They can be contacted at (210) 400-0224 or +1 210-400-0224. When considering an RV park, understanding its environment, the services and amenities offered, and the experiences of other travelers is crucial for making the right choice. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Woodland Oaks RV Estates based on the available customer reviews.
The customer feedback for Woodland Oaks RV Estates offers a somewhat polarized perspective, with one review being overwhelmingly positive and the other expressing significant dissatisfaction. The positive review paints a picture of a "beautiful place to stay," highly recommending it for both short-term and long-term RVers. The reviewer praises the manager, Julie, for her understanding, graciousness, excellent customer service, and pleasant personality, highlighting her suitability for assisting with guest needs. The park's environment is described as "wonderful, tree studded (lots of lots in the shade) well taken care of, clean, pet friendly, spacious, laid back, casual and people friendly." These are attractive qualities for many RV travelers seeking comfort and a welcoming atmosphere.
Furthermore, the positive review details the amenities offered at Woodland Oaks RV Estates. It mentions an on-site laundry facility and individual slips equipped with their own electric meter, as well as water and sewer hookups. The pricing structure is also highlighted as inclusive of water, sewer, trash removal, and "great high-speed Internet," with residents only responsible for their individual electric usage. This all-inclusive approach to utilities, except for electricity, can provide cost predictability for both short-term and long-term stays. The location is described as south of San Antonio in a quiet, secluded area with easy access to Loop 1604 and various highways, facilitating travel to the coast, the Texas Hill Country, theme parks, and local attractions like the San Antonio Spurs, Missions Baseball, and Ice Hockey. The reviewer emphasizes the park's proximity to the city and the Riverwalk, as well as the historic Missions, while still maintaining a "remote feel," offering a balance between tranquility and access to urban amenities and activities. The review concludes with a strong recommendation for this "very reasonably priced gorgeous RV community," deeming it "highly rated and recommended lovely place."
In stark contrast, the negative review expresses significant dissatisfaction, stating, "Where to start… Such a great time here!" ironically, before detailing a series of complaints. A major issue raised is the lack of adherence to quiet hours, with the reviewer noting that "Quiet time is not a thing here be as loud as you can for everyone who has work in the morning!" They also mention instances of people working on their cars late at night, further disrupting the peace. The laundry room is criticized for having "zero ac and bugs all over the place," suggesting a lack of comfort and cleanliness in this shared facility. The reviewer also points out a lack of clear communication regarding essential information, such as the laundry room code, which was reportedly not provided in the paperwork and not readily available. Additionally, the condition of the parking spots is described negatively as a "really great dirt bike track of spots to park," implying uneven or poorly maintained parking areas. The review concludes with a recommendation to "Just spend a little more money and get in a better park," suggesting a belief that the value and quality offered by Woodland Oaks RV Estates are not satisfactory.
Considering these two contrasting reviews, it is evident that experiences at Woodland Oaks RV Estates can vary significantly. The positive review highlights numerous attractive features, including a pleasant environment, helpful management, comprehensive amenities, and a convenient location. However, the negative review raises serious concerns about noise levels, the condition of the laundry facility, communication issues, and the quality of the parking spots. For local users searching for "RV parks near me," these differing perspectives underscore the importance of considering individual priorities and potentially seeking additional information or visiting the park to form their own assessment.
When evaluating "RV parks near me" for either short-term or long-term stays, factors such as the quality of the amenities, the peacefulness of the environment, the responsiveness of the management, and the overall value for money are typically key considerations. Woodland Oaks RV Estates appears to offer a good range of amenities, including full hookups and internet, and its location provides a balance between a quiet setting and access to San Antonio's attractions. However, the issues raised in the negative review regarding noise and facility maintenance should not be overlooked.
Prospective residents or visitors might want to inquire specifically about the park's policies on quiet hours and how they are enforced. It would also be prudent to ask about the maintenance and cleanliness of the laundry facilities and the condition of the parking areas. Speaking with current residents, if possible, could provide further insights into the day-to-day living experience at Woodland Oaks RV Estates.
The positive review's mention of a pet-friendly environment is a significant advantage for RV travelers with animals. The shade provided by the "tree studded" lots is also a desirable feature, particularly in the Texas climate. The inclusive pricing for water, sewer, trash, and internet can simplify budgeting for expenses during the stay.
In conclusion, Woodland Oaks RV Estates in San Antonio, Texas, offers a location with potential benefits such as a tree-filled environment, inclusive amenities (excluding electricity), and convenient access to both city attractions and surrounding areas. The positive review highlights a helpful manager and a pleasant atmosphere. However, the negative review raises concerns about noise, facility maintenance, and communication. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" should weigh these contrasting experiences and consider their own priorities when evaluating Woodland Oaks RV Estates. Further inquiry and potentially a visit to the park may be necessary to determine if it is the right fit for their needs.

Mar 30, 2024 · Will JonesAwful experience, the owner is rude to say the VERY least.Breaking state and federal laws evicting someone with ESA Animals stating “not on my property “ but allows crack heads to live there worry free. Kids roam the neighborhood with their parents nowhere near by. The managers are always sharing others information like it’s tea!
Jul 22, 2024 · Laura MooreI moved here a couple months ago and have enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful landscape. There are beautiful, big Oak Trees throughout the park. Its country living, but close traveling distance to Pleasanton, Poteet, Von Ormy, Elmendorf, and Somerset for those who love visiting small towns.
Jun 20, 2024 · cecelia mcculloughVery peaceful country living just 15 minutes from downtown San Antonio. Close to several hiking/ biking trails. Very personable manager.
