. I am so happy I didn't spend my hard earned money to receive this treatment. They really need to fire their office staff.
