A Welcoming Community by Cross Lake
Cross Lake Campground & RV Park appears to foster a strong sense of community among its visitors. One reviewer, who initially visited a friend for five years, loved it so much that they decided to become a seasonal camper. This speaks volumes about the welcoming environment and the connections formed at the park. They specifically mentioned the "many great people" and highlighted that the owner and his family contribute significantly to a positive experience, as long as park rules are followed. This suggests a well-managed park where a respectful and friendly atmosphere is encouraged.
Another camper "absolutely loved this place," emphasizing that there are "lots of stuff to do" and that the owner is "great." This reinforces the idea of an engaging environment with activities to keep guests entertained and a personable owner who enhances the overall experience. Lakeside Location and Activities
While the provided reviews don't detail all the specific amenities, one reviewer mentioned a boat launch area, which they described as a "nice area to take a quick dip." This indicates that the campground offers access to Cross Lake, providing opportunities for boating, swimming, and other water-related activities. The reviewer also noted that the included picture did not fully represent the campground, as it showed the "outback, where the boat launch is," implying that there are other scenic or amenity-rich areas within the park that are not captured in that particular image.
The statement "Lots of stuff to do" suggests that beyond lake access, the campground likely offers other recreational opportunities. These could include common campground amenities such as playgrounds, sports areas (e.g., basketball, volleyball), or planned activities, although the specifics are not mentioned in the provided reviews. The emphasis on community also hints at potential social activities or gatherings within the park.
Given that it is also an "RV Park," Cross Lake Campground & RV Park likely provides the necessary infrastructure for RVs, such as hookups for water, electricity, and sewer. The "seasonal" camper also implies the availability of longer-term site rentals, catering to those who wish to make Cross Lake their regular getaway destination.

Cross Lake Campground & RV Park Reviews
Been coming here for the past 5 years, visiting a friend, loved it so much...I’ve gone seasonal. You have many great people, the owner and his family make for a great experience, as long as you abide by park rules. 🎉😃
Jul 03, 2020 · KDEVENAbsolutely love this place. Lots of stuff to do and the owner is great. Hope to be back soon. The included picture does no justice of the campground, this is outback , where the boat launch is . Also a nice area to take a quick dip.
Aug 18, 2020 · Christina LI have been camping at Cross Lake Campground for 19 years now, and my family loves it there. There is a nice pond for fishing, and a nice playground for the kids to play on. The owners are wonderful, always very nice and respectful to my entire family, I camp with my parents, my husband and my young daughter. Other campers are friendly and inviting. I love that the owners have different activities that they put on, including bringing in bands for everyone to enjoy. I cant wait to go camping there again soon! Definitely a great place to get away and relax!
Jun 29, 2020 · Vendamae HarrisWe camp in the new part, we really like it here, Scott the owner is great, works very long hours and hard to get the sites ready. The sites are large and the people around us are great. Had some fun activities over the week end for the little ones and great band for the adults. Great place to make new friends and lots of fun memories.
Jun 01, 2021 · patty tingueGlenn..aka Cowboy..and I ( and if you don't know us ya all know Frank) have had the pleasure of camping here for the last 3 years and have enjoyed each moment and memory made here. Scott has been more than accommodating and tolerant of our camper switch and site switch. Everyone here is friendly and welcoming like family. The campground is beautiful and continues to improve each year. Our only regret is we didn't camp here longer. We hope Scott and his family own and operate this park for many years to come so it's still the place we all call home for the magical season we are blessed to be here together.❤
