Emigrant Springs Campground Reviews
It would be a 5 star if not for the road noise nearly 24/7 from Interstate 84 traffic and 18wheel trucks zooming by. Nice paved sites, very decent clean bath houses. Private lockable showers. And the Park Rangers come thru several times a day---bravo!
Sep 15, 2024 · Luisa ShermanThe cabins are a nice little getaway, but the road noise from the freeway made doing anything outside unpleasant. One of the nights I stayed it rained, and the sound of rainfall on the roof of the cabin was wonderful. There's power in the cabins, and a built in electric heater, so staying off season wasn't bad.
Mar 31, 2025 · Dane MeehanBeautiful campground and spent a week here. Love the isolation away from towns. Beautiful park with lots of trails and some history in regards to the Oregon Trail. There is highway noise and becomes white noise over time. We ran the fan in our trailer as well. Temperature is atleast 10 degrees cooler than pendleton or la grande.
Jul 19, 2024 · Craig HavlinekGreat atmosphere, good hiking trails, excellent 5G cell coverage, easy to get to, Sites are small but mighty. Pretty much all shade, good for hot days. The only negative is it's next to I-84. Constant road noise, but after a day or so, it sounds like the ocean 😂.
May 30, 2023 · Melaney DittlerCamped here overnight for the second time on our way to Seattle. This place is lovely with trees & wildlife, on our first stay a squirrel even stole away with our butter! 😂The restroom facilities with electricity and running water were very welcome, particularly the hot showers!Yes, it is directly off the freeway, so the noise is a bit intrusive, even sleeping inside our vehicle. But all things being equal, this spot provided what we needed, at a decent price, and a good alternative to dealing with the various complications of staying at a hotel.
