Jellystone Park™ Luray Reviews
We camped at Jellystone Park in Luray this weekend and had a great time! The park is very clean and welcoming. The bathhouses and restrooms are clean. They have several playgrounds and other activities for kids to do while you are their. The pool was still closed but will be opening soon. Hopefully when we return in the summer we can enjoy the pool. Their was this one ranger his name is Jason he was very nice and very helpful. He showed us where our site was, helped us with our golf cart, firewood, and came and checked on us during our stay. Told us about local places nearby to visit. He seemed to really enjoy his job and I noticed he help everyone just like us. We highly recommend this park. It is a great family campground to camp at or visit. Lots of friendly people and beautiful mountain views.
Apr 27, 2025 · Jenny CropperWe enjoyed our visit. The restrooms and camp site were clean. I appreciated the single stall options which included showers. I liked that they picked trash up at the sites regularly. We did gem mining, laser tag, paddle boating and some of the scheduled activities. It’s a good area to bike around. We also enjoyed visiting the close attractions like Luray caverns and Bear Mountain Ziplines which is right next door. Some cons: The arcade is kinda small, there were only two games I would play. I think they charged $5 for 20 tokens and the games were about 5-7 tokens. We didn’t like the laser tag much, the guns made weird noises and were difficult to target. Probably still fun for smaller children but I had had 11-13 year olds that got bored quick. There were a lot of flying bugs around so we needed bug repellent and kept a fire going to keep them away. Wi-Fi and cellular data was terrible. We were not on our phones much but when I needed a stronger data connection I had to dive out about 8 minutes towards the Caverns and Walmart.
Apr 27, 2025 · S PerroBest campground we have ever visited. Awesome customer service from every employee we met. Went in the off season when not as much was open, but the staff made sure the kids had plenty to do. Jump pillows, arcade, plenty of fish in the pond, well stocked store, pedal boats, zip line, mini golf, and playgrounds were all open. Cabins were super clean and all facilities were well taken care of. Would definitely recommend to cabin, tent, or RV campers. Special thanks to Chris and Aaron for being so kind every time we visited the store.
Apr 10, 2025 · Josh DGood camp ground. Some find it on the high priced side. But it is a resort. It has clean bathrooms all the time. The he Wi-Fi is bad and a few other things could improve on, but overall nice clean place.I wish they would institute lights out to enjoy the stars though.
Apr 27, 2025 · Michael PWe camped here in our RV on Labor Day weekend 2023. The area itself is very picturesque. The RV site we stayed in was fairly decent but there are premium sites available that are much nicer. There always seemed to be a lot of activities to do. Our son loved seeing the bears riding around throughout the weekend. We paid a little extra to do tie dye shirts / stuffed animal thing which was cool for him. The arcade had a broken A/C system at the time but my son still enjoyed it for an hour or two. He also enjoyed the gen mining. We didn't go to the water park but it looked very nice.Check in and check out was painless and getting in / out of the campground onto the highway was easy.In all, we like it there and we'll likely come back. Luray caverns are cool but we enjoyed going to the old town area of Front Royal which was about a 40 minute trip (skyline drive is somewhat on the way).
