Wellington Estates Manufactured Home Community Introduce
If you are exploring housing options in the Arden, North Carolina area, and your search on platforms under the category "RV Parks Near Me" has led you to consider manufactured home communities for a more permanent living arrangement, Wellington Estates Manufactured Home Community, located at 42 Avalon Dr, Arden, NC 28704, USA, is worth considering. You can reach them at (828) 684-8558 or their mobile number, +1 828-684-8558, for inquiries about residency and community information.
Based on the available customer reviews, the experience of living at Wellington Estates appears to be somewhat varied. One reviewer expressed disappointment regarding a rent concession issue. They stated they were offered a concession for March rent but, due to having two lots, only received it for one. Despite attempts to resolve this with the manager and regional manager, their situation was not accommodated, leading to a feeling of unfair treatment. This feedback suggests that while promotional offers might be extended, their application in unique circumstances may not always meet individual expectations.
In contrast, another long-term resident, who has lived at Wellington Estates for 11 years across two different homes, provides a more comprehensive perspective. They acknowledge that, like any community with neighbors, issues and disagreements can arise. Despite what they consider "high lot rent," they still find it to be the "cheapest place in buncombe county," indicating a potential affordability factor relative to the surrounding area. This long-term resident expresses no intention of moving, suggesting an overall satisfaction with the community despite any drawbacks.
Regarding management, the long-term resident notes that there have been two different management teams during their time there. They offer a pragmatic view, stating, "Its a business. They are not there to be your friend." While acknowledging personal disagreements with management at times, they also mention instances where management has acted as an advocate. This suggests that interactions with management can be situational and might not always align with individual expectations of personal relationships.
A significant positive aspect highlighted by the long-term resident is the presence of security cameras throughout the community. They explicitly state, "The cameras everywhere i like. It provides added protection." This feature appears to contribute to a sense of security, as the resident reports never having experienced package theft or a home break-in during their 11 years there. This focus on security can be a significant draw for potential residents.
Furthermore, the long-term resident mentions a "collective sense of community" at Wellington Estates. This intangible aspect can greatly enhance the living experience, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual support among residents. Despite any challenges, the presence of a community spirit is a valuable asset.
In summary, based on the available reviews, Wellington Estates Manufactured Home Community offers:
- A long-term residential option in Arden, North Carolina.
- A sense of community, as reported by a long-term resident.
- The presence of security cameras throughout the property, contributing to resident safety.
- Potentially affordable lot rent compared to other options in Buncombe County.
- A location within the Arden area, offering access to local amenities and the broader region.
However, potential residents should also be aware of:
- A reported instance of dissatisfaction with the application of a rent concession in a unique situation, suggesting that individual circumstances might not always be fully accommodated.
- A pragmatic view of management as a business, where interactions might not always be personal.
- The possibility of disagreements or issues arising, as in any community living situation.
While Wellington Estates is a manufactured home community and not a traditional RV park catering to short-term stays, individuals seeking a long-term and potentially affordable housing option in Arden, NC, might find it suitable. The presence of security cameras and a sense of community are notable positives. However, it is advisable for prospective residents to directly contact Wellington Estates at (828) 684-8558 or +1 828-684-8558 to gather detailed information about current lot availability, rental rates, community rules and regulations, and to address any specific concerns they may have based on the varied feedback.
Understanding the specific environment, services, and features offered by Wellington Estates will require direct communication with the management. Inquire about lot sizes, utility hookups, waste disposal, and any community amenities that may be available. By engaging directly with Wellington Estates, potential residents can gain a clearer picture of whether this manufactured home community aligns with their individual needs and expectations for long-term living in Arden, North Carolina.

Wellington Estates Manufactured Home Community Reviews
They do not care about a quality. I received a letter stating that they was giving the month of March rent concession. I have a unique situation because I have 2 lots. I called because I was only given the concession for 1 of the lots that I pay for. Tater talking with the manager and then the regional manager I was told that it would not be given because everyone only got the base. My 2 lots situation was not even a consideration so I was not given fair treatment. I find this disappointing.
Feb 26, 2025 · Michael KingI have lived here 11 years now. I lived in two different homes as well. Like any place where you have neighbors, issues will come up and disagreements will occur. Even with the high lot rent its still the cheapest place in buncombe county. I have no intention of moving. As to the management, The current management is the second in my time there. Its a business. They are not there to be your friend. I've had my disagreements with them at times and other times they have been my advocate. I feel people now a days expect too much. The cameras everywhere i like. It provides added protection. In the 11 years there ive never had a package stolen or my home broke into. There is a collective sense of community there. with all things considered. The good and the bad i still say its 5 stars.
Sep 25, 2024 · Jacob SechrestI’d like to know if residents have been checked on in any way since Hurricane Helene hit the area? Has any type of assistance been offered to the residents or information about assistance available in the community? An interpreter perhaps to assist the non-English speaking residents? Or was it just the notices about rent being due?
Oct 05, 2024 · Stephanie LoganThis was nuts. Approved for one part but not the second. App fees being non-refundable should be illegal if denied in every state. And credit shouldn't be ran period bc places like this one and ALL the rest that scam people lower their credit score even more and makes it even harder for anything to open. Do better for the people that have spent over $1000 in JUST APP FEES.
Aug 20, 2023 · Shannon MinchenerIt is definitely a clean Mobile home Park it doesn't look like the biggest redneck / majority of times you go into a mobile home / trailer park you tend to get the gut feeling if it sends you as comfortable or uncomfortable this one is definitely the comfortable level. The only downfall with this mobile home park is there is a lot of mobile homes there there is no privacy whatsoever and the yard is no yard it's just a little patch of grass on every mobile home but then again it's a nice clean Mobile home Park.. it is a little pricey compared to most but if you're wanting privacy do not think about this spot...
