Deeg's Outdoor Adventure Cabins Introduce
For local individuals and families in Wisconsin seeking "camping near me" with the added comfort of a cabin, Deeg's Outdoor Adventure Cabins, located at N2466 WI-95, Neillsville, WI 54456, USA, presents a potential option. They can be contacted at (715) 409-0525 or +1 715-409-0525 for inquiries and reservations. However, it is crucial for potential guests to be aware of recent customer feedback which presents a mixed view of the property.
The Environment and Location: A Point of Contention:
One recent review highlights a significant aspect of the location that might be a drawback for some visitors. The cabin rented by the family was found to share a driveway with a biker bar situated directly across from the property, right on a "very loud MAIN highway." This proximity to a potentially noisy establishment and a busy road could detract from the peaceful outdoor experience many seek when booking a cabin getaway. While one reviewer noted this but seemed to accept it ("okay I guess...Whatever"), it is a critical piece of information for those prioritizing a quiet and secluded environment. The address on a state highway suggests that while it might offer convenient access, it could also mean consistent traffic noise.
Cleanliness and Maintenance Issues: A Major Concern:
The same detailed review raises serious concerns regarding the cleanliness and maintenance of at least the "bear cabin." Upon arrival, the guests found the floor to be "so filthy with sand, dirt and hair" that they felt compelled to sweep and wash it themselves before allowing their infant inside. The bathroom was described as likely "never been cleaned," with specific and unpleasant details such as "poo splattered under the toilet seat" and a dirty interior of the toilet. The reviewer felt the need to purchase cleaning supplies (Clorox) and flip-flops to use in the shower due to its unsanitary condition. Additionally, the cabin was reported to have "so many cob webs hanging from EVERYTHING," creating an unkempt and neglected impression. The kitchen table and chairs were also deemed unusable due to being excessively wobbly. These issues collectively paint a picture of a cabin that was not adequately cleaned or maintained prior to the guests' arrival, which is a significant concern for any accommodation.
Cabin Features and Amenities (Based on Limited Information):
The reviews provide limited specific details about the features and amenities of the cabins themselves. The mention of a kitchen table and chairs suggests that the cabins are equipped for basic self-catering. The presence of a bathroom, albeit reportedly unclean, indicates that at least some level of private sanitation is provided. The fact that a family with an infant stayed in the "bear cabin" implies that the cabins are intended for family use and can accommodate young children. Beyond these limited insights, no further information is available from the provided reviews regarding the size, layout, bedding arrangements, kitchen facilities, or other potential amenities of the cabins.
A Contrasting Short Review:
In contrast to the detailed negative review, a very brief review simply states, "Nice cozy little place." This offers a completely different perspective, suggesting that at least one guest had a positive experience and found the cabin to be comfortable. However, without any specifics, it is difficult to reconcile this with the significant cleanliness and location concerns raised in the other review. It is possible that different cabins on the property vary in quality or that this reviewer had different priorities or a different standard of cleanliness.
Services Offered (Inferred):
Based on the nature of a camping cabin rental, we can infer some basic services that are likely provided:
- Accommodation: The primary service is the provision of a cabin for lodging.
- Basic Furnishings: This would typically include beds, seating (like the mentioned kitchen table and chairs), and possibly storage.
- Bathroom Facilities: As indicated by the negative review, a bathroom with a toilet and shower is likely included, although the cleanliness appears to be inconsistent.
- Kitchenette or Kitchen Area: The presence of a kitchen table suggests at least a basic area for food preparation, though the extent of kitchen appliances (e.g., refrigerator, microwave, stovetop) is not mentioned.
- Parking: Shared driveway access was noted, implying on-site parking is available.
However, crucial information regarding linens, towels, kitchenware, heating, air conditioning, or other potential services is missing from the provided reviews.
