Wood Acres Community Introduce
For local users seeking residential options in Mobile, Alabama, perhaps within the broader category of "RV parks near me" as a starting point for exploring various housing solutions, Wood Acres Community, located at 8130 Tanner Williams Rd, Mobile, AL 36608, USA, presents an interesting option. You can reach them at (251) 408-9116 or their mobile number +1 251-408-9116 for inquiries about rentals and community information.
Based on recent customer reviews, Wood Acres Community offers a unique perspective on mobile home park living. One resident noted, "The trailer park is not the best (what parks are?), but it is clean, the landlord is amazing, and the rentals are a very nice price." This honest assessment acknowledges that mobile home parks, in general, might have certain perceptions, but it immediately highlights several key positives about Wood Acres: cleanliness, an exceptional landlord, and affordability.
The reviewer further commented that "The landscape seems to be kept very well these days," indicating that efforts are being made to maintain and improve the aesthetic appeal of the community. This is a significant factor in creating a pleasant living environment for residents. The reviewer also mentioned seeing past negative reviews but stated that their personal experience has been positive, suggesting that improvements may have been implemented or that individual experiences can vary.
Addressing concerns about pests, the resident noted that "The only bugs we see are the flies that try to run in from outside," implying that pest control within the homes and the community is reasonably effective. This is an important aspect of comfortable living in any residential setting.
Providing specific details about a rental unit, the reviewer mentioned that their son moved into a "small 3 bedroom, with one bathroom, not much kitchen counter space," but found it to be a good value at $750 per month. They also expressed optimism about personalizing the space to make it "cute," indicating that while the units might be basic, they offer an affordable foundation for comfortable living. The fact that a three-bedroom unit is available at this price point could be a significant draw for families or individuals seeking budget-friendly housing in Mobile.
Adding another dimension to the understanding of Wood Acres Community is a response from someone identifying themselves as "Donna," seemingly associated with the management. This detailed and heartfelt message provides valuable insights into the current ethos and efforts within the community. Donna states, "I know that we have been working as diligent as humanly possible to make this community a great place for every family to call 'home'!" This proactive statement underscores a commitment to improving and fostering a positive living environment for all residents.
Donna's message encourages residents to reach out for assistance, stating, "If anyone is in need of assistance that we can assist with please reach out to us. We will be more than obliged to assist." This reinforces the positive feedback about the landlord and suggests a management team that is responsive and willing to help residents, contributing to a supportive community atmosphere.
Acknowledging that the company might be new, Donna mentions, "I know it's a new company, but we're really working hard to correct any issues that may arise as soon as we can." This transparency about ongoing efforts to improve the community can be reassuring for prospective residents. The acceptance of potential human error ("we aren't exempt from human error, so I certainly apologize if somethings aren't done perfectly") adds a layer of humility and realism to their commitment.
The scale of the management's responsibilities is highlighted with the mention of "Keeping up with three properties isn't easy, but my coworkers & I are certainly up to the task of giving you 110% if that's what it requires of us." This dedication to providing a high level of service despite the challenges suggests a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to meet the needs of the residents at Wood Acres Community.
Donna concludes with a clear mission: "At the end of the day we want each and everyone of you to be happy with calling Wood Acres home!!" This reiterates the focus on resident satisfaction and creating a positive community. The inclusion of a welcoming message for a "new baby tenant" ("Baby👶🏼 Lee" the new bundle of joy👩🏼🍼 to our Wood Acres Family!!) further suggests a family-friendly and inclusive environment within the community.
Based on these reviews, the environment of Wood Acres Community appears to be undergoing positive development, with attention to cleanliness and landscaping. While the rental units might be basic, they are offered at an affordable price point. The standout feature seems to be the attentive and caring management, dedicated to improving the community and assisting residents. The welcoming of a new baby tenant hints at a family-oriented atmosphere.
Specific services and amenities are not detailed in the reviews, but prospective residents should inquire about essential utilities (water, sewer, electricity), trash removal, and any communal facilities that might be available. The management's proactive stance suggests they are likely responsive to resident needs in these areas.
Features of the community, such as lot sizes, parking arrangements, and specific rules or regulations, would need to be obtained directly from the management. Similarly, information about the availability of different unit sizes and layouts would be important for those considering residency.
