Hyrum City CCC Camp Introduce
For local users in the Logan, Utah area and those searching online for "camping near me," Hyrum City CCC Camp, located at 2080 UT-101, Logan, UT 84321, USA (reachable by phone at (435) 245-6033 or mobile at +1 435-245-6033), offers a promising and enjoyable camping experience. Based on recent customer reviews, this campground provides a beautiful setting, pleasant atmosphere, and convenient access to both nature and essential amenities. This introduction aims to provide a detailed overview of the environment, services, and features of Hyrum City CCC Camp as described by those who have visited.
Hyrum City CCC Camp is described by visitors as a "beautiful place" and "very pleasant" for a family camping trip. The natural environment appears to be a key draw, offering a scenic backdrop for outdoor activities and relaxation. The presence of a creek adds to the charm, with one reviewer noting "nice places for the little ones to play in the creek." This suggests that the campground provides safe and accessible water features that can be particularly enjoyable for families with young children, offering opportunities for wading, exploring, and simply enjoying the natural flow of water.
The campground also seems to offer a comfortable and well-situated camping experience in terms of shade and proximity to the elements. One reviewer mentioned being "shaded mornings and evenings," which is a significant benefit, especially during warmer months, providing relief from direct sunlight and creating pleasant areas for relaxation around campsites. While the reviewer noted that it was "hot during the middle of the day," they also stated that this was expected, implying that the available shade during other times of the day contributed positively to their overall comfort.
The positive experience of a family spending two and a half days and two nights at Hyrum City CCC Camp highlights its suitability for family camping. The specific mention of "nice places for the little ones to play in the creek" underscores its appeal to families with children. Additionally, the presence of "3 good picnic tables" suggests that the campground provides designated areas for families and groups to enjoy meals together outdoors, a staple of the camping experience.
The fact that the family had a "campfire" indicates that the campground allows campfires, likely in designated fire pits or rings. Campfires are often a central part of the camping experience, providing warmth, a place for cooking, and a gathering point for storytelling and socializing in the evenings.
One potentially important aspect for accessibility is the campground's proximity to UT-101. While being close to a road can sometimes be a concern for noise and traffic, the reviewer noted, "Although it's close to the road we could not see traffic." This suggests that the campsites are situated in a way that minimizes visual intrusion from the road, potentially through natural barriers or the layout of the campground. This is a significant advantage, as it allows for easy access to the campground without sacrificing the feeling of being immersed in nature.
Furthermore, the reviewer highlighted the convenience of the location, noting that they were "close to groceries and gas if needed." This proximity to essential services can be particularly appealing for campers who prefer not to be completely isolated and appreciate having easy access to supplies and fuel. This balance of a pleasant natural setting with nearby conveniences makes Hyrum City CCC Camp an attractive option for a variety of campers.
A unique feature mentioned by one reviewer is the presence of a disc golf course. Although the reviewer noted, "Can’t wait for the course to be finished!" this indicates that Hyrum City CCC Camp is either currently developing or has plans to complete a disc golf course on its premises. Disc golf is a popular outdoor activity that combines elements of golf and frisbee, and the addition of a course would undoubtedly enhance the recreational opportunities available at the campground, attracting disc golf enthusiasts in addition to traditional campers.
The anticipation expressed by the reviewer suggests that the disc golf course is a highly anticipated amenity and could become a significant draw for the campground once completed. Local users interested in camping and disc golf should keep an eye on the progress of this feature.
Based on the positive reviews and common features of campgrounds, Hyrum City CCC Camp likely offers other essential services and amenities, although these are not explicitly detailed in the provided text. These might include:
- Designated campsites for tents and possibly RVs (though RV hookups are not mentioned).
- Restroom facilities (the quality and type are not specified).

Hyrum City CCC Camp Reviews
Beautiful place. I came here to play disc golf. Can’t wait for the course to be finished!
Oct 25, 2023 · Cody WashburnSpent two and 1/2 days and two nights with our family there and it was very pleasant. Nice places for the little ones to play in the creek, 3 good picnic tables, had a campfire and we were shaded mornings and evenings. It was hot during the middle of the day but we expected that. Although it's close to the road we could not see traffic. We were close to groceries and gas if needed. We'll go again.
Jun 06, 2021 · Wendy PearceThe camp site is pretty big and it has a few benches, and a few fire pits, it has a bridge that leads over to the Blacksmith Fork River Trail, which can be a fun hike up the canyon, however as of writing this, the bridge is bit dangerous because of lose boards. Great camp site, but wouldn't recommend for small children.
Aug 28, 2019 · Spencer SqwallA fun little place to camp. Wind from the canyon makes tent camping pretty loud at night and through the early morning. It's nice being right next to the river
Jul 08, 2022 · Mark SandersWould be nice to have fire rings and maybe some rocks around them but other then that it's are favorite place to rent and camp always well kept when I mean rocks around mean inch rock to help out with rings love that place
