The campground's proximity to these local points of interest makes it an excellent base for exploring the Amish heritage and craftsmanship of the area.
In terms of services, Berlin RV Park & Campground is well-equipped to cater to the needs of modern campers. A key feature mentioned in the reviews is that the campground offers "full hook-up" sites. This is a significant advantage for RV travelers, as it typically includes connections for electricity (likely 30 and/or 50 amp service), water, and sewer at each campsite. These full hookups ensure a comfortable and convenient stay, allowing RVers to utilize all their onboard amenities without the hassle of frequent trips to communal service areas. This makes Berlin RV Park a prime choice for local RV owners seeking a nearby and well-serviced camping location.
Another notable service provided is Wi-Fi access. In today's connected world, having reliable internet can be important for staying in touch, planning local excursions, or even remote work. One reviewer specifically mentioned that they use Starlink and have never had any issues with internet connectivity at the campground, suggesting that the Wi-Fi provided by the park is also likely dependable. This amenity adds to the overall convenience and appeal of Berlin RV Park for campers who need to stay connected.
Beyond the essential hookups and Wi-Fi, Berlin RV Park & Campground boasts a range of additional features that enhance the camping experience. For families traveling with children, the "very nice playground" is a significant asset, providing a safe and fun space for kids to play and burn off energy. This family-friendly amenity makes the campground an attractive option for local families looking for a weekend escape.
The campground also offers amenities that are less commonly found, including a basketball court and a volleyball court. These provide opportunities for recreational activities and friendly competition among campers of all ages. The availability of these sports facilities adds an extra layer of entertainment and makes the campground a more engaging place to stay.
For those who enjoy leisurely strolls and connecting with nature within the campground, Berlin RV Park features "walking trails." This amenity caters to campers who appreciate a bit of exercise and exploration without having to leave the campground.
Additionally, the campground provides a "pavilion area." Pavilions are often used for group gatherings, picnics, or campground events. This feature suggests that Berlin RV Park can accommodate groups or rallies and provides a communal space for socializing and enjoying outdoor meals or activities, further enhancing the sense of community within the park.
The reviews consistently praise the staff as "very friendly and helpful." Positive interactions with campground staff can significantly impact the overall camping experience, making guests feel welcome and well-cared for. The friendly and helpful service at Berlin RV Park contributes to its reputation as a great place to stay.
One reviewer, who identified as a Workamper from Tennessee, was particularly impressed with Berlin RV and highly recommended it, further attesting to the campground's quality and desirability. This positive feedback from experienced travelers speaks volumes about the standards maintained at the park.
While the reviews are overwhelmingly positive, one thoughtful recommendation was shared regarding the ground around the hookups. The area is attractively set with stones, but a suggestion was made to clear the immediate area in front of the utilities to provide a solid, level surface for attaching water, electric, and sewer connections, particularly for those with balance issues. The reviewer noted that this minor suggestion did not lessen their desire to stay at Berlin RV Park, highlighting that the overall experience is excellent.
Given the consistently positive feedback regarding cleanliness, friendly staff, full hookups, Wi-Fi, playground, sports courts, walking trails, and its location in the heart of Amish Country, Berlin RV Park & Campground offers a compelling option for local users seeking a "camping near me" experience. Berlin RV Park & Campground Reviews
We’ve stayed at Berlin RV Park many times. The campground is always very clean and the staff is very friendly. They are full hook-up and Wi-Fi. We have Starlink and have never had any issues with internet. The campground is in Amish country and close to shopping. Very nice playground. Great place to stay.
Apr 27, 2025 · Robin PolingThis is a great campground in Holmes County, Ohio, smack-dab in the heart of Amish country. The park is family-owned. The sites are easy to access and level. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer amenities you do not often see, basketball court, volleyball court, walking trails, and a pavilion area.I only have one recommendation that I shared with them. The ground around the hookups is set with stones and very attractive. However, walking on the stones to attach water, electric, and sewer can be challenging, especially for anyone that has balance issues. My recommendation was to keep the stones, but clear the area in front of the utilities so that a person is standing on solid ground. This, however does not lesson the desirability to stay here.As Workampers in Tennessee, we are impressed with Berlin RV and highly recommend it to other campers. You will love it.
Sep 29, 2024 · John TozerBerlin RV Park is close to town (Berlin) with easy access to Walnut Creek, Charm, Millersburg and others. The park itself is situated along State Route 39, close enough to hear the traffic, though not too bad. You can also hear the clip clip of a buggy once and a while. The park is very clean and sites are pretty level. They are not the most spacious in most cases. Some, particularly on the ends of a row have a bit more yard space. But the water and utilities are solid. Even the WiFi is usable for some basic email etc...Firewood was good and dry and really reasonably priced. It is self service, just drop your cash in the box. Doesn't cost an arm and a leg to have a campfire. Same for ice if you need any.If you visit be sure to enjoy the more commercial areas but don't miss the opportunity to take a drive in the country. Charm Ohio is a nice drive and a wonderful taste of "Amish Country". Beautiful and peaceful countryside. We withheld one star for the spaces which are just a bit tighter than we'd like. The company around us, and in the whole park, was pleasant with nice rigs and polite guests.
Oct 11, 2024 · Scott HNice clean camp. They pick the site for you. The one we had was very narrow. You couldn't use the fire ring if you wanted to. It was barely 2 feet from our door of our camper. Not safe to use, and fill your camper with smoke. Too bad you weren't asked of where you would like to camp. Several empty spots to. Not a big fan.
Sep 25, 2024 · T CVery quiet campground that is a short drive from Berlin, Ohio. The staff is super friendly, and the grounds are nicely maintained. The sites are a little close for our liking, but the convenience to Amish Country, friendly staff, and immaculate grounds were a good trade-off. Will definitely be back!
