Big Creek Park Reviews
I am amazed at the time and energy that makes this place so beautiful! It is sad that more people don't take advantage of such a gem of a campground! It's very clean and has a beautiful swimming beach not to mention some fishing ponds. The staff is very polite and provides a security patrol. You're really missing out people!
Aug 05, 2024 · Danny G.A beautifully maintained campground, one of the nicest we've camped at. Huge sites, nice trees. Close to Laurel for any "Home Town" fans. Check out the nature trail by the dam. Nice place!
Oct 02, 2024 · Fritz GilbertThis park is nice and very clean. There is a beach to swim at, plenty of fishing area, hiking trails, playground, horseshoes, etc...The restrooms are old but extremely well kept and clean. Plenty of spaces for RVs/Campers as well as a separate area for primitive tent campers. Security is present and is courteous & I'm glad they don't mind keeping the peace during quiet hours. The ladies at the office make check-in a breeze and are very friendly as well.I'll definitely be back here and allow more time to enjoy this treasure.
Nov 28, 2023 · Outdoors With ShawnWe have stayed here many times over the years & love it! After the Easter storms they had to close because were hit head on & had so much damage lost so many trees, cabins destroyed, just unbelievable. But, They worked hard & finally were able to open in June. We went for the Grand re-opening & it was great! Went back a couple of weeks later for my grandson’s birthday & he had the best birthday ever (his words). The staff are always friendly & helpful & over the years have become friends.
