One enthusiastic reviewer recounted their "great time at Camp Laughing Grass!" They specifically highlighted the hostess, Trinity, as "fabulous," extending this praise to everyone else they met who worked with her. This strong commendation for the staff suggests a high level of customer service and a genuinely welcoming team. The reviewer also noted the "great vibes and good people" and the presence of "wonderfully friendly dogs," painting a picture of a warm and inclusive community at the campground.
Despite a weather-related delay due to heavy rain, the reviewer's overall experience was overwhelmingly positive. They stayed in the "golden goat tent" and provided an honest assessment of the accommodation. While they noted it being "a bit musty" and the floor "a bit dirty" (attributing this partly to the end of the season and the rain), they were quick to point out the positive aspects. The beds were described as "clean and comfy," and they appreciated the provision of "two clean bath towels and face cloth" and "two clean comfy chairs with foot rests (and cute pillows on them to boot)." This attention to detail in furnishing even the tent accommodations suggests a commitment to guest comfort.
Adding to the unique charm was the inclusion of a "bin of free snacks" and the availability of "an apparatus for smoking and more you could purchase." This explicitly indicates the campground's 420-friendly nature, catering to a specific community of users. The presence of a hammock, fire pit, grill, and picnic table at their site further enhanced the outdoor living experience, providing all the essentials for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The reviewer described their site as "very nicely appointed," highlighting the thoughtfulness in setting up the camping spaces.
A thoughtful touch mentioned was the availability of "coffee, tea and snacks available in the am at the pavilion." This communal offering fosters a sense of community and provides a convenient way for guests to start their day. The reviewer concluded by enthusiastically recommending Camp Laughing Grass as a "great place to go to chill" and expressed excitement about returning the following year, underscoring the positive and memorable experience they had.
Another reviewer shared their "first time experiencing Camp Laughing Grass" and their overwhelmingly positive impression. They stayed in the "Acapulco Gold cabin" for a 3-day, 2-night trip and described it as "truly a wonderful time." Notably, they traveled solo but are "already planning my trip for next year with friends!" This strong desire to return and share the experience with others speaks volumes about the campground's appeal, particularly for those seeking a welcoming and enjoyable environment.
This reviewer explicitly highlighted the campground's niche, stating, "If you are 420 friendly, and just want to be around good vibes and good people, this is DEFINITELY the spot for you!" The explicit mention of an "apparatus for smoking" being available (with more purchasable) is a unique feature catering to the 420-friendly community.
While specific promotional offers are not detailed in these reviews, the overwhelmingly positive word-of-mouth and the high likelihood of repeat bookings serve as strong implicit promotions. Camp laughing grass Reviews
Had a great time at Camp Laughing Grass! The hostess Trinity is fabulous as is everyone else we met that work with her. Great vibes and good people and some wonderfully friendly dogs. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but the heavy rain caused a delay. The only reason I gave a 4 for the golden goat tent was it was a bit musty and floor a bit dirty(granted it was the end of season and rained so not all their fault) but the beds were clean and comfy, two clean bathtowels and face cloth, two clean comfy chairs with foot rests (and cute pillows on them to boot) and they provided a bin of free snacks, an apparatus for smoking and more you could purchase. There was a hammock, fire pit, grill and picnic table for our site as well. Very nicely appointed. Coffee, tea and snacks available in the am at the pavillion. Great place to go to chill. Highly recommended. So excited to go again next year!
Sep 30, 2024 · Debbie StebbinsMy first time experiencing Camp Laughing Grass. I just returned home from a 3 day, 2 night stay. I stayed in the Acapulco Gold cabin. It was truly a wonderful time. I went by myself, but am already planning my trip for next year with friends! If you are 420 friendly, and just want to be around good vibes and good people, this is DEFINITELY the spot for you! Trinity and the rest of the staff are top notch!
Aug 22, 2024 · Ali JulianoI'm returning from a three day visit at this amazing camp! Completely inclusive of all ages, races, sexual preferences and/or identities. Several guests didn't even partake in Laughing Grass but came for the vibe! Super clean cabins. We were in Blue Dream and hope to get the same one next year. Comfortable beds. We didn't need the AC but it was nice to know it was there if needed. The community bathrooms were surprisingly clean! I went at 11:30 at night completely expecting a mess but none was to be found! It 100% is the up to the guests you know. Be responsible for yourself - your mother doesn't work there. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The sponsors offered great specials,! Will definitely be using the delivery service next visit!! Keep up the good work! High roads and high fives!!!
Jun 09, 2024 · SharonCamp Laughing Grass was an absolute blast! My sister and I took this epic 6-hour road trip from New York, and let me tell you, it was so worth it. Cabins were spotless, bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve ever seen while camping. Next time, we're totally going for one of those tent or glamping spots, just for some extra chill vibes and privacy, 'cause the cabins have shared grills and a fire pit. Overall, it was such a fun time. Good times, good vibes, can't wait to go back!
Jun 20, 2024 · Maddy CostelloI stayed at Camp Laughing Grass for the weekend in the cabins with my boyfriend, my best friend and her boyfriend. Although we had a lot of fun at the campground itself with the gatherings and things, but we will NEVER return. We arrived Friday night just before 7pm and they were getting ready to lock the wood for the night so my boyfriend purchased 3 bundles of wood and paid cash for them. We weren't able to have a fire Friday night when we got there due to the rain so we waited until Saturday to burn the wood we PURCHASED. Saturday night we had a fire and ended up burning 2 of the 3 bundles of wood we purchased and ending up leaving the third bundle next to the fire pit so other campers could use it, as we cannot bring it across state lines. We checked out on Sunday just before 11am, and not even an hour after we left I got a voicemail from Trinity the owner accusing us of STEALING wood Saturday night after it had already been locked. She told us that she had "a bunch of reports of us grabbing wood when it was locked" and word for word said "If you could possibly pay for that and not steal from weed camp we'd really appreciate it". I don't appreciate her accusing us of "stealing" wood when she has on RECORD that we bought our 3 bundles of wood the first night we were there. Why would we STEAL more wood when we didn't even use all 3 bundles that we purchased?? We called her back and told her our side of things and she said "So you're calling my friends liars that I've known for years?" and YES I am calling them liars because we didn't STEAL wood. I could understand if she called us asking if we forgot to pay for wood but the fact that she called and just went straight to accusing us of stealing. So unless you want the chance of possibly being accused of stealing while staying there, I would stay FAR away from this place.UPDATE: In response to the owner; first of all we arrived at 6:51pm and it says to CALL if you are going to be later then 7. We weren't rude to a single person at that campground and we were respectful of everything we used. We did NOT tell other people "how to steal wood" nor did we steal wood ourselves. Maybe you need cameras if you feel that you cannot trust your campers, or maybe you need better friends that won't lie to you. AND two of us are 26 so either way we would have booked your campground. 👍Like we told you on the phone yesterday, we will pay for whoever stole the wood if you really don't believe us but we didn't steal it.
