Camping at Defenders Retreat

14400 Old Baxter Rd, Silver Point, TN 38582, USA

Great little glampground nestled between all the state parks. Flew in from Texas and camped here two nights while we explored the waterfalls. The convenience of everything being set up made camping while flying very enjoyable. The showers were hot and very well maintained. Our tent was private and had a great view (Tent I)- even in the rain and wind it kept us cozy and dry. The host was very accommodating and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. It had extra amenities we didn’t have to pack (umbrella, blankets, chairs, heater). We did bring our own coffee mugs and supplies. The pavilion had power if needed. For the convenience it was well worth the price. Call the host & book direct. Would stay here again. - Stephanie Lloyd
