Campground Membership Outlet Introduce
For local users in Florida who are looking to sell their existing campground memberships and are exploring options under the broad category of "camping near me" (in the context of finding services related to camping), Campground Membership Outlet, located at 506 S Hwy 27, Minneola, FL 34715, USA, is a company that appears to offer services in this niche. It's important to clarify that Campground Membership Outlet itself does not seem to be a campground where one can directly camp. Instead, based on the available information and customer reviews, it operates as a brokerage or resale service for individuals looking to sell their campground or RV resort memberships.
Campground Membership Outlet can be contacted at their phone number: (800) 272-0401 or their mobile phone: +1 800-272-0401. These contact details are crucial for anyone considering using their services to sell a campground membership. It is highly recommended that potential clients reach out to the company directly to understand their current processes, fees, and success rates.
Given that Campground Membership Outlet is a service provider rather than a campground, the traditional aspects of "environment, services, and features" as they relate to a camping location do not directly apply. Instead, we need to analyze the information available to understand the services they offer and the experiences of their clients. The core service appears to be assisting individuals in selling their campground or RV resort memberships to interested buyers.
Based on the limited information from customer reviews, the service model of Campground Membership Outlet involves listing the membership for sale and attempting to find a buyer. This process may involve an upfront fee for their services, as indicated in one review. The timeframe for a successful sale can vary significantly, and as highlighted by one customer's experience, it might take a considerable amount of time, even years, without a guaranteed sale. Communication with the company seems to be a key aspect, with one reviewer noting the need for them to initiate follow-ups.
Features of their service likely include listing the membership on their platform or network, handling inquiries from potential buyers, and facilitating the transfer of the membership upon a successful sale. However, the level of active marketing and the strategies employed to find buyers are not detailed in the provided reviews. The suggestion in one review to lower the selling price indicates that the company might advise sellers on market conditions and pricing strategies.
The promotional aspect for Campground Membership Outlet would be their ability to connect sellers with potential buyers, thereby providing a marketplace for campground memberships that individuals might find difficult to navigate on their own. They likely market their services to individuals looking to liquidate their campground investments or unused memberships. However, the lack of company-provided promotional information in the given data necessitates a reliance on customer experiences to gauge their effectiveness.
The customer reviews provide a critical perspective on the services offered by Campground Membership Outlet. One review from 2025 details a highly negative experience where a membership listed in 2018 remained unsold despite price reductions over five years. The customer also reported being denied a refund of the initial service fee, leading to significant dissatisfaction and a strong recommendation against using the company.
Another review, also from 2025, recounts a more involved experience that began in July 2024. While communication was initially consistent and a sale was reported in October 2024, the seller encountered significant issues with receiving payment after the transfer was supposedly in progress. As of early 2025, the seller reported no payment, no communication for over a month, and no longer possessing the membership, leading them to involve legal counsel and file complaints with regulatory bodies. This review also strongly advises against using the company's services.
These two detailed negative reviews raise serious concerns about the effectiveness, transparency, and customer service practices of Campground Membership Outlet. While it's important to consider that these are individual experiences and may not represent every transaction, the issues highlighted – lack of successful sales over extended periods, failure to receive payment after a sale, poor communication, and non-refundable fees – are significant red flags for potential clients.
Given the information available, local users in Florida looking to sell their campground memberships should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before engaging with Campground Membership Outlet. This due diligence should include seeking additional reviews from various sources, inquiring in detail about their fees, the process for selling memberships, the estimated timeframe for a sale, and their policies regarding refunds or recourse in case of unsuccessful transactions or payment issues. It would also be prudent to compare their services and fees with other membership resale companies in the market to make an informed decision.
In conclusion, Campground Membership Outlet in Minneola, FL, appears to offer a service for individuals wishing to sell their campground memberships. However, the available customer reviews paint a concerning picture of long-term lack of success, financial loss, and poor communication. For local users searching under "camping near me" for solutions to sell their memberships, it is imperative to approach Campground Membership Outlet with significant caution and to conduct extensive research and due diligence before entrusting them with the sale of their valuable assets. Exploring alternative options and seeking advice from trusted sources might be a prudent course of action based on the experiences shared by past clients.

Campground Membership Outlet Reviews
I should of did more research on this company before hiring them to sell my membership. Back in 2018 i put my membership in deferment for 5 yrs. (inactive) and hire this company to sell it. They told me that they it will take a couple of months to sell it. It required a fee for the service. It would be me that always initiated the follow up. Five years have passed and no sell, after several suggestions to lower the selling price which I did. No in 2025 the membership has not been sold, after bringing down the selling price varies times. I ask melissa about a refund of the fee and she informed me they do not have a policy to refund those fees. So they took my money and have nothing to show for it. My advise to you DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE OR COMPANY.
Jan 29, 2025 · Michael McDanielIn July of 2024 we listed our membership with this company. Communication was pretty consistent. We had a couple of sales fall thru. On October 4 we were notified that the sale had been successful and transfer was in progress. On Oct 18 we were told they were on top of it. Dec 4 they said a check would be mailed within 2 weeks with tracking. We have reached out twice enquiring about the check. We have not recieved any response or communication in over a month. Here we are now into 2025 with no money, no communication and no membership!!! All information is now in the hands of our attorney. Paperwork is in process with Florida Attorney General as well as the Better Business Bureau. Hopefully someone can get our $5,500 for us.I would never recommend this company for selling a membership.
Jan 06, 2025 · Liz GrimesDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Please stay away. You have been warned. We sold a thousand trails membership through them for a net return of $6,500 after their cut. After confirming the sale we got radio silence. For months. We tried reaching out multiple times a week during that time through phone and email and got nothing. We’re certain they were screening our calls.Eventually we had to submit a Better Business Bureau claim and lo and behold they finally got back to us and sent the check…. In regular post with no tracking number. Now we’re just crossing our fingers that it clears. We have also filed complains with the FTC and Florida Attorney General. This company is a scam out to steal your money. Beware.
Jan 31, 2025 · Dylan HammerKimberly was very helpful and prompt during my purchasing a thousand trails pre-owned upgraded membership. She was very compassionate and understanding the reason I need an upgraded membership as I'm a recovering cancer patient. And she even helped me to get a discounted price. I know there are negative reviews, but all I can say is that if anyone needs to buy a upgraded campground membership for thousand trails, I highly recommend you contact Kimberly. I arrived at a Thousand Trails Lake Tawakoni yesterday. I can stay 21 days straight, Not 14 days. And I can go to another Thousand Trails Campground immediately after 21 days Stays here and staying 21 days and so on. I don't need to spend 7 days outside the campsite interval between anymore. Thanks to Kimberly.
Dec 12, 2024 · Sang OssyWe went through this company to sale our Thousand Trails membership starting June 27, transfer was completed August 29th 2024, I emailed them asking for a status on payment. Just another scam!!!!!Update:Just received my check on 11/12/24, while it took way too long, at I received check as promised.
