Based on recent visitor feedback, this campground provides a pleasant experience, particularly for those seeking a quieter setting.
One of the standout features of Bobcat Campground, as highlighted by a first-time camper returning after a hiatus, is its cleanliness. The reviewer specifically mentions that "Lake Perris is very clean" and their campsite at #375 in Bobcat Campground was a "nice spot." This emphasis on cleanliness extends to the facilities, with restrooms being described as "super clean." For families and all campers alike, clean and well-maintained facilities are a significant factor in ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Bobcat Campground appears to prioritize hygiene, which is a notable advantage for those searching for 'Camping Near Me' options that value this aspect.
The specific campsite #375 at Bobcat Campground is noted for its advantageous location. The reviewer appreciated that this spot did not have anyone camped behind them and, at the time of their visit, no neighbors on either side. This suggests that some campsites within Bobcat Campground offer a greater sense of space and privacy, which can enhance the overall camping experience. If you prefer a site with more seclusion, inquiring about the availability of spots like #375 when making your reservation might be beneficial.
Safety and security are also positive aspects of camping at Bobcat Campground. The presence of Park Rangers patrolling throughout the night and during the day provides a sense of security and ensures that park rules are observed. This consistent monitoring can contribute to a more peaceful and safe environment for all campers, allowing you to relax and enjoy your time without unnecessary concerns. For families with young children, knowing that the area is regularly patrolled can offer additional peace of mind.
The natural surroundings of Bobcat Campground and its proximity to Lake Perris are also noteworthy. The lake itself is described as "very clean," suggesting it is an appealing feature for swimming, fishing, and other water-related activities. While the lake is mentioned as being "a little ways away" from the Bobcat Campground, it is accessible. The reviewer mentioned the option to hike down to the lake but chose not to leave their camp unattended, indicating that the distance is manageable but requires a bit of effort to reach. For those interested in lake activities, Bobcat Campground serves as a convenient base.
Another camper review mentions the availability of a "warm shower" in addition to the "clean bathrooms," further highlighting the attention to basic comfort and hygiene at the campground. These amenities contribute to a more convenient and pleasant camping experience, especially for longer stays or for those who appreciate having access to washing facilities. The combination of clean restrooms and warm showers adds to the overall appeal of Bobcat Campground as a comfortable 'Camping Near Me' option.
The beautiful mornings and nice nights experienced by one reviewer underscore the natural charm of the location. Waking up to a pleasant environment and enjoying peaceful evenings are key aspects of a positive camping trip. Bobcat Campground at Lake Perris seems to offer this serene atmosphere, allowing campers to connect with nature and enjoy the tranquility of the outdoors.
However, it's important to provide a balanced perspective based on all available feedback. One reviewer noted an issue with "loud music after midnight" coming from "some people" in the lower campgrounds. This suggests that while Bobcat Campground generally offers a quieter experience (as indicated by the camper at site #375), noise levels might vary depending on the specific location within the campground. If you are particularly sensitive to noise at night, it might be worth inquiring about site locations further away from potentially louder areas when booking.
While specific promotional information such as discounts or special offers was not included in the provided details, the positive aspects highlighted in the reviews serve as an implicit endorsement for Bobcat Campground. The emphasis on cleanliness, security with park ranger patrols, and the availability of amenities like clean restrooms and warm showers make it an attractive option for local users searching for 'Camping Near Me'. The scenic beauty of Lake Perris and the potential for a quieter camping experience in certain areas of Bobcat Campground further enhance its appeal.

Bobcat Campground Reviews
This is the first time we have been camping in a little while. Since our daughter was born. Lake Perris is very clean. We stayed in the Bobcat campground at #375. It is a nice spot if you don't want anyone behind you. We didn't have anyone camped next to us. Noticed it was more of a party spot in the lower campgrounds because of the music later into the night. The lake is a little ways away. We could have hiked down there but honestly didn't wanna leave our camp alone. Not that it's not a safe area. Just my preference. We will be going back in the future. It's a clean place.. Restrooms are super clean. They have the Park Rangers patroling throughout the night and during the day.

Aug 10, 2023 · Hope Barrientes RodriguezSite 377 is the shortcut/playground. Kids like the hill and people cross over from the other loop for a closer restroom. Keep this in mind when booking. Wish I'd known.
Nov 25, 2023 · Kai LlamasNot my cup of tea, debris surrounded the spots. If you enjoy trash camping this place definitely for you.
