Had a last minute camping trip here over veterans day weekend. It was Rainy and almost no one was there. It was a wonderful peaceful trip. There were a good handful of fishermen. But the camp sites were almost empty. This place is really beautiful and nicer than expected. We will definitely be back. The only negative I can think of is the bathroom floors were really slippery when wet. Also some people were catching a lot of fish but we were not. The wife did almost land a nice bass but it got away. The fishing situation seems really promising for catfish from the shore. We constantly saw some monsters near the bank but had no tackle for catfish.Everything is really clean and well maintained the camp host was really cool and the whole compound is just really interesting. It has easy access for RVs and the roads are well maintained.Gps misled us. Just follow the signs to the public fishing area. - Kyle Pynn
