Glacier Hills Rustic Lakefront Cabins Introduce
Looking for a tranquil and conveniently located getaway in your local area? Glacier Hills Rustic Lakefront Cabins, situated at 1664 Friess Lake Rd, Hubertus, WI 53033, USA, offers a unique camping experience with its charming lakeside cabins. For those searching within the "camping near me" category, this destination provides an accessible and appealing option for individuals, families, and groups seeking a respite from the everyday.
The platform category "camping near me" caters to individuals looking for campgrounds, cabin rentals, and related services within a comfortable travel distance from their homes. Glacier Hills Rustic Lakefront Cabins fits perfectly into this category by offering a distinct type of accommodation – rustic lakefront cabins – providing a blend of outdoor immersion and the comfort of a private dwelling. This sets it apart from traditional tent or RV camping experiences, potentially appealing to a broader range of local users.
Based on the available reviews, the environment surrounding Glacier Hills Rustic Lakefront Cabins is highly regarded. One visitor specifically mentioned liking the area and expressed a desire to return. Another reviewer described the location as "so close yet 'away!'" emphasizing its proximity to urban areas while still offering a sense of peaceful escape. The "lakefront" aspect of the cabins suggests picturesque views and potential access to water-based activities, contributing to a relaxing and enjoyable environment. The mention of Friess Lake Road in the address further reinforces the lakefront setting. While the term "rustic" implies a more natural and perhaps less modern aesthetic, it often appeals to those seeking an authentic and nature-focused experience.
In terms of services and features, the limited number of reviews provides some initial insights. One review mentions a "Toyota meet" held at Glacier Hills, suggesting that the location can accommodate group gatherings and events. The payment of a "$5 dollar permit fee" (though the context implies it might have been for a state park visit in the vicinity, not necessarily the cabins themselves) hints at a connection to or proximity to state park land, potentially offering additional recreational opportunities for guests. The positive sentiment expressed in both reviews, particularly the "Love Love Love this place" comment, indicates a high level of customer satisfaction with the overall experience and the hospitality offered.
The primary feature of Glacier Hills Rustic Lakefront Cabins is undoubtedly the availability of rustic cabins situated on the lakefront. This type of accommodation offers a step up from traditional camping, providing shelter, beds, and potentially basic amenities while still allowing guests to immerse themselves in the natural surroundings. The "rustic" nature of the cabins suggests a focus on simplicity and a connection to the outdoors, which can be a significant draw for those seeking a more authentic and less commercialized experience. The lakefront location further enhances the appeal, offering opportunities for activities such as fishing, swimming (if permitted), or simply enjoying the scenic views from the cabin.
The affordability mentioned in one review ("And affordable") is a significant feature, particularly for local users seeking budget-friendly "camping near me" options. This suggests that Glacier Hills Rustic Lakefront Cabins offers good value for the experience provided, making it an attractive choice for families or individuals looking for an economical getaway without sacrificing a connection to nature.

Glacier Hills Rustic Lakefront Cabins Reviews
Went to glacier hills for a Toyota meet, to hang out with other Toyota owners. We had a raffle, we paid the $5 dollar permit fee, glad to help a state park. I liked the area, I will definitely be back