Regarding promotional information, the reviews do not mention any specific offers or incentives. Local users should contact Wood Acres Community directly to inquire about current rental rates, security deposits, lease terms, and any potential promotions for new residents.
For local users who might have initially searched under "RV parks near me," Wood Acres Community, as a mobile home park offering long-term rentals, provides a different type of residential solution. While not catering to transient RV travelers, it offers an affordable housing option with a seemingly supportive management team for those seeking a more permanent living situation in the Mobile area.
In conclusion, Wood Acres Community in Mobile, Alabama, offers affordable rental homes within a community that is reportedly clean and benefits from an amazing and dedicated landlord and management team. While specific details about amenities and unit features require direct inquiry, the positive trends and commitment to resident well-being, as highlighted in the reviews, suggest a community worth considering for those seeking budget-friendly living in Mobile. The trailer park is not the best (what parks are?), but it is clean, the landlord is amazing, and the rentals are a very nice price. The landscape seems to be kept very well these days. I saw bad reviews, but we have not had that experience. The only bugs we see are the flies that try to run in from outside. My son moved into a small 3 bedroom, with one bathroom, not much kitchen counter space, but once we dress it up, it will be cute. He is only paying $750 per month. We are not complaining. ❤❤❤

Nov 24, 2024 · Mrs. Donna'Extremely poor maintenance and management.Everytime we put in a work order, or tell management we need maintenance, they say they will fix it and NEVER do. This has been going on since 2020. There’s a crack in the ceiling they were supposed to fix FOUR YEARS ago from the previous maintenance person almost falling in through there, water damage from a window not being put in properly so the wall underneath is literally crumbling, and has mold in it now due to not being fixed when it was SUPPOSED to. Our AC has been broken for a straight week, getting up to 87 degrees inside the trailer, and they told us “they would get to it when they get to it”. Are you serious ???? It’s 100-110 degrees outside in the summer, NO ONE should live like this.maybe I’ll update my review once or IF we actually get maintenance, but I’m fed up. No maintenance in a 1982 trailer for 4 years after we’ve asked MULTIPLE times, kept them updated on what’s going on, continuously put in work orders, and even have a paper SIGNED by them the dates they were supposed to fix everything… it NEVER happened and they had an entire week where we were gone out of their way, that they signed and said would happen/be fixed. Somethings got to give. We pay our rent on time, we deserve to have maintenance when something breaks, especially when it’s the AC unit in the middle of summer 🤷🏻♀️. they sure as heck wouldn’t let their office get like this, so I don’t know why they expect tenants live like this. I’ve held off putting a review for years, but the AC unit is my last straw. Picture provided is our ceiling, THEY CRACKED, and were supposed to fix FOUR YEARS AGO.
Jul 03, 2024 · SpringoRent is 900 and it’s hard to even have internet and water in this area without it being extremely expensive. A lot of the trailers are moldy and have problems like leaks. Slugs, tree roaches, spiders, mites, and termites, mice and other things get in because the trailers are so exposed. They barely cleaned anything before we moved in. There were cobwebs, messed up paint, and no shower heads. They didn’t even clean out the vents which were filled with trash. We had to spray the entire place for bugs 5 times. Wood Acres also overcharges and steals people’s money.Power bills during the summer and winter are at least 300-400 since the ac barely works if it works at all. Water is 150 every month. Don’t use their site to pay online because then they’ll have your credit card information that they can charge anytime for no reason, keep all proof that you paid on time every month because they’ll try to say you didn’t.You have to fix things yourself a lot because the walls are really weak, the light bulbs constantly go out, you aren't allowed to hire someone to fix anything in the trailer, and they are rarely at the office when they are supposed to be. Also in the lease, it says that they charge people that speed and drive recklessly through here but they don’t and they let anyone move in here including predators so be cautious.
Dec 01, 2023 · Sidney DavisThe new company that bought it is doing their best as full as remodeling everything there is upgrading everything and I noticed some of the people that's posted on here don't even live in this park so they don't know what's going on in this park so I get this a five-star because the company that is bought it is trying their best to get this part back to the beautiful state that it needs to be in
