Stopped by for a night on the way through heading North. Great rustic, but new, campground. The staff is incredibly friendly and wants to show off and teach about gold panning. Great family and friend activity for a weekend or several day trip.

Apr 10, 2024 · Megan PetratWe had a great time! My husband just recently got interested in gold prospecting, so we definitely had no idea how to get started. Brian showed us some tips and tricks and even helped us gather some gold. He had a great sense of humor and kept everyone laughing and having a good time! He even found a babydoll head in the creek and had us all laughing! Denise showed amazing hospitality. Willow, the sweet husky, was such a lover and very friendly! It was an overall positive experience, and we can’t wait to go back! Maybe with more planning next time, haha! Oh and because I know this is a big deal as well… the bathroom was INCREDIBLY clean and nice!
Apr 20, 2024 · Maddie EvansI had a great time panning and sluicing on the creek. Had gold in every pan! Bryon was extremely helpful and got me right on the gold. He has a wealth of knowledge of the coker creek gold mining history and was able to answer all the questions I threw at him. I only had one day to spend there but would love to come back for a longer stay. Five stars!
