Circle CG Farm Campground Introduce
Looking for a "camping near me" experience that combines a peaceful environment with a welcoming community? Consider Circle CG Farm Campground, located at 131 N Main St, Bellingham, MA 02019, USA. Based on recent customer reviews, this campground offers a generally positive experience characterized by cleanliness, a quiet atmosphere, and exceptionally friendly staff and fellow campers.
One of the standout features of Circle CG Farm Campground is its friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Multiple reviewers have commented on the super friendly nature of both the staff and the other campers. The experience of exchanging greetings and even engaging in pleasant conversations with neighbors seems to be a common one, fostering a strong sense of community within the campground. This welcoming environment can significantly enhance the overall enjoyment of your camping trip, making you feel more at ease and connected.
The campground is also noted for its cleanliness. While one reviewer mentioned that some areas might appear a "little dated," the overall impression is that the facilities are well-maintained and clean. This is an important aspect for a comfortable and hygienic camping experience.
Families with children will appreciate the "great" pool, which includes a shallow end, making it safe and enjoyable for younger kids. This amenity provides a fantastic way to cool off and have fun during your stay, adding to the family-friendly appeal of the campground.
The camp store at Circle CG Farm Campground is described as both affordable and clean, with a rustic cabin feel. This suggests that you can conveniently purchase essential supplies and snacks without breaking the bank, all within a charming and authentic setting. The rustic ambiance of the store adds to the overall camping experience.
A unique feature that seems to be a hit with children is the presence of mini horses and mules. These gentle animals provide an opportunity for kids to have memorable encounters and add a special touch to the farm-like atmosphere of the campground. This interaction with animals can be a significant draw for families looking for a more engaging camping experience.
While one reviewer mentioned that it was "a bit buggy," this is a common occurrence when spending time outdoors in nature, especially during certain times of the year. Being prepared with insect repellent is always a good idea when camping in wooded or rural areas. However, this minor inconvenience did not detract significantly from the overall positive experience of being outside in nature and relaxing.
The spacing between campsites is also noted as being good, contributing to the quiet and respectful atmosphere of the campground. Having adequate space between sites allows for more privacy and reduces noise, enhancing the peacefulness of the environment.
Circle CG Farm Campground appears to be a popular choice, with one reviewer mentioning that it is "full of good people" and expressing their intention to return. This high level of satisfaction and repeat business speaks to the positive experiences that many campers have had at this location.
However, it's important to consider all feedback. One reviewer with a 35-foot motorhome and trailer reported difficulties with a site that was supposed to be a pull-thru, encountering issues with trees. They also noted that campers seemed "packed in" and that there was no trash pick-up. Additionally, they mentioned paying for amenities like internet and TV but only receiving electricity and water. While they acknowledged that the campground was open late in the season and met their basic needs for parking with utilities, their experience highlights potential limitations, particularly for larger RVs and regarding site layout and advertised amenities.
The discrepancy in experiences suggests that site suitability may vary, and it is crucial for RV owners, especially those with larger rigs, to communicate the size and type of their vehicle clearly when making a reservation and to inquire specifically about site access and layout. Clarifying which amenities are guaranteed at your specific site is also advisable.
The fact that the campground was the "only place open late in the season" for one reviewer suggests that Circle CG Farm Campground may cater to campers during a broader range of the year compared to some other facilities in the area. This could be a significant advantage for those looking for camping options outside the peak season.
In terms of potential improvements, one reviewer mentioned hoping for paved road sections and renovations to the activity area, such as mini-golf. This indicates that while the campground is generally well-regarded, there is potential for upgrades to further enhance the guest experience.
For local users searching for "camping near me" in Bellingham, Massachusetts, Circle CG Farm Campground offers a generally positive experience with its clean environment, quiet atmosphere, friendly community, great pool for kids, and unique farm animal encounters. However, it's essential to be aware of potential limitations, especially regarding site suitability for large RVs and the reliability of certain advertised amenities. Direct communication with the campground when booking is highly recommended to ensure your specific needs can be met.
To get the most accurate and up-to-date information about site availability, pricing, amenities, and any current promotions, it is best to contact Circle CG Farm Campground directly. In conclusion, Circle CG Farm Campground presents a compelling option for those seeking "camping near me" in a friendly and relatively quiet setting in Bellingham, MA. The positive aspects, such as cleanliness, community atmosphere, and family-friendly amenities, are significant draws. However, potential guests, particularly those with large RVs, should ensure they communicate their needs clearly with the campground staff to avoid any issues with site suitability or amenity expectations. Circle CG Farm Campground Reviews
Pretty much between 4-5 stars. Clean overall, a little dated in places but EXTREMELY quiet and super friendly people all over whether the staff or the campers themselves. I don’t think we passed folks in any area without exchanging hellos and even having a few nice conversations with neighbors.Pool was great for kids with a shallow end and the camp store is both affordable and clean with a rustic feel of a real cabin. Kids loved the mini horses and mules, and while it was a bit buggy, it was great to just be outside in nature and relax with quiet and respectful neighbors and good spacing in the sites themselves. We’ll be back! Hopefully some paved road sections and renovations to the activity area like mini golf but a nice little campground that’s full of good people.
Aug 12, 2024 · Jeff AldersonNo help at pulling in. 35-foot motorhome with trailer. It was supposed to be a pull thru, but we could not fit thru two trees. Campers are packed in. No trash pick-up. But they are the only place open late in the season. We paid for everything internet, tv, 50amp electricity, water and we received electric and water. For what we needed, it was just that. To park with water and electricity. So, with that saying it was ok.
Nov 16, 2024 · Debbie DyeFantastic location, it’s hard to find sites close to Boston and at this price it’s very hard to beat. As others have noted, the mosquitos are really bad, hence the 4 stars instead of 5…apparently they sprayed the day we arrived, but with the wet conditions it seemed to do very little and sitting outside was not enjoyable. Perhaps a longer stretch of dry weather would have let us enjoy the quiet, shaded site. Picnic tables could use a dash of new waterproof stain, as they were soaked. Best of all and offsetting the minor negatives was the staff - everyone was super friendly and helpful and they made our visit a treat. We’ll be back!
Aug 13, 2024 · Jason RoundAs a "veteran" camper since I was a baby traveling with my parents to now with my own family, I have never ever found a more accommodating campground. Arrived a day late because we thought we booked the correct date to arrive, but in reality we booked a day earlier. Circle CG accommodated the change with no charge and understood our mistake. Then, to top it all off, the site we were in was a no fire zone. I asked if we could have a fire and they said unfortunately not unless you have your own raised fire pit. Understanding their concerns we, of course, followed the rules. However, management drove to Home Depot, unbeknownst to us, and purchased a raised fire pit for us to utilize. The management and staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND for my family to make sure we had the experience we wanted. These are the campgrounds us campers must protect as they understand Corporate America is killing this family tradition and vacations for so many families. Happy Camping Everyone and Safe Travels!
Jul 28, 2024 · Chris EngelhardtPlenty of space to go around at each campsite, regardless of whether you are tenting or RVing. The staff here are INCREDIBLY helpful, whether checking in/out or delivering firewood and kindling. The bathrooms are warm, but well-kept and clean. Showers provide plenty of hot water. Water and electricity are available on most sites (if not all). This is a gated campground so make sure to hold onto your key card for each time you drive in to the place. The only downside to camping in the woods, especially during summer, is the amount of mosquitoes one encounters. It can happen an experience if you're constantly being eaten alive, so come prepared to cope!
