Big Rock Candy Mountain/ Big Chill Bar & Grill Reviews
My group booked the event space for a class reunion - and it was perfect. Roger and Lela made the process of booking and deciding details very easy - they were extremely responsive and provided helpful suggestions. We had the taco bar - and the food was fresh and delicious. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during the event. Several classmates stayed in the cabins and yurt for the weekend - and shared great reviews.I would highly recommend Big Rock Candy Mountain for events in a gorgeous setting with great people.
Nov 06, 2024 · Julie JonesClean and cozy! Safe and chill! Go on the Saturday hike! And do NOT miss out on the restaurant! The food is phenomenal (shout out Chef Jenny!!! 🙌)
Apr 14, 2025 · Rachel DillonRestaurant/bar review- great food, nice bars, martinis reasonably priced (7$), they even have a martini flight. Burger really good, so is fish. Desserts are above average-I don’t usually go for chocolate cake, but their lava cake was great. Very nice owners, and especially for the area, much nicer than anything in 30 mile drive.Update: after six months it’s still as great as the first time we went. Absolutely our favorite place to eat when at the current river. So great to have this here!
Nov 02, 2024 · Dgv11We have eaten here 2x this summer and each experience has been outstanding! The friendliest of staff, the owners made it a point to check on us every time to ensure a great experience. Dog friendly which is a huge positive!Food on both trips is amazing, bring your appetite and get the Nachos!
Jul 20, 2024 · Erik PainterMy family and I have stayed at Big Rock the last two summers for float trip weekends with three other families. The cabins are clean and comfortable. The food, bar and live music are great. But what makes this place really special is the hospitality from the owners, Roger and Lela. Excellent place to spend a weekend away from the city! Can't wait to come back!
