Apr 16, 2025 · John RomanoWe chose this campground for it's location. It was convenient for us for what we needed. Water pressure was terrible. Sometimes non existant. No phone or TV reception. Limited activities planned.
Nov 05, 2024 · Lisa WatermanThis place has so much drama and the manager does nothing about it. He is one sided and rude. Also, he has his staff do his dirty work. They need a better manager in that place. The campground has so much potential and he does nothing to improve it. It has little to none amenities. It's gets improve with campers expenses. I have also learned to many snitches that report to him. I will never stay at a campground that I have to walk on eggshells. You are there to make memories not to be watched! Hopefully someday that campground will go back to what it once was.
Sep 14, 2024 · April RWe were given a really nice site. The men’s bathroom was good however the wife went into the woman’s and someone left fecal matter in the shower which was revolting. Good thing we have a new camper and don’t have to use it. (Not really the camps fault for nasty people however it should have been cleaned up in a timely manner) Prices for items in the office/store were reasonable. They had a few food trucks show up this weekend which was nice… they don’t really have much for kids though…. This weekend they had bingo and a band…. I feel other campgrounds tend to offer more… Everyone at the grounds were very nice and willing to accommodate. They do offer WiFi and much to my shock it was pretty good… I was expecting almost dial up speed bc of the holiday weekend but I was able to stream throughout the trip. Bottom line, I would like to return with the family at a later time… we would chalk this up as a success… P/S - I was told campers can’t take gas powered carts however I without a question of a doubt saw a few so not sure how that works out… I would consider looking into going seasonal if a few things could change or improve
May 29, 2023 · Obed BillingIt had been raining for 2 days and was expected to continue for at least another day. I was assigned a campsite in the C area. When I got there by driving thru a muddy field, my site was mostly under water. The people were very nice when I called, and gave me 2 more sites to try. The second was dry enough so I parked. I was so worried about getting out without getting stuck in the field I barely slept. Supposed to stay 2 nights. Went to a Cracker Barrel the second night. Called to let them know. No refund is their policy. That being said, clean bathrooms, friendly people, nice little beach. If dry, it might be nice. I won't go back.
