You can easily reach them at (520) 578-1715 or +1 520-578-1715 to inquire about availability and make reservations.
Western Way consistently receives high praise for its exceptional staff. One guest who stayed for just one night specifically highlighted the office staff, Donna, and the manager, noting that they were "really helpful and so friendly," making their brief stay a "pleasure." This positive interaction underscores the welcoming and customer-oriented approach at Western Way.
Another group of travelers, consisting of two couples in two RVs, shared their "great experience" at Western Way during a recent visit. They arrived a day earlier than planned, and they were particularly impressed by Craig, who went above and beyond to accommodate them despite the park being at full capacity. This flexibility and willingness to assist guests in unexpected situations is a significant testament to the park's commitment to customer satisfaction.
Upon arrival, the camp host, Mike, also made a strong positive impression. He was described as "super helpful" in getting the group situated. When they encountered an issue with their RV's power connection (not having a 50 to 30 amp converter), Mike generously lent them his own. He also periodically checked in on them and provided valuable information, further enhancing their stay. This level of personal attention and support from the camp host contributes significantly to a welcoming and stress-free experience for guests.
Donna at the front desk also received high accolades from this group. She was described as "amazing," "extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating." This consistent praise for Donna across multiple reviews suggests that she plays a key role in creating a positive first and lasting impression for visitors at Western Way.
While this group did not use the bathrooms, one member did take advantage of the laundry facilities and found them to be "super clean" with everything in "working order," which is a crucial amenity for RV travelers, especially those on longer journeys. The availability of an iron and ironing board was a particularly appreciated convenience, as these are not standard luxuries in most RVs. The reviewer humorously noted that this allowed them to enjoy Valentine's Day without wrinkles, highlighting the thoughtful provision of these amenities.
The convenience of Western Way's location is also a significant advantage. A Dollar General store is located right across the street, making it easy for guests to access everyday necessities and supplies without having to travel far. Additionally, it was noted that Western Way also offers "safe and secured RV storage," which is a valuable service for those who may need to store their RV either before or after their stay, or for local residents looking for a secure storage solution.
For recent retirees embarking on their RV adventures, Western Way provided an "awesome start" to their journey. The combination of friendly and helpful staff, clean and functional facilities, convenient location, and accommodating service creates a welcoming and supportive environment for travelers, especially those new to the RV lifestyle.
One review did mention a potential surprise cost: a $25 fee for checking in before 2:30 PM. While this guest found the daily cost to be "expensive," they did note that Western Way accepts Good Sam, which can provide a discount to members and potentially offset the daily rate. The fact that the pool, showers, and other amenities "all looked nice" suggests that the park offers a range of facilities for guests to enjoy, even if this particular reviewer did not utilize them during their short stay.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," Western Way clearly excels in providing a positive experience through its exceptional customer service, clean and functional amenities, and convenient location. The willingness of the staff to go the extra mile to accommodate guests, as highlighted by fitting in early arrivals and lending equipment, sets Western Way apart. The availability of laundry facilities, and even an iron and ironing board, caters well to the needs of RV travelers.
For local users in Tucson or those planning a visit to the area in their RV, Western Way offers a welcoming and convenient base. The positive reviews consistently emphasize the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, making guests feel valued and well-cared for. The proximity to a Dollar General adds a practical benefit for stocking up on essentials. The availability of secured RV storage is also a significant advantage for those who may need it.
While the daily cost might be a consideration for some, the acceptance of Good Sam could provide a valuable discount. Potential guests should inquire about the specific rates and any potential early check-in fees when making their reservations. However, the overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the staff and the overall experience suggests that the service and convenience offered at Western Way justify the cost for many travelers.
In conclusion, Western Way in Tucson, AZ, is highly recommended for RV travelers seeking a park with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, clean and well-maintained facilities (including laundry), and a convenient location near amenities like a Dollar General. The accommodating service, as highlighted by their willingness to fit in early arrivals and lend equipment, ensures a positive and stress-free experience. While there might be a fee for early check-in and the daily rates may be perceived as somewhat high, the acceptance of Good Sam and the overwhelmingly positive reviews regarding the staff and overall experience make Western Way a strong contender when searching for "RV parks near me" in Tucson.

Only stayed one nite. Office staff Donna and manager were really helpful and so friendly. A pleasure.Costs $25 if you check in before 2:30. That was a surprise. Daily cost is expensive but they take Good Sam. Didn't use the pool, showers, or amenities but all looked nice.
May 10, 2025 · Kristi LafrentzHad a great experience at Western Way last week. We travelled as two couples in two RV’s. We arrived a day early and Craig was awesome in fitting us in despite the park being at capacity. We were welcome by the camp host Mike, who was super helpful in getting us situated, as we didn’t have a 50 to a 30 converter, he lent us his. He checked in periodically and was super informative. Donna at the front desk was also amazing. She was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Didn’t use the bathrooms, but I took advantage of the laundry. Super clean and everything was in working order, which was great. The iron and ironing board came in handy as I don’t have those luxuries in my RV. It was nice to go out on Valentines Day without wrinkles! Dollar General right across the street was very convenient, and it was good to know that they also have safe and secured RV storage. As recent retirees, Western Way was an awesome start to our adventure..
Feb 17, 2025 · Donna LibertiOur winter destination stopped here at Western Way. This RV Park with wonderful views and residents was most enticing. The sunsets, Saguaro National Park, and many attractions are going to keep us in the Tucson area. UNFORTUNATELY, we were made to move after a week to what we were expecting to be a winter stay. WE were told after a month we were going to have to MOVE again as they had a previous reservation at the spot we were at! Needless to say this is NOT what they said and we have decided to go to another park not far away. Other things that was disappointing was the location of the dog park across a busy street, constant water shut offs due to leaks of a bad supply lines, and dumpsters located in a locked area that has bad access. More than one permanent residents told as this park is under staffed while being overworked, and owners are neglecting updates while using band aid fixes.
Dec 05, 2024 · David HesterlyGreat location for hiking in the west part of the National Park. Good cycling nearby as well. Nice little extras like clotheslines for laundry and reasonably priced laundry services with a change machine! The park has a friendly community atmosphere even though we were just passing through.
Apr 11, 2023 · Ruth BarwellThis park is very well maintained and had a great pool area and laundry facilities. The staff and permanent residents are wonderful. One big issue, I never had a moment of peace. The three park models surrounding me were under major renovation. Constant table saws, drills and hammers, seven days a week, all day long. I couldn't enjoy a meal or afternoon rest. I haven't experienced this in any rv resort nationally. I would think there would be some oversight and coordination of major projects during the high season and limitations on some times and days, like meal times and weekends. During the night, a malfunctioning HVAC system made a sound like a gunshot every time it stopped.Tried to escape to the pool. Pickle ball is next to the pool, they even play Sunday afternoon. There doesn't seem to be any rules to ensure everyone can enjoy the area, as folks are playing country music loudly on speakers and practicing piano for hours adjacent to the pool which could be heard over earbuds. I was exhausted at the end of my stay from the constant noise. I live in a city, couldn't wait to get back to the quiet.
