The amount of shade available at individual tent sites can vary depending on their location within the loop, so it's advisable to check site descriptions or photos when booking, particularly if shade is a priority during warmer months. In addition to the essential campsite amenities, Wilson State Park offers a variety of other services to enhance the overall camping experience. These may include a dump station for RV waste disposal, making longer stays more convenient for those traveling with RVs. Potable water fill-up stations are usually available at designated locations within the park. Another beautiful Corps of Engineers campground on Stockton Lake that offers campsites WITH electric at a discounted rate during their shoulder season. All campsites including those with Electric hookups are only $10 ( $5 with the America the beautiful pass ) from Oct.1 to Nov.30th and March 15th-April 15th. This is an absolute blessing and so appreciative of the Corps of Engineers for allowing those who come home to Missouri during the holidays a place to plug in and stay warm. Beautiful Campground with beautiful lakefront campsites.
