Camp Chippewa and Retreat Center Reviews
I went here for d.a.r.e. camp when i was at the end of 5th grade 2013 at Lincoln elementary school and i loved it the problem i had and still have is the fear of the unknown and i couldn't do the kayaking because of my main fear if murky or non clear water i can see through but i got 3rd place in archery and then i got 5th with the bb gun cause i was never with bb guns mainly probably the fact wind resistance has huge roll on the bb being shot with less power again the wind and it would affect the trajectory and the fact the kinect force would be drastically changed so in my opinion bb suck as a starter gun to teach how to handle an actual hunting rifle due to the many differences in how they work anyways extremely recommend this place and that therapy ranch out there by Rantoul KS also a good place to spend 1 week at either volunteering or visiting with your children or sending on a field trip!

Sep 16, 2024 · Omar A.All the counselors, CIT's, Wranglers, and fellow campers are so nice and friendly! I would honestly live at Camp Chippewa if I could. All the horses are taken excellent care of, and are easy to guide. The cabins are really nice, even air conditioned! There are also other activities such as archery, fishing, crafts, giant connect 4, Shiskaball, tetherball, Seleobox, a sand volleyball court, and a pool! I don't think I will ever leave.
