Camper Resorts of America

375 Ramona Expy, Perris, CA 92571, USA

3.0
The place is a dump. $1,800 to move in and $600 rent including electricity, that’s why people are here. No WiFi, no public Restrooms and people are literally pooping and urinating in public here. The laundry room has 2 washers working sometimes for over 200 people. The front gate key you pay $40 for, is always broken. Police are here frequently as are Paramedics for the dead and ill. The RV park does nothing, neither does the Housing Commission, Department of Health or Social Services. There are homeless living in makeshift tents here. They are bathing in the yards with hoses. All true. There is no longer trash pickup, you have to take it to the locked storage yard only open during your working hours of 8-11 and 3-5, 2 days a week. As soon as I can save enough I’m out of here. It’s a step above homelessness, and they’re right outside my bedroom window, often dealing drugs. - Marsha Delozier

Camper Resorts of America Introduce

For local users exploring camping options in the Perris, California area through the "Camping Near Me" platform, Camper Resorts of America is listed at 375 Ramona Expy. Contact information includes phone numbers (951) 657-7497 and +1 951-657-7497. It is important for prospective users to be aware of significant concerns raised by individuals who have stayed at this location, as indicated by online reviews. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based on publicly available feedback to help local users make informed decisions.

Based on customer reviews, the environment at Camper Resorts of America appears to be a point of significant concern. One review explicitly describes the location as a "dump," indicating a potentially unkempt or poorly maintained overall environment. This individual mentions the presence of homeless individuals living in makeshift tents within the property, further suggesting a lack of regulated or managed living conditions. The review also notes instances of individuals bathing outdoors with hoses, pointing to potential inadequacies in basic sanitation facilities. These descriptions paint a picture of an environment that may not align with the expectations of a typical campground or RV resort experience.

The services and amenities at Camper Resorts of America, according to the reviews, appear to be severely limited and often non-functional. A critical point raised is the reported absence of public restrooms, leading to unsanitary conditions with individuals allegedly defecating and urinating in public areas. This lack of essential facilities poses significant health and safety concerns for anyone staying at the resort. Furthermore, the laundry room is described as having a severely inadequate number of working washing machines (sometimes only two) for a large population of over 200 people, indicating potential difficulties in accessing basic laundry services.

Another significant issue highlighted in the reviews concerns the functionality of the front gate key, for which residents reportedly pay a $40 fee, only to find it "always broken." This suggests potential security vulnerabilities and inconvenience for those trying to access the property. The lack of Wi-Fi is also mentioned as a drawback. Additionally, there are alarming reports of frequent police and paramedic presence, allegedly related to deaths and illnesses within the resort. These are serious indicators that prospective users should consider carefully.

The reviews also detail severe problems with essential services such as trash pickup. According to one account, there is no longer regular trash collection, and residents are required to transport their garbage to a locked storage yard that is only accessible during very limited hours (8-11 AM and 3-5 PM, two days a week), which may conflict with many residents' work schedules. This severely restricted trash disposal system could contribute to unsanitary conditions within the property.

In terms of positive features, one reviewer mentions that "the people who live in the park are friendly though," suggesting a potential sense of community among some residents despite the challenging living conditions. Another reviewer notes that "The one nice feature is the pool," but also states that its cleanliness is inconsistent ("hit or miss"). This suggests that while there might be some recreational facilities, their reliability and maintenance may be questionable.

The primary reason cited by one reviewer for individuals residing at Camper Resorts of America is the relatively low cost of rent ($600 including electricity) compared to other housing options, despite a significant move-in fee of $1,800. The reviewer explicitly states that it is seen as "a step above homelessness," indicating that the affordability may be the main draw for some, even with the reported substandard living conditions. This suggests that the resort may cater to individuals with very limited financial resources seeking a more permanent, albeit potentially problematic, living situation rather than a typical short-term camping experience.

Given the overwhelmingly negative feedback concerning the lack of basic amenities, unsanitary conditions, potential safety issues, and severely limited services, local users seeking a traditional camping or RV resort experience through the "Camping Near Me" platform should exercise extreme caution when considering Camper Resorts of America. The information available online strongly suggests that the living conditions may be far below acceptable standards for most campers and RV travelers.

There is no promotional information available in the provided text. However, given the serious concerns raised in the reviews, any potential cost savings may be outweighed by the significant drawbacks in terms of living conditions, sanitation, and safety. Local users are strongly advised to seek alternative campgrounds or RV parks in the Perris area that offer reliable amenities and a safe, clean environment, even if they come at a higher cost.

In conclusion, based on the information extracted from online reviews, Camper Resorts of America in Perris appears to be a location with significant and concerning issues regarding its environment, services, and overall living conditions. While the low cost may attract some individuals seeking a long-term, budget-friendly option, prospective local users searching for a typical camping or RV experience through the "Camping Near Me" platform should be aware of the potential for unsanitary conditions, lack of essential amenities like public restrooms and reliable laundry facilities, and reported safety concerns. It is highly recommended to thoroughly investigate alternative camping options in the Perris area before considering a stay at Camper Resorts of America.
