The environment surrounding GoodTimes Family Campground is clearly a key attraction. Situated on a "great fishing hole," it promises easy and convenient access to angling opportunities right at your doorstep. The description of "beautiful views just footsteps away from amazing fishing" paints a picture of a scenic and accessible waterfront setting. This makes it particularly appealing to those who enjoy fishing as a central part of their camping experience. The overall impression is one of natural beauty and a relaxed connection to the water.
One of the standout features of GoodTimes Family Campground, according to visitor reviews, is the spaciousness of the campsites. The description of "very spacious lots" suggests that campers will have ample room to set up their tents or park their RVs without feeling crowded. This is a significant advantage for those who appreciate having their own space and the freedom to spread out. The reviewer specifically contrasts this with "city camping and state parks with enforced strict rules," indicating that GoodTimes offers a more open and less restrictive environment.
The campground is also described as a "huge campground," further reinforcing the idea of ample space and potentially a variety of camping locations to choose from. This size could also imply a greater sense of privacy and a less congested feel compared to smaller campgrounds.

Knowing that there is an approachable and helpful point of contact on-site can provide peace of mind and contribute to a positive stay.
The atmosphere of GoodTimes Family Campground is consistently described as "laid back" and "pleasant." This suggests a relaxed and informal environment where families feel comfortable and are not subject to overly strict regulations. It's a yearly adventure we take and we love every minute of it. Very laid back family campground on a great fishing hole. Owner Jim is very accommodating and helpful this is a huge campground with very spacious lots of your into city camping and state parks with enforced strict rules and early quiet time this probably isn't the place for you but if you want a beautiful spacious lot with beautiful views just footsteps away from amazing fishing and no complaints if your kids have a great time playing till dark this is the place.
Aug 10, 2024 · Jessie WoodIt's a pleasant place to stay. Plenty of room. Whether you pull a camper/trailer. Or use their cottages house or trailers.
Jun 29, 2024 · Mark DardioAwesome place! They have a boat launch so you don't need to go around to public launch if you are staying here. We stayed in a cabin, super great rate and had fridge and stove.
Jun 24, 2018 · jason hortonI have gone here since I was 5 months old with my parents (now 28) The original owners were like a family away from home even with a long stretch of not being able to go they still remember my moms voice as soon as she called and they asked when are you guys coming up again. Since the new owners have taken over it’s gone down hill fast. The first time we went back after the property was sold it was still in the condition of the previous owners so it looked deceiving. Now after a few years I can say watch who you sell things too. The first year they opened back up I had 3 different people tell me they were the owner ( a woman and 2 gentlemen) I believe homie said something about a big ole poll barn with a movie theater and all other sets of stuff and all these exatrvagent things they had planned and it sounded good in theory. Now being back after a few year that’s definitely not the case and now it’s just the older gentleman and he clearly has no help of any kind. We were there 5 days/nights and not once was any surface of a bathroom/shower cleaned. The woman’s bathroom had a very slimy and mildewy substance all over the shower wall and possibly mold and it’s been there a hot minute. Then we asked about when they last were cleaned the (owner) just sat on his clearly prized golf cart and mumbled some stuff looking at his phone and then very clearly said “That supposed to be my granddaughters job” very clearly trying to pawn it off one someone else (keep in mind these 3 girls ages are probably between 6-12 about the age of my daughter and I was absolutely stunned. Things will never be the same and the next time we go it will probably be across the lake at another campground. Thanks for taking my childhood and running it into the ground big preesh 👌🏼.
