#1 Rock Tavern River Kamp Reviews
I cannot express just how much we enjoyed being at this campground. It was clean, peaceful, and the river almost a spa to enjoy during the summer heat. The close proximity to the other campers almost created a mini community that enjoy the space together. I was appreciative of the 11 o clock quite down time it made for such a calming night time experience. Annette goes above and beyond to make sure her guest are happy and that the camp is in tip top shape. The yurts are wonderful to look at and very clean and included enough kitchen gear to help so you don't need to bring a whole kitchen yourself. We really can't wait to get a chance to stay here again. Hopefully in the same Dancing Wolf Yurt if we can snag a reservation with it!
Jul 08, 2024 · Naynay DThe space is VERY SMALL!! My group of 4 stayed in tents. The space is right on the water and enjoyable if you're able to block out the other campers in your pocket. The other campers were all nice. The grounds are clean and maintained nicely, the bathhouse was clean and cute, very welcoming! Fire wood was available and the location is by the local town so you can just run and grab what you need when you need it. Fishing, swimming, floating is available at this location; lots of various wildlife to enjoy; can pay extra and use the doc down the road to drop off for a float, and end at the campsite. I enjoyed the built in benches by the fire pit.
May 30, 2024 · Amber R.Camp is very close to the road where people will honk at you. Campsites are all very close together and sometimes people have trouble following the quiet hours rule. The water is fine, but it tastes and smells heavily like sulfur just fyi. Campsite #6 has very little shade but I think the other ones have more. Management was very kind, these are just the realities of the space that we weren’t expecting as experienced campers.
Jul 02, 2024 · Andrea WestonAnnette and Monica are so helpful and wonderful people. We had along girl's weekend in late August there. We stayed in the Hummingbird yurt, which was perfect. Monica took us around to see all the other yurts, each one was beautiful and charming. Annette and Monica are down to earth people. We loved being on the river and most of all tubing. It was peaceful and fun. This review is way over due. I am planning on a family trip soon mid-week.
Feb 01, 2022 · KimWe LOVED our stay in the Blue Bird Yurt. Right on the river, beautiful scenery and comfortable accommodations. Annette and Monica were so friendly and helpful! Tip for people who have booked: READ THE EMAIL. It is long but it has everything you could possibly want to know about the camp and the area. Most of your vacation research is complete because Annette has provided it all in the email. We can't wait to come back here!
