Bald Mountain Campground Reviews
This is my favorite campground in the Bighorns. It's very open, so you have great views, and I appreciate the higher altitude. Elk can often be seen on the lush slopes of Bald Mountain, which also makes for a great hike. The Medicine Wheel and Porcupine Falls are quite close. If you like to fish, the upper Little Bighorn River can be a hoot for small cutthroat and brookies.
Aug 23, 2019 · Christopher HelmickBoth my kids and I loved this campground. Beautiful and peaceful.
Jul 04, 2024 · Matthew RicheyNight of August 11 was cool at campground around 40 degrees...in the lower elevation 20 miles west as the crow flies, it was 91 degrees at 11AM the morning.
Aug 14, 2024 · Kevin CantrellPretty good campground overall, but really small and hard to find, more like a trailer park than a campground in my opinion.
Aug 22, 2022 · GavenThis is the most gorgeous campground in the Bighorns. Every campsite has a view of Bald Mountain, it's a ways off the highway, and the sunsets here are unreal. Everyone needs to stay here at least one night.
