For those traveling without their own bedding for their horses, the campground offers bedding for sale at a competitive price, noted by one reviewer as being "cheaper than where I come from." This thoughtful service adds to the convenience for visiting horse owners.
Beyond the equestrian facilities, Cowboy Up Trails also provides amenities for the comfort and convenience of its human guests. A notable feature is the recreation room, equipped with a full kitchen. However, one reviewer does caution about the presence of "some large rocks you have to watch for" on the trails, indicating that riders should exercise caution and be mindful of the terrain. Despite this, the overall consensus is that the trails are a significant draw, offering both enjoyable riding and stunning scenery.

Cowboy Up Trails Reviews
In September, We came from Eureka, Missouri to this beautiful part of Arkansas, to experience the horse trails in that area. I had heard of a couple of horse camps, in these Ozark Mtns. However , based on a fellow horseman’s recommendations, we chose “Cowboy Up Trails”. The owner, John & his associate started this camp in 2011. John couldn’t be any nicer or more accommodating! He even brought us back groceries, from his own shopping outing. The stalls are approximately 12’ x 16’ and water & hoses are close by.He has bedding for sale (cheaper than where I come from). They have a rec room with a full kitchen where you can watch movies, play games & cook a meal. The trails are great, but there are some large rocks you have to watch for. Great views from the high trails! It’s a bit of a nail-biter drive to get there, but very worth it !

May 29, 2024 · Tina CrawfordGreat place to stay and great trails for all. Good challenging trails and some easy trails. Beautiful scenery and lots of water crossings.
Mar 21, 2021 · Kim ClapperPleasant camping trip in the mountains. Rugged trails...thus the name Cowboy Up! Our horses were not in top shape, but we took it easy & they did it. Awesome scenery with great camp hosts Barry & John. Wish we had more time...5 days wasn't enough. I want more!
Mar 11, 2024 · Management Marine Service Inc- Margarette HerediaBeautiful camp ground and facilities!. The owner is a really nice person and checks on the camp twice a day. With the major of the trails being wide open vehicle huting roads, novice riders will be at ease. There are a few true horse trails that will offer a brief ride through beautiful terrain.
