Willow Green Mobile Home Community Introduce
Willow Green Mobile Home Community is located at 2500 W Mt Houston Rd, Houston, TX 77038, USA, and can be contacted at (346) 472-5500 or +1 346-472-5500. For individuals seeking information about mobile home parks in the Houston area, or those who might be searching under the category of 'RV parks near me' with the possibility of finding long-term RV sites within a mobile home community, the limited but impactful customer reviews available for Willow Green Mobile Home Community present some serious concerns that warrant careful consideration.
One of the most critical issues raised by a resident is the problem of recurring flooding. The review explicitly states that the park "floods all the way up to the cars when it rains...every time!!!" This indicates a significant drainage problem within the community, which can lead to property damage, inconvenience, and potential safety hazards for residents and their vehicles. Frequent and severe flooding is a major environmental concern that prospective residents or RVers should take very seriously, as it can impact their living conditions and investments.
Adding to these environmental concerns are complaints regarding the management of Willow Green Mobile Home Community. The same reviewer who mentioned the flooding also noted that the rent has been raised "3 xs since another company took over," yet there have been "still no improvements" to justify these increases. This suggests a potential disconnect between the rising cost of living in the community and the quality of services and infrastructure provided. Rent increases without corresponding improvements can lead to dissatisfaction among residents and raise questions about the value proposition of living in Willow Green Mobile Home Community.
Another deeply concerning review highlights issues with both the unresponsiveness of the management and the safety of the community. This reviewer stated that they "literally called the office over 20 times and not once. Did they pick up the phone on business hours." Such a lack of communication and accessibility to the management can be incredibly frustrating for residents needing to report issues, seek assistance, or clarify concerns. It raises questions about the level of support and attention residents can expect from the park's administration.
The same review also details a severe safety issue involving an "aggressive pitbull in the neighborhood attacking dogs and attacking me and my dog." The reviewer emphasizes that this dog had been reported to the office previously, yet "they have not once done anything" to address the problem. The presence of an aggressive animal within a residential community poses a significant threat to the safety and well-being of residents and their pets. The alleged inaction by the management despite being aware of the issue is particularly troubling and suggests a lack of commitment to ensuring a safe living environment for all.
Considering these reviews, the environment of Willow Green Mobile Home Community appears to be negatively impacted by the recurring flooding issues. The lack of improvements despite rent increases suggests a potential decline in the quality of the community under new management. Furthermore, the presence of an aggressive dog and the alleged unresponsiveness of the office contribute to an unsafe and frustrating living environment for at least some residents.
In terms of services and features, the limited information available through these reviews does not provide a comprehensive overview. However, the complaints about the lack of improvements despite rent increases might imply that essential services are not being adequately maintained or upgraded. Basic services in a mobile home community typically include water, sewer, and electrical hookups for each lot, as well as trash removal and maintenance of common areas. The severe flooding issue suggests potential inadequacies in the park's drainage system, which is a crucial aspect of infrastructure. The lack of response from the office, as reported by one reviewer, raises concerns about the reliability of management services.
Features such as laundry facilities, recreational areas, community centers, or pet amenities are not mentioned in the reviews. Given the significant negative feedback regarding flooding, rent increases without improvements, and safety concerns related to an aggressive dog and unresponsive management, the presence and quality of any additional features are secondary concerns at this point. Potential residents would need to inquire specifically about the availability and condition of any amenities offered by Willow Green Mobile Home Community.
For individuals searching for 'RV parks near me' in Houston, it is unclear from the provided information whether Willow Green Mobile Home Community offers RV sites. Mobile home parks primarily cater to long-term residents living in manufactured homes, but some may have a limited number of spaces for RVs, often on a long-term basis. If Willow Green does offer RV sites, the issues of flooding and the alleged lack of management responsiveness and safety concerns would be equally relevant for RV travelers considering a stay there. It would be essential to inquire about the specific conditions of the RV sites, including hookups and any amenities available to RV guests, while also keeping in mind the negative feedback from mobile home residents.
No promotional information is mentioned in the provided reviews. Given the serious nature of the complaints, it is unlikely that potential residents or RVers would be swayed by any promotional offers without first addressing the fundamental issues of flooding, management responsiveness, and safety.
In conclusion, the limited customer reviews available for Willow Green Mobile Home Community in Houston, TX, paint a concerning picture. The recurring and severe flooding, coupled with multiple rent increases without apparent improvements, suggests significant infrastructure and management issues. The alleged unresponsiveness of the office and the failure to address the presence of an aggressive dog raise serious safety concerns for residents and their pets. For those seeking mobile home living or potentially long-term RV stays under the category of 'RV parks near me', Willow Green Mobile Home Community appears to have significant drawbacks that should be carefully considered. Prospective residents and RVers are strongly advised to proceed with extreme caution, seek further information from multiple sources, and potentially explore other options in the Houston area that offer a safer, more stable, and better-managed living environment. Direct contact with Willow Green Mobile Home Community at (346) 472-5500 or +1 346-472-5500 to inquire about these issues and the management's response would be a necessary step for anyone still considering this community, but the current feedback suggests significant risks.