Promotional Information and Appeal to Local Users:
For local users searching for "camping near me" who prefer the structure and some comforts of a cabin over traditional tent camping or RVs, Deeg's Outdoor Adventure Cabins might initially seem appealing. The idea of a "cozy little place" for an outdoor adventure could attract individuals, couples, or small families looking for a nearby getaway. The location in Neillsville, Wisconsin, might offer proximity to local attractions or natural areas that could be of interest. The phone numbers provided suggest that booking and inquiries are readily handled.
However, in light of the significant cleanliness and location concerns raised in a detailed review, any promotional efforts should be approached with caution and transparency. Potential local users should be made aware of the proximity to a loud highway and a biker bar, as well as the reported issues with cleanliness and maintenance. If the owners have addressed these issues, highlighting any improvements made would be essential in regaining trust and attracting bookings.
Any promotional messaging could focus on the "cozy" aspect mentioned in the positive review, perhaps emphasizing the potential for a rustic and convenient base for exploring the Neillsville area. If specific amenities or unique features of the cabins exist (e.g., fireplaces, scenic views, pet-friendly policies), these should be highlighted. However, it is imperative to manage expectations regarding the environment and ensure that the cabins are consistently clean and well-maintained.
Recommendations for Local Campers Considering Deeg's Outdoor Adventure Cabins:
Given the conflicting reviews and the serious nature of the negative feedback, local users considering Deeg's Outdoor Adventure Cabins should:
- Exercise Extreme Caution: The detailed review outlining significant cleanliness issues and a potentially noisy location should be taken very seriously.
- Inquire Specifically About Cleanliness Protocols: If you decide to inquire about booking, ask detailed questions about their cleaning procedures and what steps have been taken to address the issues raised in the negative review.
- Inquire About Cabin Location Relative to the Highway and Biker Bar: Understand the potential noise levels and proximity to these establishments before booking.
- Request Recent Photos or Videos: Ask for current images or videos of the specific cabin you are interested in to assess its condition and cleanliness.
- Seek Additional Recent Reviews: Look for more reviews from other sources to get a broader and more up-to-date picture of the guest experience.
- Clarify Amenities: Inquire about what is included in the cabin rental (linens, towels, kitchenware, etc.) to avoid surprises.
- Consider Alternatives: Explore other cabin rentals or campgrounds in the "camping near me" category in the Neillsville area to compare options and potentially find a more consistently positive experience.
Conclusion for Local "Camping Near Me" Seekers:
Deeg's Outdoor Adventure Cabins offers a camping cabin option near Neillsville, WI, which might appeal to locals seeking a slightly more comfortable outdoor stay. However, the strong negative feedback regarding cleanliness and the potentially disruptive location near a loud highway and biker bar are significant red flags. While one reviewer found it to be a "nice cozy little place," the detailed account of unsanitary conditions cannot be ignored. Local users should proceed with extreme caution, conduct thorough due diligence, and consider all available information before making a booking. Contacting the owners directly with specific concerns and seeking additional recent reviews are highly recommended steps in the decision-making process. Ultimately, the choice will depend on individual priorities and tolerance for the reported issues.

Deeg's Outdoor Adventure Cabins Reviews
We stayed here for a family vacation the week of Fourth of July (4 nights in the bear cabin). We arrived there only to find out we share a driveway with a biker bar that is located right across from us, right on a very loud MAIN highway which okay I guess...Whatever . Well... We walk inside, the floor is so filthy with sand, dirt and hair that I had to sweep it and use one of my personal wash cloths to wash the floor before I would even allow my infant to go inside. The bathroom, pretty sure that’s never been cleaned, let’s talk about the poo splattered under the toilet seat, or the inside of the toilet in itself....how does that get missed while cleaning????? I had to go to the nearest dollar general to purchase flip flops and Clorox to clean the toilet and the flip flops to wear in the shower it was so nasty. There were so many cob webs hanging from EVERYTHING, I felt like I was auditioning for a charlottes web movie, let’s not forget the kitchen table and chairs that we couldn’t even use because they were so wobbly a fly would probably land on the chair and break it. Needless to say, I will not be returning unfortunately , nor do I recommend this place which is a shame, it was not by any means a cheap place to rent
